Damon has fully consumed the Goddess, absorbing her Origin Energy and completing his divine transformation. This act causes her Divine Mark to vanish completely, alerting powerful ancient beings in the cosmos. A high-ranking God, who had sent the Goddess to Earth, discovers her fate and dispatches subordinates to investigate and capture Damon, who he believes is connected to a prophecy.

After the chaotic storm, an eerie calm finally settled over the world.

For the first time in what felt like forever, there were no explosions. No divine pressure crushing the heavens. No abyssal storms raging across the land. No screams of a dying God. There was only silence.

Damon remained suspended in the air, his clothes torn to shreds and his body covered in dried blood. The thousands of crimson tendrils surrounding him slowly dissolved, turning into tiny droplets before sinking back into his body. The golden symbols disappeared along with them.

THUMP.

Deep inside him, the newly formed Origin Core pulsed once. Damon stiffened. Then nothing happened. The tiny golden star continued to rotate peacefully as though it hadn’t just devoured the very existence of a God.

"What a fucking day..." Damon exhaled and looked around.

Only now did he truly see what remained of Earth. The sight wiped away whatever satisfaction he had felt.

The world beneath him was devastated. Entire regions had been swallowed by abyssal corruption. Cities had disappeared. Mountains had collapsed. The oceans were still violently churning from the aftereffects of the Goddess’s divine power. Massive cracks stretched across the land for hundreds of kilometers.

And though Damon had managed to absorb enormous amounts of abyssal energy, plenty still remained.

To make things worse, the condition only seemed to be deteriorating every second. By now a huge crater had formed all around him with void rips popping up everywhere.

Some were barely a few inches wide. Others stretched for kilometers. Behind those cracks was nothing. No darkness. No abyssal energy. Nothing.

Damon stared at one of the larger rifts as pieces of shattered earth silently disappeared into it.

"Master... we need to leave now. Otherwise what is left of your world will be lost forever. This star system is simply not capable of withstanding your mighty presence." La Rocha bowed deeply and extended two scrolls.

"What is this?" Damon asked. He noticed the change in the bastard’s attitude but he had far too many things going on right now to care about that.

"Master, the first scroll will help you contain your presence and aura. The second scroll is for teleportation to a major world hub where you will be able to reside for as long as you would like without being discovered. This will give you some time to hide your presence and plan for the future."

Damon indifferently took those scrolls, and learned them. The parchment incinerated into wisps of light indicating that the skills have now been amassed.

The next second, the crushing presence leaking from his body folded inward layer by layer. The invisible pressure distorting the surrounding space vanished first. Then the strange pull exerted by his Origin Core disappeared. Even the crimson-golden brilliance within his eyes gradually dimmed.

Within seconds, Damon looked almost exactly like he had before. The tiny golden star within his Origin Core still rotated silently, but not a single strand of its power escaped.

"Well, that’s convenient."

La Rocha’s lips twitched. "Master, that technique is far more than convenient. Even among the Divine Realms, concealing Origin is..." He suddenly stopped and changed his words. "Yes Master, that is indeed convenient."

The two of them then continued to stand there silently for a while. Finally, La Rocha asked, "Master, do you need any help with teleportation?"

Damon did not answer. Instead, his gaze was locked onto the tattoo on his wrist. Only a small faint marking was still remaining. That too it looked like it was going to disappear any second now.

Damon took another breath and then unexpectedly activated the mark. La Rocha raised his brow in surprise. He couldn’t understand. They should be running and hiding right about now before armies after armies start arriving for the newly born God. Instead what was he doing?

Damon entered the tutorial world and was instantly greeted by the same fairy, the administrator. It was the same woman whom he had seen minutes ago but now everything had changed.

Shock and disbelief were written all over the fairy’s face as she gawked at Damon. For several seconds, she simply stared.

Her gaze moved from his face to his body, then finally settled somewhere deep within him, as though she could see straight through his flesh and into the tiny golden star rotating inside his existence.

The smile she always wore was gone. "You..."

Damon raised a brow. "What?"

"Impossible..." Her eyes widened further. "You formed an Origin Core."

"Yup. I am a God now. How about it? Don’t I get some sort of achievement or reward or something?" Before she could answer, Damon casually opened his system interface and started teleportation to his castle.

Just as Damon suspected, the fairy could not stop him. Damon grinned. He did not bother entering the castle because that was not the reason he was here. He closed his eyes and let out a deep breath. His sense swept across the entirety of the ’Earth Online’ world.

At first it was a bit difficult for him to get used to but his mental strength had already increased by leaps and bounds so it was no longer agonizing. He was even able to casually flip through the information.

"Found you." Damon only had to use a little bit of energy and the next moment he stood in front of a tall mountain. The mountain was isolated and serene and there was a huge sword scar on the side.

More importantly, inside the mountain, the person he was looking for was calmly meditating.

"You turned my entire world upside down and you are peacefully meditating?" Damon sneered. He teleported right in front of the damned old man who had started this whole thing.

The old man gasped as he sensed the spatial fluctuation directly in front of him. His eyes snapped open. "Who-" He froze.

Damon stood barely a few feet away, arms crossed, staring down at him with a cold smile. For several seconds, neither of them moved. The old man’s expression gradually changed. "You?"

"Miss me?"
