SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God Chapter 803: With this all our ties are cut

The old man immediately shot to his feet. His aura erupted instinctively, causing the entire mountain to tremble. "You survived?"
Damon’s smile widened. "Disappointed?"
The old man’s eyes narrowed. He swept his senses across Damon several times. The confusion on his face only became stronger. But before he could understand anything, Damon acted. There was no need for him to waste his time here.
The old man’s eyes widened as an immense amount of pressure suddenly descended upon him.
BOOM!
His knees slammed into the ground.
"What?!"
The entire mountain shuddered. Cracks spread beneath the old man as his body was forced deeper and deeper into the stone. He roared and released everything he had. Mana exploded outward. His Dao manifested. Many powerful sword beams appeared. Several layers of defensive barriers instantly formed around him. But none of it mattered.
CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!
Every barrier shattered almost the instant it appeared. The old man stared at Damon in horror. He couldn’t understand what was happening. There was no technique. No spell. No visible attack. Damon was simply standing there.
And yet he couldn’t fucking move.
"How..."
Damon raised his hand.
The old man’s body immediately flew out of the crater and shot toward him. His neck landed directly in Damon’s palm.
Damon stared at him curiously. This was the bastard who had seemed so overwhelmingly powerful only a short while ago. Now?
He was ridiculously weak.
Damon hadn’t even touched his Origin Core. He hadn’t used a skill. He had merely exerted some pressure with his newly transformed body and soul.
The difference between them was no longer a gap. It was an entirely different level of existence.
The old man seemed to realize the same thing. His face rapidly lost color. "You... ascended?"
Damon tilted his head. "Sort of."
The old man’s pupils contracted. "No. Impossible. You were merely B-rank! Even if you somehow reached A-rank, even if you broke through several—"
"God."
The old man stopped.
Damon smiled. "I became a God."
The old man’s mouth slowly opened. For a moment, he looked almost comical. Then he laughed. "Hah..." Another laugh escaped him. "Hahahaha!" The old man’s laughter became increasingly frantic. "Impossible! Do you take me for a fool? A God? You?"
"Really? Weren’t you after my powerful bloodline?" Damon shrugged. He was not interested in wasting any more time here. At the same time, his fingers tightened.
"Argh!" The old man’s laughter immediately turned into a scream. He stared at Damon’s cold eyes as crimson tendrils exploded from Damon’s arm and wrapped around his body.
"What is this?!" The old man struggled desperately. His Dao erupted again. His soul energy surged. Every treasure on his body activated at once.
It made absolutely no difference. The tendrils pierced through everything. Soon, he became nothing more than a lifeless husk.
For several seconds, Damon simply held the withered corpse in his hand. Then he released his grip. The body crumbled into gray dust before it even reached the ground.
Damon glanced at his palm. Compared to devouring the Goddess, consuming the old man had been like drinking a drop of water after swallowing an ocean.
"Are you satisfied?" The fairy again appeared in front of him.
Damon chuckled. "What? This? This is nothing. How petty do you think I am? Say... what about those rewards?" He answered vaguely and started another teleportation. This time his destination was none other than the Crimson Mountains in the dark faction continent.
As soon as he arrived, the fairy appeared as well.
"Don’t tell me..." She did not look pleased. Before she could say anything, Damon started his work.
RUMBLE!
The earth shook, huge fissures appearing. The entire Crimson Mountain Range trembled violently as if some colossal creature buried beneath it had suddenly awakened. Countless monsters fled from their caves. Boulders rolled down the mountainsides. Deep cracks spread across peaks that had stood untouched for thousands of years.
The fairy’s expression immediately darkened. "Damon."
He ignored her. His divine senses swept through the entire mountain range in an instant.
Before, this place had been enormous to him. There were countless hidden caves, underground passages, sealed spaces, monster nests, secret realms and formations scattered throughout the mountains.
But now, nothing could hide from him. His consciousness passed through stone as though it didn’t exist. Every living creature, every formation, every treasure, every hidden chamber appeared inside his mind.
However, he did not come here for any of this. He came here for one reason and only one.
Blood.
Blood erupted from beneath the earth in towering geysers, shooting hundreds of meters into the sky before hanging there unnaturally. It did not fall back down. Instead, every single drop remained suspended in midair.
Within seconds, the sky above the Crimson Mountains turned red.
Damon slowly raised his hand. The rivers of blood answered.
BOOOOOOM!
An enormous crimson tide tore its way out from beneath the entire mountain range. Ancient formations hidden deep underground flickered into existence one after another, desperately trying to contain it. They lasted less than a second.
CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!
One formation after another shattered. The mountains themselves began collapsing as more blood surged upward. It was everywhere. Beneath the peaks. Beneath the valleys. Beneath the monster nests. Beneath ancient ruins that had existed since long before the current batch of players entered Earth Online.
An entire subterranean ocean of blood had been hidden beneath the Crimson Mountains.
Damon clenched his fist. The remaining seals exploded simultaneously. Then abruptly all of the blood rushed towards him at the same time.
A huge crimson vortex formed around him. It stretched from the shattered mountains all the way into the clouds, swallowing every river of blood that erupted from beneath the earth. The sheer quantity was absurd.
The Crimson Mountains had accumulated blood for countless years, and now a single vampire was devouring all of it.
The fairy stared at the scene with an increasingly ugly expression. "That is enough. Anymore than this and I would have to take some actions from my end."
Damon remained calm and continued devouring every last drop of the blood. He only stopped when the final streams of crimson disappeared into his body. The last river of blood rose from the deepest fissure and vanished into his palm.
The enormous vortex disappeared. The crimson sky cleared. Silence fell over the Crimson Mountains. What remained was almost unrecognizable.
Peaks had split apart. Valleys had collapsed inward. Enormous fissures stretched through the mountain range, exposing underground caverns that had remained sealed for countless years.
Damon slowly lowered his hand. He closed his eyes. Inside his body, an absolutely ridiculous quantity of blood churned violently. If he were still B-rank, he probably would have exploded a thousand times over trying to contain even a fraction of it.
But now the blood simply circulated around his Origin Core. It was as if there was a separate space within his body. It was similar to the soul space he previously had but this one was incomparably huge. It was vast and endless as if it was a world in itself.
Then it suddenly struck Damon. Could it be?
The world that the snake lady adamantly refused to let him enter whenever he asked and safe guarded as if it was something extremely precious to her... could it be?
Snapping him out of his thoughts, the fairy spoke again. "You wanted a reward for your achievements and now you have claimed it yourself. Leave before you force my hand. Your time in this world has already ended."
Damon looked at her and smiled. "What is the rush? There is still just one more friend I need to visit." He teleported to the heart of the abyssal corruption next.
The fairy again appeared next to him. "I know why you are here but you are already late. The person you are seeking for has left this world already."
"Oh?" Damon raised a brow.
"She left as soon as you entered this world again."
Damon sneered. What a cunning woman! It was fine. It was not as if he was hell bent on taking revenge. There were bigger things at stake at the moment. He came here for the blood and since that was successful, it was time to leave.
"Fine. I’m leaving."
The fairy visibly relaxed.
"But before that..."
Her expression immediately hardened again. "What now?"
Damon smiled. "I just have to take care of some personal matters. Nothing that should affect your world too much." He once again teleported and this time he appeared in the Great Western Desert.
Alzara’s father immediately rushed to greet him and as soon as he saw Damon, the old man looked utterly stupefied.
Damon did not want to get into everything right now. So he simply asked. "Would you like to come with me? You can bring whomever you want with you. It doesn’t matter how many people."
The old man stood frozen still for a few seconds before he finally recovered. He then nodded in a daze and took out an insignia. A rune on top of the insignia activated and the next second thousands of people assembled behind him.
The Emperor looked a little uncertain if this was going slightly overboard but Damon did not really care. He casually willed for the people to enter his origin space and they all disappeared inside.
Damon had tested out his inner space a little and he was able to instinctively modify many aspects of it. It didn’t take long for him to create another desert-like atmosphere for these people to thrive in.
In fact, he decided to go with his idea and willed for his inner space to manifest in the form of a world. There he created a separate continent for these people. With this done, he then teleported once again to the next spot.
This time it was the elves. How could he possibly leave this place without his wife’s family?
"Are you done yet?" The fairy impatiently asked.
"Just one last stop."
Damon then teleported to his main base, the Blood Hall. Varnyx’s familiar face greeted him. "My Lord..." He bowed politely. At first look it seemed as if he was calm and collected, not at all shocked by the new development but his entire body was trembling from top to bottom.
"Do you wish to follow me beyond this world?" Damon simply asked.
Varnyx immediately collapsed straight to the ground and prostrated himself. "My Lord! This servant will follow you anywhere!"
Damon nodded. "Assemble everyone who wants to follow me. We only have a couple of minutes."
Varnyx scrambled to his feet and disappeared before Damon could say another word. The entire Blood Hall immediately erupted into chaos.
Bells rang throughout the territory. Blood-red formations lit up across the fortress. Vampires rushed out of cultivation chambers, workshops and underground halls. Within seconds, Damon’s order had spread to every corner of the faction.
Damon did not interfere. He simply floated above the Blood Hall and waited.
Two minutes wasn’t much time.
But apparently, it was enough.
One figure after another appeared in the enormous plaza beneath him. Hundreds became thousands. Thousands became tens of thousands. Some carried weapons and spatial rings. Others came with absolutely nothing.
There were vampires, blood servants, craftsmen, alchemists, merchants, soldiers and even several monster companions.
Damon’s eyebrows rose slightly as he noticed all of the main vampire noble families assembled. Hinata was standing amongst them. Damon gave her a quick nod and then immediately willed for all of them to be transferred to his inner space.
He created another new continent for them just as he had done for the western desert people and the elves. Deciding to deal with the rest later, he took one last look at the world and then at the fairy.
"Now I am done."
The fairy’s impeccably beautiful face twitched. "Are you sure?"
Damon did not have any time to answer her. He found himself standing back on the cracked dead grounds of Earth. "With this all our ties are cut." The last words of the fairy hung in the air.
