Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1020: The Call of Destiny
Previously on Strongest Necromancer System...
Sicario was already moving! The moment he heard the seal click open, Sicario bolted like a madman, and he dashed across the black ocean like his life depended on it! But even though he had run away immediately, Sicario could still feel death following right behind him!
The monster that had tried to eat Sicario a few minutes earlier slithered out from the black ocean once it sensed the commotion, and Sicario didn’t bother to pay it any attention as he blasted past it immediately! The monster turned towards Sicario, and it was about to chase him down, but a black cloud of death suddenly enveloped the monster from behind, and in the next moment, the monster immediately died!
The black aura followed after Sicario like the darkness chases away the light during sunset, and it was quickly gaining on Sicario as it began to reach for his feet! Sicario felt his heart rate picking up as he searched for the exit, and Sicario thanked his gods when he saw the blue dimensional portal was already open in the distance! The portal was starting to close, but Sicario put all of his power towards increasing his speed, and Sicario just managed to blast through the portal before it closed!
DOON!
The darkness consumed the area where Sicario had just been, and it continued on its way as it began its long migration across the Primordial Expanse.

[The World of Jadar]
[With Agiel]
Jadar was a world that was popular for its absolute belief in destiny. Since the dawn of the world, the Jadites have always surrendered themselves to destiny in a way that allowed them to live freely without any form of regret, and their belief in destiny was so strong that magic itself decided to become involved in revealing the true destiny of every Jadite to them!
From the moment they are born, every Jadite is made aware of the fact that they have a grand destiny to achieve, and magic implants a signal within them that allows them to recognise their destiny the moment they lay eyes on it! Some Jadites have a destiny for simple things like farming or trading, while other Jadites have grander destinies like exploring the wide ocean or travelling across worlds to discover lost treasure! The moment a Jadite accepts and fulfils their destiny, they find success and progress far beyond what they could’ve ever hoped for!
But the one destiny that every Jadite collectively agreed was the greatest was the destiny of the Soul Bearer. There wasn’t very much known about this particular type of destiny. The only thing people knew was that those with the Soul Bearer destiny have always brought great fortune to whoever becomes their partner! This destiny had a unique feature of always showing up in women from a particular family in the main Kingdom.
The first woman to wield it was a young farm girl who lived on the outskirts of the kingdom. Her father took care of livestock, and she was tasked with delivering them to different nobles around the kingdom. It was on one of these trips that she felt the Soul Bearer connection for the first time with the man who would eventually become the King of the kingdom. The couple was hailed as the greatest rulers the kingdom had ever seen, and their rule was still spoken about today as the golden age of Jadar. After the couple, multiple women born into the royal family have all possessed the Soul Bearer destiny, and these women would always go on to be united with men who were destined to change the world!
It was common knowledge that no one was to interfere in the natural union of the Soul Bearers with their partners, but that had all changed when the fifty-second Queen came into power. This Queen also had the Soul Bearer destiny, and people from all over the world were looking forward to when she would find her partner and bring prosperity to their kingdom! The Queen also looked forward to that moment, and she had no doubt that magic itself would eventually unite her with her partner!
And that was exactly what happened! On a random day in the middle of a ball that celebrated the birthday of a king she couldn’t even remember, the Queen met the greatest man she had ever seen. His name was Richard, and he was the King of the Avarans. There was an immediate connection, and the Queen felt her entire soul reaching out towards Richard! She believed with all of her heart that this was the man she was meant to be with forever, and she was prepared to do anything to make him hers! But unfortunately for her, Richard did not have the same thought.
Richard had also felt the connection with the Queen, but rather than feeling excited by it, he only felt irritated! Richard did not appreciate magic interfering in his emotions, and he did not wish to start a relationship with anyone based on what magic believes is right or wrong for him. The Queen had tried to get close to Richard for years and explain what the Soul Bearer destiny truly meant. She visited him and invited him to balls. She tried talking to him many times, and there were even times when she nearly forced herself on him!
But Richard did not change his mind! And after failing for more than ten years, the Queen finally came to the realisation that Richard was not going to love her the way she loved him! This was the first time that something like this had ever happened to a Jadite, and the devastation in the Queen’s heart could be felt by everyone in the kingdom! It felt like a part of her soul had been taken away from her, and she could never get it back no matter what!
After grieving for a long time, the Queen had no choice but to get married to another noble in the kingdom who had been showing interest in her for some time. The Queen had a daughter with him, and they ruled the kingdom together. But everyone could tell that something had died inside of the Queen. The Queen smiled, but it was forced! She laughed, but it was hollow. Everything about her had faded, like a light being dimmed, and it was obvious why this had happened!
The Kingdom experienced one of its most mediocre eras in a very long time during this period. The Queen was not a bad ruler, but her rule could not be compared to that of her predecessors at all! Most people were simply waiting for the moment when the Queen would step down and give the crown to her daughter, but before she could even do this, a revolution rose up in the kingdom and began to challenge for the throne!
It had been one of the most shocking moments to all of the civilians because this was the first time someone would ever try to take the throne away from the reigning Queen! The whole of Jadar was thrown into a bloody war unlike anything it had ever seen, and deep in the heart of every single Jadite, there was only one thought that repeated itself over and over again: Magic is punishing the Queen for not fulfilling her destiny!
To the Jadites, destinies were vows that had to be fulfilled! They were prayers that must be answered! And ignoring a destiny was the greatest crime a Jadite could commit! The Jadites all believed that the Queen had desecrated their tradition by marrying another person, and it wasn’t long before most of the civilians began to turn on her! The Queen’s guards were killed, and her husband ended up being poisoned by one of the servants! And once she realised that there was no way out of this, the Queen gave her daughter instructions and sent her away to Arandelle to meet the Overlord of their domain, Farlow!
