Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2490: Not just one (3)

When I came back to my senses, I didn’t approach the desk right away.
Instead, I started looking around the room and looked at the different books that were scattered around.
I was trying to find something that would explain what this place was and who it was that had once lived here.
It was just that I didn’t find anything like that.
That didn’t mean that the books that were in this room weren’t special.
I didn’t fully understand what was written in these books since these were special books designed for cultivators to read. But I was able to figure out a few things based on the clues that I was able to pick up.
It wasn’t just cultivation techniques, but also alchemy, refining, and even array formations. All of these things were far more advanced than the things that I had seen in the game.
Whoever had lived here clearly had high attainments in all of these fields, but this certainly wasn’t something that one person could have attained alone.
There was only so much time that one could spend to learn all of this and unless they were a monstrous genius, it was impossible for them to learn all of these skills.
"Did they split it up with the others? Or did even the kids learn these things?"
No matter how I thought about it, it didn’t seem to make sense at all.
First, the kids that lived here were clearly too young based on the toys that were scattered around. It was unlikely that they were at the age that they were able to learn such things.
Second, it wasn’t as if they would have built all those different studies if they were to share these things among themselves.
So it meant that this was clearly something that belonged to one of the families that lived here.
In the end, I had no choice but to come over to the table to see the items that were on it.
The items that were there were just normal items when it came to relics, but it also showed that they were indeed people that could use these books.
"A cauldron, a pen, and a hammer. So they really were cultivators that cultivated a side profession."
Though they cultivated a side profession like this, they had still been able to break through and ascend as immortals. So in the end, there had to be something special about them that allowed them to do so.
"Is that a journal?"
It was something that I missed earlier since I was focused on the three relics that were on the table. Now that I was looking at it closely, I could see that it was a journal that was written by the one that this room belonged to.
"So they were from the upper realm."
As soon as I read the journal, the questions that I had were answered.
After all, only those that already came from the upper realm would be able to cultivate like this under these circumstances. If they weren’t already from the upper realm, it really was hard to believe that all of them would be able to ascend together.
Though as I kept reading, there was a wry smile that appeared on my face.
"In the upper realm, a trip down to the lower realm is considered a vacation? They brought their child down here to experience the world before heading back to the upper realm..."
It did explain why they had chosen to build this cave residence instead of living in one of the sects or even in a city.
Since they were from the upper realm, it really would have been hard for them to remain in a place where they were watched all the time. It was better for them to live in a place like this and explore when they wanted to.
"The Tong Tian Upper Realm."
It really was a proper name for an upper realm, the way that it even looked down on all those that were beneath it.
So this was the upper realm that was connected to this cultivation world.
Since they were from the upper realm, it made much more sense that they would be able to disappear like this all of a sudden. For the people of the upper realm, they didn’t care about the things that they left behind in the lower realm at all.
Which was why they most likely just left everything behind like this.
After learning that the people that this cave residence belonged to came from the upper realm, I looked at the books that were scattered around this room. Without any hesitation, I started putting them away so we could look through them later.
I didn’t understand what was written in them, but I knew people that would.
Since they were things that came from an upper realm of the cultivation world, there was no need to doubt just how much knowledge was contained in these books.
As for the three relics, there was a part of me that didn’t want to take them.
These were relics that were left behind by those that lived in the upper realm, so there was no telling if there was anything different about them. They might even have some kind of tracking on them that prevented others from doing anything to them.
"If I take these now, will I be creating enemies in the upper realm?"
Thinking back to how I had already created enemies with other gods, I really didn’t want to keep creating enemies like this.
But it would be a waste if I didn’t take these relics with me...
"Let’s take a look at the other rooms first."
Since there were others that lived here, did that mean that they all came from the Tong Tian Upper Realm as well?
If that was the case, then it might be easier for me to make these enemies.
After all, it was easier to talk to a group than to an individual.
