Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1015: The Eastern Mountain Sect

The cultivators all knew that it was very possible for a spirit to travel across worlds after death! They had all heard stories about great cultivators who came back as entirely different people, or cultivators who became teachers to disciples from other worlds! The long-haired leader couldn’t feel any trace of deceit from Jason, and he realised that Jason might be one of those high-potential disciples that were found by an Ancestral spirit! If the great Esdath himself had scouted Jason, then Jason must have extraordinary abilities.

The long-haired leader spoke up again.

"We believe your story, but before we let you in, tell us this one thing. What was Lord Esdath’s greatest regret?"

The cultivators all went silent as they waited for an answer. They had all heard about the greatest regret from Esdath, so they knew that Esdath’s student must have also heard about it! Jason raised a brow and spoke.

"You mean Esdath’s regret of not sleeping with –"

’WAIT!!!!’

Esdath suddenly screamed desperately from inside Jason’s mind, and Jason grimaced as the scream smashed into his skull! What the fuck was wrong with this bastard!? Jason glared at Esdath in anger, and Esdath spoke up quickly!

’What are you trying to do right now, huh!? You want to ruin my legacy in front of all these young students! Don’t you dare say another word about that! My regret is that I didn’t get to see the Thousand Year Silver Moon! That is my regret! Don’t say anything about sleeping with buxom beauties!’

Jason deadpanned in disbelief when he heard this, and if it were any other moment, Jason might’ve actually laughed his head off at what Esdath just said! Jason couldn’t believe this bastard had been hiding his actual desires from all the other Eastern Mountain Sect members for all this time! What sort of Elder does that? But Jason knew that this was serious, so he decided not to fuck with Esdath this time. Jason just scoffed in amusement, and he spoke up:

"Esdath regrets never seeing the Thousand Year Silver Moon."

Eyes widened, jaws dropped, and people lowered their guard as they all stared at Jason in shock, and one of the men there immediately shouted!

"He’s really Esdath’s student! What a great day! We have a disciple of the Great Esdath with us!"

Cheers echoed across the forest as the students all celebrated Jason’s presence! The cultivators finally landed on the forest floor, and the long-haired leader came over and took Jason’s hand in a tight handshake!

"It’s an honor to meet a student of the great Esdath! We apologise for the rough treatment, but we can never be too careful with strangers! Of course you’re welcome into our sect!"

Jason smiled, and he shook the man’s hand thankfully before Jason gestured for Stella to lower her sword! Stella nodded as she sheathed the blade, and it wasn’t long before Stella and Jason were being led through the forest by the group of cultivators.

"Tell us more about your encounter with the great Ancestor!"

"Did the Ancestor tell you any stories about his ascension? We can learn a lot from his wisdom!"

"You should go visit the cave where the Ancestor died; you will gain a lot of enlightenment when you go there!"

People were talking excitedly as they tried to get Jason to tell them more about Esdath, and Jason couldn’t help but scoff in amusement when he saw this! All this time, Jason knew that Esdath had a really important role in this sect, but Jason would’ve never guessed that the idiotic intruder that lives in his Alternate Dimension was actually seen as such a great man by the people in this sect!

Esdath continued to brag inside of Jason’s Alternate Dimension while listening to all the praises being heaped on him, and the idiot became so insufferable that Jason threatened to cut off the connection if he didn’t shut up!

Behind Jason, Stella was also being grilled about her role in Jason’s life!

"Are you also a disciple of Esdath!"

"You have great physical condition! You must be a warrior as well!"

Stella shook her head, and she said that she had sworn her loyalty to Jason, not Esdath! The cultivators all seemed to become even more excited when they heard this!

"So you are a disciple of Esdath’s disciple!"

"What are you talking about!? A second-generation disciple is still a disciple! You must be a great cultivator as well!"

"Do you also wish to go through the awakening!?"

The two of them were grilled like this all through the journey as they made their way across the forest, and it took close to ten minutes of walking before they finally reached a large cliff at the end of the forest. Jason and Stella were led towards the edge of the cliff, and as Jason passed a certain threshold, he felt a wave of Qi wash over him like he was crossing a curtain or a shield. Jason appeared on the other side of the shield, and he felt his eyes widen in shock!

CAW!

A loud sound echoed through the sky as a white eagle soared over a beautiful landscape! A vibrant city surrounded on every side by mountains, with pure white clouds dancing across the air, was spread out below them! There were hundreds of thousands of people moving across the city, and the houses had been built in a way that reminded Jason of the old cultivation novels that he used to read! Tall Chinese towers surrounded by noble houses and commoner regions! The entire scenery was beautiful and rich with colour, and there were thousands of varieties of beautiful creatures flying through the air and walking through the city streets!

The people were wearing the same white robe as the cultivators surrounding Jason, and Jason could even see people floating in the air while standing on their swords! Jason realised in that moment that he was really in a murim sect!

"Welcome to the Capital Valley of the Eastern Mountain Sect. Daris over here will show you around and introduce you to the locals. In the meantime, I must announce you to the Elders so they can prepare for your awakening."

The long-haired leader of the group spoke up from behind as he began floating into the air, and all the other cultivators also took off into the air and began heading down to the city since they no longer had to guard Jason. Jason looked at the girl that the leader had assigned as his guide, and he saw that it was the same woman that had shot that arrow at him earlier! Daris had a conflicted expression on her face since she was still angry about how easily Jason had defeated her, but she accepted her leader’s order, and she bowed to Jason slightly.

"I will be your guide for today. Would you like to have a bath and a change of clothes first? Your journey must’ve been tiring."

Jason hummed in acceptance as he floated off the ground, and at the same time, Jason sent hundreds of shadows into the city to take a proper look around. Jason was glad that the cultivators accepted him so easily, but he just wanted to make sure that this city was really as peaceful as it appeared to be on the surface.

’What are you talking about? My sect would never have any hidden secrets! We, the members of the Eastern Mountain Sect, are known for our straightforwardness! If we tell you something, then you must believe that it is true.’

Esdath spoke up in defence of his Sect, and Jason just ignored him! If Esdath was right, then Jason didn’t mind at all since it would be a good thing for him, but Jason was a paranoid person, and he would rather just make sure for himself!
