Jason and Stella encountered a prejudiced High Minister named Jarane at a transit line. Stella's aggressive defense of their honor escalated the situation, leading to a confrontation with guards. Jason, seeking to avoid further trouble, contacted Gina to involve Queen Hesabeth and resolve the conflict.

Ginaw had only gone for a few seconds before she sent another message to Jason.

’Babe, I spoke to Hesabeth just now. She seemed absolutely pissed. But don’t worry, I made sure she wouldn’t say anything about your identity. She’s just going to make a few calls.’

’Alright, thanks, babe.’

Gina hummed happily.

’You’re welcome. Have fun on the trip, okay. Love you.’

Jason grinned.

’Love you too, babe.’

Jason finally closed down the connection once he said this, and at this point, there were close to ten guards standing around and trying to get him to follow them to the station! The guards were all pointing their weapons at Jason and Stella, and Stella was wielding her sword threateningly to stop them from approaching. But Jason could see that the guards were quickly losing their patience, and one of the guards took a step forward!

"We are ordering you to come with us this instant!"

Stella stepped forward as well, and the guard immediately frowned as he stopped! All the guards there were either in the SSS Rank or low TITAN Rank, so none of them stood a chance against the TITAN Rank II Stella, and that was the only reason why they weren’t using force yet! But Jason just raised his hand and spoke with a calm look.

"Just hold on for a second."

The guards all looked at each other curiously when they heard this, and one of them was about to say something, but all of a sudden, he perked up as he got a call. A magic circle appeared over his ear, and he turned away to talk to the person on the other side. The conversation started off respectful, but as time passed, Jason could see the man’s face growing whiter and whiter as the person on the other side screamed at him! There was a second where the man swallowed, and then he turned to glance at Jason before turning away again!

"S-Sir, you don’t need to come –!"

The guard was saying something, but the magic circle suddenly vanished to show that the call had ended, and Jason realised that the person on the other end was coming here! An intense pressure suddenly settled on the entire courtyard, and Jason looked up to see a man flying towards them at sonic speed! The man looked like he was going to crash into the ground, but he just managed to stop himself before he did, and he landed softly on the ground!

Jason hummed when he saw him!

The man looked like an absolute unit! He was extremely tall and well built, and there was an aura of power around him that showed that he was already in the upper level of TITAN Rank II! The people around all began to murmur once they saw him!

"It’s the President! What is he doing here!?"

"Is that the head of the city?"

"No, he’s the head of the entire country! That’s President Ulag Sturas!"

The man who just appeared was the president of the country where this city was located! Just like Earth, the world of Mionia was divided into various countries, and each of them had its own president. The country where the interdimensional transit line was located was the largest and most influential in the entire world, so it wasn’t an exaggeration to say that this man was the most powerful person in this world!

But from the look on his face, you would think that he had just seen a ghost! The president looked around for a moment until his eyes landed on Jason, and he quickly stepped forward!

"S-Sir! It’s an honor to meet you! I heard there was a problem and I came as quickly as I could!"

Shock passed through everyone there, and Jason’s smile became a little strained when he realised that Hesabeth had overdone it! What the hell did she tell this man? He looks absolutely terrified!

"I’m just trying to get on the transit line. No need to be so tense."

"Of course, sir! Please, you can get on! We’ll give you a VVIP seat and all costs will be covered by us! I sincerely apologise for any insult you might’ve received here! Please direct your anger at me instead of them! It was my negligence that led to this!"

The guards standing behind them all stepped back in fear when they saw their superior acting this way, and the High Minister who had insulted Jason and Stella at first spoke up with a deep frown on her face!

"President Ulag! You can’t really be taking the side of these Vagabonds over –"

"Shut up, you old fossil!"

The High Minister recoiled back in shock when the president suddenly screamed at her, and she felt a cold fear come over her when she saw the furious expression on Ulag’s face! Ulag looked like he was only a moment away from killing her if she dared to speak!

Ulag turned back to Jason and Stella, and he gestured for them to please come with him! He would lead them straight to the VVIP section himself! Jason hummed as he followed behind Ulag, and Stella sheathed her sword and followed him as well. But as they left, Ulag turned to give a glare to all the guards that had been standing there, and he memorized their faces perfectly! It was obvious that this wouldn’t be the end of this matter, and once Ulag came back, all the guards would face serious consequences for what happened here!

As Jason and Stella were being led towards the interdimensional transit line, Jason could feel the eyes of nearly every person on him as they wondered who he was to warrant this sort of reaction from the President! It was obvious that the scene would draw attention, and Jason was actually starting to regret asking Hesabeth for help here! When Jason called Gina earlier, he had told Gina to ask for Hesabeth’s help to deal with this, but Jason had also told Gina to tell Hesabeth that he was in disguise and he didn’t want anyone to know it was him, so she shouldn’t go overboard! But it was as if Hesabeth didn’t understand the meaning of overboard!

The group of three entered the door leading into the transit line, and Jason looked around appreciatively. It looked like Jason had just walked into one of those high-class trains. There were nobles and rich businessmen sitting on comfortable couches pushed against the wall, and there was a pathway in the middle that led deeper inside. Soft yellow light shone down from above, and the floors were covered in carpets that felt soft even through Jason’s shoes!

"Isn’t that the president?"

"What is he doing here? And who’s that man behind him? He looks like a mercenary."

"I need to talk to the president? I’ve been trying to get a meeting with him forever."

"Get in line! I have a business plan that needs approval."

The people in the train were all shocked to see the president escorting someone inside, and there were many people who wanted to go speak to the president, but the president simply gave them all a hard look, and they realised that he was not in the mood to talk to anyone! The president turned back to Jason and spoke.

"Please, come this way. I’ll lead you to your seat."

Jason and Stella followed behind him, and they were led past the area for the regular travellers and into another section at the back that was reserved for only the VVIPs!
