SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God Chapter 768 Bloodline Extraction Upgraded

Damon's blood aura erupted like a burning sun, burning away any gelatinous tissue that attempted to enclose him. The crimson core inside the creature trembled violently, radiating as intense pressure.

However, it was not enough. Damon reached forward and yanked the thing straight out of the slime. He could feel the blood essence throbbing inside. Blood aura enveloped his hand as he crushed it in a single motion.

The slime all around him reacted in a frenzy, trying one last time to put up a defense. The moment the crimson core shattered in Damon's hand, the entire battlefield erupted into chaos. Every remaining slime on the planet surged toward him.

Billions of gelatinous bodies suddenly rushed inward like a tidal wave of living flesh. The ground trembled violently as the slime ocean collapsed toward the epicenter where Damon hovered.

The broken bloodline essence inside the crushed core exploded outward like a storm of crimson threads, each strand trying to escape his grasp and return to the slime network.

"Oh no, you don't!"

Damon willed as a massive vortex of blood energy erupted from his body, devouring the escaping fragments before they could scatter.

The surrounding slimes crashed into the crimson vortex one after another, their bodies instantly disintegrating as their blood essence was forcibly extracted and dragged into Damon's body.

The entire slime ocean began collapsing inward.

Aurora and the others watched from the distant castle walls as a colossal spiral of crimson energy rose into the heavens like a demonic tornado.

The sixth whistled softly. "Looks like that monster found another treasure! Lucky bastard!"

Hmmm? Aurora turned to give him a sharp look.

"Aha ha ha. I meant lucky master." He quickly corrected. Back at the center of the battlefield, Damon's eyes glowed like burning rubies. The broken core in his hand dissolved into pure bloodline essence, pouring into his body like molten power.

For a moment, his entire figure was swallowed by crimson light. The ground beneath him cracked. His aura exploded outward, flattening the remaining slimes for kilometers.

Inside Damon's body, the fragmented primordial bloodline surged violently as the newly absorbed fragment merged with it.

Pain exploded through his veins. His muscles tightened. His bones creaked under the pressure of the transformation.

Damon clenched his teeth. "Come on…"

The blood inside his body roared like a raging ocean as the ancient power tried to reshape him from the ground up.

For several seconds, the entire planet trembled under the pressure of his awakening. Then the crimson vortex slowly faded.

Damon floated silently above the devastated battlefield.

Below him, the endless slime ocean had completely collapsed. What had once been billions of slimes was now nothing more than a massive field of dried crimson residue.

Damon slowly opened his eyes. A system notification appeared in front of him.

Ding! [Bloodline Fragment Successfully Absorbed]

Ding! [New Bloodline Ability Unlocked]

Ding! [Bloodline Extraction Upgraded]

Damon raised a brow. So, did he gain a new ability or not? The slime wasn't all that powerful so he did not have huge hopes, but he still thought something would happen. "Well, I guess it at least got upgraded. Alright. Time to see what the new upgrades are."

He spotted a slime aimlessly moving in the distance and sent a blood bullet to decimate it. Its blood essence instantaneously flowed into him.

Ding! [Bloodline Extraction successful]

Ding! [Skill Digest has leveled up]

Ding! [You have gained +10 Intelligence]

Damon blinked. "What now?" There was no way he could have gained 10 intelligence stats from a single slime! In fact, the slime probably had a maximum of 10 intelligence stat to begin with. Also, that slime he killed was E or D rank at best. There was no way it gave him 10 stats at the same time. Weaker, lower leveled beings typically gave out very few stats, one or two at most. As he was thinking this, he suddenly froze. Then it struck him.

"Wait a second." He looked for another slime and found it in a second. He then decimated that too, absorbing its blood essence.

Ding! [Bloodline Extraction successful]

Ding! [You have gained +12 Intelligence]

"Fuck ya!" Damon howled in excitement. It was just a random thought. There was no way it should be possible but he was correct. He was 100% correct. He did not just absorb some stats from the slime, he had absorbed all of it! That had to be it!

That was the only way he could gain these many stats from a slime!

This should be his new bloodline ability, his upgraded bloodline extraction skill!

So he should now be able to get all the stats, maybe for just intelligence or maybe for a random stat from the blood essence for a being he killed!

If his ability before was overpowered, then this was completely insane. Now that he thought about it, perhaps it was just the intelligence stat.

This whole set up with the slime controlling the whole world and with its blood essence jumping and hiding among the weaker slimes, forming a whole network to run and hide, was a bit too complicated for a slime.

He had fought with the damn thing. It was not that bright. It did not have many complicated dao skills. Yet it was able to survive until now and quietly build itself into something.

This should all be possible only because of its intelligence stat. The slime had slowly devoured the intelligence stat of all of the other slimes and developed its mental ability to such an extent.

Damon sucked in a big breath. To devour the entire mental ability of another being! What an absurdly ridiculous ability! To think that he would now be able to do this! He gulped. He couldn't even fathom something like that.

Intelligence was not a simple stat. To improve one's intelligence meant improving everything related to the mind. Mana manipulation. Comprehension. Memory. Processing speed. Even the ability to grasp complex Dao concepts.

Damon slowly looked down at the blood essence swirling around his hands."...This is ridiculous."

All things considered the ability was not that overpowered. Sooner or later he would have filled those stats anyways by using his basic bloodline extraction ability but this sped things up by a lot. Right now time was everything for him.

Also, now that he had stepped into B rank, it was time to see just how many stats his new and improved body could hold.

Damon summoned his status screen. He should have done this the moment he entered B rank but he did not want to rush anything. He had stepped into something entirely new. He felt that he needed to understand his body and his dao core first before he tried to pump himself full of stats. Besides, he did not want to test his body's equilibrium.

Not that he knew what that equilibrium entailed. It was an intuitive feeling. He had felt that his body was at its best so he went with it. Also he had saved up adding those stats as a special surprise for his opponent to land an unexpected attack and create a chance if needed.

In the end, he did not use any of that. He had stepped into the outside world and even met his first opponent. He did not want to delay things anymore. He wanted to at least buff himself a little bit more before moving onto his next blood brother.

More intelligence points was good but he was far from satisfied. His bloodline was still very much incomplete and he was pretty sure he did not even possess a decent fraction of it. There was still a long way for him to go.

"Little red" Damon called out.

"Yes, my liege." Blood Reign answered, excitement bubbling in her voice.

"Be ready. Monitor things and let me know the moment you sense something wrong."

"Yes, my liege." The weapon spirit obidiently replied.

"Alright, let's start with first adding 1000 stat points in each attribute."

Damon closed his eyes and focussed. He could feel power flowing into his limbs. His muscles tightened instantly, fibers condensing and strengthening as if thousands of invisible hands were reforging them from the inside. His bones creaked under the pressure, the marrow blazing with crimson energy as his blood absorbed and distributed the incoming power.
