SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God Chapter 769 No mana?

Damon's fists clenched reflexively. The ground beneath him cracked again.
A deep rumble spread across the devastated battlefield as his aura expanded outward, pushing away dust, shattered slime remains, and loose debris for hundreds of meters.
"Ah…!" He sucked in a breath through clenched teeth. The change wasn't comfortable. It was violent but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle. He silently closed his eyes and meditated, taking in as much as he could.
A few minutes later a system notification flashed in front of him.

Damon glanced at his status screen. There were a couple of new titles and his level was now 540. He had officially stepped into the B rank. His stats and his health had also improved overall but he was far from being done. He could feel it. His body was hungry for more. He could take in more stats, a lot more and he had plenty in spare. The 100,000 listed was just what Blood Reign was holding for him. He had already isolated many and kept aside. This was the plus point of having blood avatars. Even when he was doing nothing, his avatars were on the clock working non-stop.
"Okay, now let's add another 1000 stat points in all the attributes." Damon mentally prepared himself as he once again tapped into his reserves and absorbed another chunk of stat points.
Crimson veins briefly flared across his arms as the stat points poured into his body like liquid fire.
His Strength increased first. The air around him trembled as invisible pressure spread outward. Even standing still, the ground beneath his feet began sinking slightly as his body grew heavier with raw power.
Then came Stamina and Vitality. His heartbeat thundered like a war drum. Every pulse of blood through his veins carried immense force, each beat spreading waves of energy through his muscles and bones.
And finally, the moment the stat points settled into his mind, Damon's consciousness expanded again. Now he was really feeling the vastness of the new stage he was in. It was painfully clear how weak and vulnerable he had been as a C rank. Even a million C ranks stacked together could never stand up against a B rank.
The difference was simply too huge.
After the next stat dump, he went for one more and then one more. In the blink of an eye he ended up dropping about 150,000 of the stat points accumulated. He had a lot more stored in vials but he decided to stop with this for now.
Damon slowly exhaled as the last of the stat surge settled inside his body. The violent tremors in his muscles gradually faded, replaced by a terrifying sense of stability.
Power.
Pure, overwhelming power.
He could feel it flowing through every fiber of his being. His hands were itching to test the extent of it. However, he would have to wait for that.
Damon looked around at the wasteland. This was not the place to test his power. The slime world had already been drained dry. The billions of creatures that once covered the planet were now nothing more than brittle crimson residue scattered across the landscape. It was already a dead world.
Damon slowly rolled his shoulders. The movement alone caused the air to tremble faintly. He exhaled and suppressed his aura slightly. The crushing pressure surrounding him slowly condensed back into his body like a tide withdrawing from the shore. Even then, the ground beneath him continued to groan under his weight. Damon's gaze lifted toward the sky. Somewhere out there, across the vast multiverse, the rest of his bloodline fragments existed. Each one a potential enemy. Each one a stepping stone. It was time to look for his next target. His bloodline was still insignificant. He needed more. He needed to become stronger than the rest of them. He needed to devour them before they devoured him.
He was not foolish enough to think that his actions today would have gone unnoticed. He had officially joined the race and now there was no turning back.
Damon closed his eyes.
The crimson thread network appeared in his mind again.
Millions of glowing lines stretched across the endless darkness, connecting him to countless distant points scattered across different worlds. He once again focussed on weaker threads. There was no point in spending time on this. He had no idea what was waiting for him on the other side. It was best to pick quickly and make a move.
He only tried to see if there was a weaker bloodline cluster like the one he had picked before for a similar scenario but no such luck. He quickly picked one. His blood avatar had already packed up everyone back into his soul space. He was as ready as he would ever be. Taking a deep breath, he activated the teleportation skill.
Damon felt the same weakening as before despite his increased stats when the world around him darkened. The next second he found himself somewhere completely unexpected, a small town with ordinary people walking all around him. A world devoid of even a small drop of mana.
Huh? Damon was confused but he instantly activated [Stealth], his brief flicker of presence vanishing before anyone noticed. The people walking around the street continued moving, completely unaware that something terrifying had just appeared in their midst.
Damon stood silently at the center of a narrow cobblestone road.
Small wooden houses lined both sides of the street. A few market stalls sold fruits, vegetables, and simple metal tools. Children ran between the buildings while a pair of elderly men argued loudly over the price of grain.
Damon frowned slightly. A painfully ordinary human town?
That was unexpected. One would expect someone possessing a primordial bloodline, even a fragmented one to be anything but ordinary, perhaps some hidden monster, a powerful expert, or perhaps a tyrant ruling over this world.
But this place?
It looked like a farming town that barely deserved a mark on the map. Damon slowly walked forward, his presence completely erased by [Stealth]. His footsteps made no sound as he moved through the street like a ghost.
A horse cart rattled past him. A woman shouted at a child for stealing fruit from a stall. A blacksmith hammered lazily at a horseshoe.
Damon's primordial senses expanded outward, sweeping through the entire town. He was not missing anything and this was not some sort of elaborate trap. It was truly a simple town without a single trace of mana. Yet the bloodline thread was unmistakable.
