Jason revealed his true motive for seeking strength: a coming war against the Primordials. The elders, recalling past conflicts, agreed to grant him the right of awakening in exchange for his pledge to share information about the impending war. Jason and Stella were given lodgings while preparations were made, though Stella was required to participate in the awakening ceremony.

One of the only Fallen Celestials who had become a normal part of the Primordial Expanse was C’thlyanu, the head of the Council of Nine and One. As the most famous Fallen Celestial, no one knew where his real body was, and he interacted with the world through the purple mist that had become a common sight at the Hall of Fallen Heroes. C’thlyanu was seen as a non-aggressive Fallen Celestial, and people were sure that he would never go out of his way to hurt anyone, even though he clearly had more than enough power to eradicate a significant portion of the Primordial Expanse!

But although C’thlyanu was a non-aggressor, there were other Fallen Celestials in the Primordial Expanse who were extremely aggressive towards mortals either by their choice or as a result of the power that they wielded, and it was one of these Celestials that Sicario was currently in search of.

A large blue Dimensional Tear opened in the air above a massive sea of black swirling water in an unknown world, and Sicario slowly floated out of it before he waved his hand.

"Thank you for the help, Bathseda. Wait for five minutes before you reopen the portal. If I don’t return in five minutes, then open it once every minute until ten minutes pass. If I still don’t return, then you can assume I died."

There was no response from anyone on the other side, but Sicario knew that Bathseda had received his order and accepted it. Bathseda was the wielder of the Arcane Art of Space, and using Bathseda’s powers to travel across dimensions was the only way to ensure Sicario couldn’t be tracked by any of the magical creatures around here!

But Sicario knew that it was only a matter of time before the monsters in this place noticed his presence, so he had to move quickly so he could get out of here as soon as possible.

Sicario began to fly over the black sea, and he could feel an intense pressure growing all around him the deeper he went into the world. There was no land for as far as the eye could see, and the moon in the sky was a shattered remnant of what had once been a full moon that barely shone any light on the world. The only thing that allowed Sicario to know that he was going in the right direction was the map that he had received from Gregory.

’Fifteen hundred miles northeast and then dive up into the storm of clouds.’

Sicario recalled the instruction he had received, and he changed his direction slightly and travelled opposite to the flow of wind. As Sicario flew, he suddenly felt a pair of eyes following his movement, and a surge of intense fear suddenly came over him and forced him to activate his Arcane Art! Sicario vanished from where he had been, and he reappeared a far distance away from his previous location! Sicario’s heart was racing in his chest, and he stayed very still and watched his environment to see if anything would happen.

In the far distance, a massive serpentine creature slithered out from the black sea and circled the area where Sicario had just been before it turned back around and resubmerged into the water! That creature had so much power that Sicario was not even able to analyse how strong it was, and Sicario knew without a doubt that it was a PRIMORDIAL being! If Sicario had remained there, then he would be dead by now!

Sicario stayed in his position for another minute to make sure there were no more eyes on him before he started to move again. Sicario circled around the location where the monster had been while making sure to suppress his power to avoid detection, and once he was past that, he blasted off to try and reach the storm of clouds as quickly as possible.

It took about three more minutes for Sicario to reach the storm, and Sicario knew that by now Bathseda would be opening the portal for the first time. If Sicario didn’t make it back in the next ten minutes, then he would be trapped here forever.

Sicario looked up at the storm, and he couldn’t help the feeling of smallness that suddenly came over him! When Sicario had first heard about the storm of clouds, he had been a little worried that he wouldn’t be able to figure out where the storm of clouds was. But as he looked up, Sicario realised that all of his worries had been meaningless!

The storm was a massive typhoon of dark, twisting clouds that surged up into the sky like a portal into a higher dimension! There were massive shadows swirling and twisting within this storm, and there was a dim light shining from inside that told Sicario that there was something powerful resting in the center of the storm!

Sicario reached into his armor, and he pulled out a long black key that pulsed with the same strange power that was flowing out from the cloud storm. For a single moment, Sicario felt an intense feeling of guilt coming over him. If Sicario did this, then there were so many lives that would be lost. He would be opening the gates of hell upon the world, and no one would ever be able to close it! He would have more blood on his hands than he would ever be able to wash off!

But Sicario knew that he had to do this! This was the only way to ensure his goals came to fruition, and Sicario was not going to give up on his goals!

’I already came this far. I won’t stop before I take the final step.’

Sicario strengthened his own resolve, and he flew forward and made his way into the storm!

"UGH!"

The moment he flew in, Sicario felt his entire body shiver as the power around him tripled in intensity! It felt like Sicario was inside a meatgrinder, and he was being hit from every direction by massive weights that wanted to tear him to pieces! Sicario grit his teeth and flew forward through sheer will, and deep within the storm cloud, Sicario saw a massive black door with a single keyhole in the middle of it.

This was the door to hell, and Sicario was about to open it upon this world. Behind this door was a Fallen Celestial that had been put to sleep millennia ago. A beast that had been locked up for so long that nearly no one in this world remembered its name anymore! But Sicario had found it, and Sicario knew that this was the only thing that could help him achieve his goals!

Sicario’s hands shook as he brought the long black key towards the keyhole, and the key began to vibrate as it was slowly slid in! Sicario took in a long breath and prepared his power to explode away from here! Once Sicario opened this door, he would have less than a minute to get out of this world before he was killed, and Sicario said a quick prayer in his mind towards the gods of his home world before he turned the key.

Click!

DOON!

A loud click echoed through the entire world and resounded in Sicario’s ear like the beat of a drum, and in the next moment, the storm of clouds exploded! The world shook and rumbled as the massive black gate began to swing open very slowly, and a black aura filled with hundreds of tendrils began to slither out from behind the gate like a demon clawing its way out of hell!

Sicario was already moving!
