Kael's draconic aura overwhelmed the battlefield, forcing many to retreat. He then engaged a powerful corpse girl, whose strength impressed him. After easily overpowering her, Kael turned to the necromancer, Necrogod, who stood resolute despite his exhaustion. Kael, wanting a worthy future opponent, ordered Necrogod to leave, but he refused. As Kael prepared to strike, a mysterious red phenomenon stopped him.

A sea of red appeared in front of Kael. Endless crimson mist spread across the battlefield like a silent ocean. The violent momentum of Kael's punch suddenly slowed, as if the world itself had thickened.

Then the mist parted, and a figure stepped forward.

Kael's eyes lit up even as an overwhelming pressure threatened to crush him. "You! You are here, finally! Ba ha ha ha!" His laughter echoed across the shattered valley.

The crimson figure did not answer. Damon walked forward slowly. His crimson eyes swept across the battlefield once before settling on Kael.

Behind Damon, Necrogod remained standing silently beside the blade of grass.

Kael rolled his shoulders, golden light crackling across the draconic scales covering his body. "I knew it," he said, grinning wildly. "There was no way you would miss something like this."

The phantom dragon behind him lowered its massive head, staring down at Damon with hostility.

Damon stopped a few steps away. His gaze shifted briefly toward the blade of grass. Then back to Kael. "So you have a draconic bloodline."

"Not just any draconic bloodline. I am the 34th true draconic overlord." Kael grinned and corrected him as if it were no big deal. "What can I say? Things got interesting, so I had to reveal my identity." He cracked his knuckles. "Besides, this trial was getting boring. I was just gonna smash it and dash." His slit pupils gleamed with excitement. "But now…"

Golden aura surged violently around him. "Now it finally feels worth it." The ground beneath his feet shattered again as his draconic bloodline roared to life. "Come on," Kael said, raising his fists. "All those treasures were merely a time waste. This right here is an actual precious treasure. Who is going to get it? You or me? Let's goooo!"

Damon did not react. He coldly gazed at the golden blur coming straight for him. Kael's punch arrived like a falling star.

Golden light tore across the battlefield, the draconic phantom behind him roaring as the sheer force of his charge shattered the air in front of him. Anyone watching would have believed the entire valley was about to explode.

Then Damon's hand moved. He simply caught the punch. Then the ground beneath them imploded.

A massive crater burst open as the shockwave ripped through the valley, flattening everything for hundreds of meters. Dust and debris exploded outward like a violent storm.

Kael's eyes widened in shock. His fist… had stopped, simply caught in Damon's palm. He stared at the hand holding his strike, disbelief flickering across his face before a wild grin returned. "Ha..."

Golden lightning crackled across his scales as he pushed harder. The ground beneath Damon fractured deeper, the immense force trying to crush him into the earth.

But Damon did not move, not even an inch.

Kael laughed. "You dared to stop a true draconian's attack with your bare hands! You think you can match me in raw power?"

His draconic aura erupted violently as his strength increased again, scales spreading further across his arms and shoulders. A confident glint appeared in his eye. His other fist shot forward like a cannon.

Damon's crimson eyes flickered slightly. His other hand rose. The second punch stopped as well. Now Kael was frozen between Damon's two hands like a raging storm trapped between two walls.

For a moment they simply stared at each other. Then the crimson mist behind Damon suddenly surged. Kael immediately moved but it was already too late. Blood chains erupted from the ground.

They burst out of the shattered earth, crimson links twisting and snapping through the air with terrifying speed. In the blink of an eye they wrapped around Kael's arms, legs, and torso, locking him in place before he could fully react.

Clang! The chains tightened instantly.

The ground groaned under the pressure of Kael's draconic strength as he tried to move. Golden lightning exploded around his body. The phantom dragon behind him roared loudly as Kael's bloodline power surged violently.

For a moment it looked as if the chains would shatter. Cracks spread across the crimson links but the next moment they were repaired and became even stronger.

Kael grinned. "Hahaha! You think you can hold a dragon with chains?"

His muscles swelled as golden scales spread further across his body. The earth beneath him sank several inches as he forced his strength outward. The chains trembled.

Then Damon moved. The crimson mist surged around him like a rising tide. A spear appeared in his hand. It did not look special but Kael's gaze turned serious as he felt the pressure coming from the spear. His grin faded and his slit pupils narrowed. His draconic aura surged again.

Golden lightning crawled across his scales as he flexed his arms against the blood chains. "Hah…" His grin returned. "So this is your real weapon." The phantom dragon behind him lowered its massive head, ancient eyes locking onto the spear.

Kael tilted his head slightly, excitement blazing in his slit pupils. "Blood Dao? You already managed to step into the next realm in such a short time? You are a madman, aren't you? Come! I am ready to take you on! You are not the first B rank I am facing."

Damon did not say anything. He simply moved the spear forward. The entire sea of crimson behind him collapsed inward. Thousands of blood streams converged into the weapon like rivers falling into an abyss. The pressure exploded.

Damon then thrust the spear pointblank. Everyone gulped. Many simply used their tokens and exited the event by teleporting out of the world. The attack was so powerful that it felt as if the entire world was going to be destroyed by the single attack.

Kael roar in defiance. Golden lightning erupted violently across his body as his draconic bloodline roared in response. The phantom dragon behind him spread its wings and let out a furious roar.

The next instant the blood chains snapped apart as he forced his arms free with sheer brute strength. Scales spread across his chest and neck as golden power surged through every muscle. His clawed hand shot forward.

Dragon claw met spear.

The moment they touched, the world broke.

BOOOOOOM!
