Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1007: I Am a High Minister!

The ultrarich travellers around the transit line gave Jason and Stella curious looks as they passed by, and Jason simply ignored them since he knew that none of them could tell who he was. If any of them knew him, then they would be having very different reactions to his presence here! There was a gate on the other side of the courtyard that had two TITAN Rank guards standing on either side, and there was a beautiful young woman with green skin and two long antennas on her head standing behind a desk that was collecting money from people and handing them tickets!

Jason and Stella walked up to stand in line, and Jason saw many of the people around them shifting uncomfortably once they realised that Jason and Stella were also going to get on the transit line. Mumurs travelled around the crowd, but there was a certain woman in front of them who spoke up with a sneer:

"These Vagabonds. How did they even get enough money to be here? I feel dirty just from being around them."

Jason huffed in amusement when he heard this, but Jason didn’t bother saying anything back to the woman. Jason knew that they needed to keep a low profile to make sure no one knew he was leaving his domain, so he didn’t mind ignoring some idiots to complete his mission! But unfortunately, Stella did not have the same amount of patience at all!

"What did you say!?"

The sound of a sword being drawn echoed through the courtyard, and everyone backed away immediately when they saw Stella’s furious expression! Stella looked like she was about to cut the woman who spoke straight to the ground, and the woman backed away while putting her hand over her chest in shock! It almost looked like the woman had never been threatened in her life, and Jason could already see some guards approaching them from the distance.

"Stella, stand down."

Jason spoke in a calm voice while giving Stella a hard look, and Stella frowned at the woman one more time before she obeyed and put her sword away!

’My King, you have a message from Vahala, your mercenary servant.’

Jason suddenly got a message from one of his phantom subordinates, and Jason frowned and asked if it was important. But the subordinate said it could wait, and Jason told the subordinate to bring the message to him later. Jason then turned to the woman that Stella had threatened and said:

"I apologise for my colleague’s action. Why don’t we just call it even?"

"You-! How dare you threaten me!? Do you know who I am!? I am High Minister Jarane of Tibet! I have direct links to Queen Hesabeth herself! I could make your life very difficult if I want!"

The woman immediately began to scream at Jason, and Jason simply raised his hand and brought it down slowly! The gesture was so simple, but it was done with an absolute authority that was more than enough to make the woman slowly quiet down as she looked at him in surprise! Jason spoke with a smile.

"I don’t think we want any trouble here. My colleague was wrong for threatening you, but your words weren’t very flattering either. Since we most likely will never see each other again, let’s just let this go."

For some reason, rather than calming her down, Jason’s calm way of talking and his easygoing attitude only served to make the woman angrier! It made her feel like Jason wasn’t taking her seriously at all! Like he was looking down on her! She was the high minister of an entire world, and this vagabond dared to talk to her like they were equals!

"Excuse me, is there a problem here?"

A guard suddenly spoke up as he came around, and Jason let out a small huff before he said:

"No-"

"Of course there is a problem! This... This Vagabond and his colleague dared to threaten me! I’ve never felt more insulted in my life!"

The guard turned to Jason with a frown, and he looked him over from head to toe! The expression on the guard’s face made it seem like he was looking at a criminal rather than just another traveller, and Jason could immediately tell that this was going to be a troublesome situation! Jason really didn’t want to have to deal with this shit!

"I’m going to have to ask you to come with me, sir. I can’t overlook your threatening one of our VIPs."

"She was the one who insulted us first. Are you not going to say anything about that?"

Stella spoke up from behind with a frown, and the guard didn’t even react at all!

"I don’t believe our VIP would cause a nuisance. She has been travelling with us for years, and she is an outstanding customer."

At this point, there were already a lot of people listening in to the commotion, and Jason could hear some of them murmuring in quiet voices as they watched the scene.

"Is there a problem in front?"

"Yes, some vagabonds threatened High Minister Jarane!"

"What? Really? Don’t they know they can be imprisoned for that?"

"Just look at them, do you think they’ll know anything about etiquette? I wouldn’t be surprised if they stole the money for their ticket."

There wasn’t a single person in there who was on Jason and Stella’s side, and Jason felt a bit of amusement bubbling up from inside him when he realised that these bastards were no different from the ultrarich bastards back on Earth. No matter where you go, people with money would always judge others based on their appearance!

’Maybe we should’ve chosen a more expensive appearance.’

Jason actually chuckled when he had this thought, and the guard that had been speaking to him frowned when he thought that Jason was laughing at him! The guard drew his sword with an angry look on his face!

"You will come with me right now! You’re under arrest!"

Stella immediately drew her own sword in response!

"Take a step forward, and I will cut you down where you stand."

Stella glared at the guard as she prepared for the attack, and the guard actually took a half-step back from the intense look he could see in Stella’s eyes! It was obvious that Stella had no problem killing him immediately! There were other guards coming toward them once they saw that things were getting out of hand, and Jason just raised a hand and told everyone to stop for a moment.

Both the guard and Stella turned to Jason in curiosity, and Jason sent a mental message to Gina.

’Hey, babe.’

’Jason! How are you? Are you still travelling?’

’Yeah, something like that. But I’ve run into a bit of an issue. I need you to do something for me.’

On the other side of the link, Gina immediately sat up in bed, and she asked Jason what was wrong. Jason quickly explained what had happened and what he needed her to do for him. By the time Jason was done, Gina understood perfectly, and there was a look of annoyance on her face as she spoke.

’If I were there, I’d have killed that woman for daring to talk to you like that.’

Jason chuckled when Gina said this, and Jason just told Gina to hurry up so he could get out of here. Gina agreed, and she quickly went to speak to Hesabeth! Jason knew that this was a bit of overkill, but he really didn’t have time to deal with guards trying to arrest him. People like these only bowed to authority, so what better way to get them to back off than to get the highest authority in their domain to reach out to them!
