Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1009: Taking Off

In this section of the transit line, every person had their own private cabin, and there was an entire kitchen where high-class chefs made meals for the travellers! The president took Jason and Stella to the cabin that was usually reserved for kings and heads of state, and he opened the door for them and revealed a lavish room with a couch, a bed, and a reading table close to a window! Jason was surprised to see sunlight peeking from the window. The transit line was indoors, so there was no way they should be getting sunlight in here.
’It has to be some sort of magic spell. Impressive.’
Stella entered the room first, and she began looking around to make sure that everything was perfect for Jason. Jason turned to the president and said.
"Thanks for the help. You can go back now."
The president joined his hands together in front of him, and he bowed his head while talking desperately.
"There’s no need to thank me at all, sir! Any friend of Queen Hesabeth deserves the best of treatments! I-If there’s anything else I can do for you, then please don’t hesitate to ask. I want to make sure your stay is as comfortable as –"
"That’s fine. You’ve done plenty. Just tell the conductors to inform us when we get to the fifth domain. That’s our destination."
The president nodded very quickly, and Jason couldn’t help but think the president looked like a scared dog that was trying its best to please its master!
"I’ll let them know! Please enjoy your stay and extend my greetings to Queen Hesabeth, our benevolent and wise leader."
The president finally backed out of the room, and the moment the president closed the door, Jason could hear the sound of screaming and shouting that echoed from down the hall!
"Bring me those incompetent fools! Bring them to me right now! Everybody’s getting fired! I’ll kill them all myself!"
Jason huffed as he turned away to see Stella looking out the window. The window had a beautiful view, and Stella smiled while looking over the massive city. Jason moved to sit on the edge of his bed, and he turned his attention towards the subordinate that had spoken to him earlier. The subordinate was one of the phantoms that Jason had asked to watch Vahala the mercenary, and she was speaking to Jason from the sixth domain.
’You said there was a message for me?’
’Yes, my king. The mercenary Vahala has been keeping an eye on the other mercenary groups around the sixth domain as you asked him to, but lately he received news that someone has been asking about your whereabouts.’
Jason frowned.
’Someone is trying to find me? Did he say who the person was?’
The subordinate said that he didn’t.
’Vahala couldn’t find out their identity, my king. He is still searching as we speak. But the mysterious person seems to have quite a lot of connections amongst mercenaries. Vahala believes it is multiple people asking different mercenary guilds where to find you.’
Jason frowned as he heard this, and he began to think. Why the hell would someone be looking for him? Wasn’t it common news by now that Jason lived on Earth? If they wanted to see him, then the first place they should’ve gone to is Earth! But then Jason’s frown deepened as a thought flashed through his mind! What if this person already knew that Jason wasn’t on Earth?
’If they just wanted to tell me something, then they could’ve just gone to Earth and spoken to Cerci or Juliet. I’ll have to find them first and see what they want.’
Jason turned back to the subordinate and instructed her to tell Vahala that he needed to find out who this person was. When Vahala finds them, Vahala needs to figure out why they are looking for Jason, and if the reason is good enough, then Jason would meet with them.
’Yes, my King. I’ll let him know.’
The subordinate went to do as she was told, and Jason returned to the present to see Stella waiting beside him patiently! Stella wanted to ask Jason something, but she noticed that Jason was in thought, so she decided to wait patiently till he was finished! Once Stella saw Jason looking at her, she quickly spoke up!
"Are you hungry, your majesty? If you’d like, I can go bring something for you."
Jason let out a calm sigh and nodded.
"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Get enough for the both of us. Let’s eat together."
Stella’s face brightened once she heard this, and she nodded before she left to do as she was told!
"Ready for Takeoff!"
Doon!
A few seconds later, a loud voice came from outside, and a massive sound echoed through the room! Jason turned to the side to see that the entire train-like structure was starting to move up! It floated up for a few seconds until it suddenly locked in place within an invisible forcefield that was pulsing with magic, and a loud whine echoed through the area like a plasma cannon was slowly charging up. Jason watched through the window with a curious gaze, and in the next moment, the transit line activated with a pulse of raw magic and shot forward like a bullet!
TWOON!
’That’s pretty cool.’
Jason couldn’t help but think this once the train took off, and Jason fell back in bed and lay down to rest as he started speaking to Esdath about what they would need to do once they got to the fifth domain. This trip was going to take a full day, so once they arrived, Jason needed to make sure he didn’t waste any time on pointless things.
Jason spoke to Esdath for about five minutes before Stella returned with their meals, and Jason joined her at the table and ate his breakfast before he started speaking to Stella about what they would be doing. According to what Esdath had told him, the Eastern Mountains were crawling with monsters and beasts that were responsible for guarding the temples of the cultivators. These beasts were all in the lower or mid-range TITAN Rank, so it’s impossible for Stella to fight them without putting herself in danger!
"They live in a Rank IV world, so the mana and pressure will be higher than you’re used to, but we’ll move through the shadows for most of the trip so we can go past any beast we encounter without fighting. If we have no choice but to fight, then I’ll take care of the beasts so they don’t hold us back. I need you to help me keep an eye out for the Eastern Mountain Temples. It’s hidden behind a magic shield, so we have to find any irregular magical densities in that area before we can find the mountains."
Stella listened very carefully to everything Jason had to say, and she nodded seriously when Jason was done! Stella already knew that the Eastern Mountains were a hidden civilization with immense power, so she understood why they had to be so careful while travelling. The Avarans had also lived in a world that was protected by millions of dangerous magical species, so this was normal!
Once Jason was sure that Stella understood how serious this mission was, he smiled and told her that she could rest until they needed to get off the train later. But Stella didn’t bother leaving the table. Instead, she decided that she would stay with Jason, and she just turned to look out the window beside her, and she watched the rapid, blurry light passing by at supersonic speed!
