I wasn’t surprised when I felt the familiar energy coming from the other study room.

Since they had disappeared as well, it was only normal that they would be from the upper realm as well. It only made sense that they would have ascended as immortals as well.

Which was why there would be these immortal energy relics that were left behind.

Though looking around the study, I was surprised that it was filled with all kinds of different books just like the previous one. I thought that there would only be a few things in this place, but it seemed like the owner of this study had filled it up with techniques as well.

When I started reading through the techniques in this books, I couldn’t help taking out the books from before. Holding them side by side, I could see that there was a large difference between these techniques.

Though they used the same basic knowledge, the deeper parts of the book contained knowledge that were completely different. It seemed like these were completely different techniques from the ones from before.

But from what I could see, I could tell that this wasn’t a technique that was at a lower level compared to the ones from before. It seemed like this was a high level technique just like the other one.

"They’re from the same upper realm, but they come from different lineages?"

That was the only thing that I could think of that would have explained it.

It wasn’t as if there would be a single faction even if it was an upper realm, so there would be other factions that would exist in the same upper realm. This second family was most likely from a different faction from the first family that owned the other study.

Reading through the books, I could see that they possessed quite a few techniques as well.

Since that was the case, there really was no reason to leave these things behind.

After all, they would be just as useful as the other books that I had taken from the first study. They would be used to help advance the techniques that we possessed in our kingdom.

Once I finished gathering all of the books, I turned back to the immortal relics that were on the table.

Looking at them, I was thinking about whether I should take them or not.

Since it was a different faction, it wasn’t that simple.

After all, taking this might mean offending two factions of the Tong Tian Upper Realm.

When the time came, I might even cause the entire Tong Tian Upper Realm to come after me because of this.

So I couldn’t help hesitating on whether to take it or not.

But while I was hesitating, I couldn’t help noticing that there was something else on the table.

A wry smile appeared on my face when I saw this thing since it was the exact same item that I had seen in the other study room. But the fact that there was this same item meant something.

"Do they have a habit of leaving behind journals like this? It’s not very likely..."

The fact that both of these study rooms had these journals meant that they were most likely deliberately leaving behind these journals. And if they were deliberately leaving behind these journals, they naturally meant for people to find them.

If they wanted people to find them, then they would naturally want people to read them and take away the things that they left behind here.

"Those that know that they are ascending do act differently from those that don’t know. They even know to leave behind this kind of inheritance for anyone that finds this place."

At the very least, it meant that whoever these immortal relics belonged to wouldn’t mind if I were to take them. In fact, they had even left them in a place like this so it would be easier to find.

The only thing that I was curious about was, "Why did they want to leave these things like this? Is it because they wanted to bring the ones that found this place into their factions when they reached the upper realm?"

In a way, it was almost like they were using this place to recruit future members of their factions.

After all, it certainly wasn’t easy to reach this place.

Those that were able to reach this place would no doubt be talented people that would be able to ascend one day. Or at least that would have been the case if it was a normal cultivator that found this place.

But since I was the one that found this place...

"I hope that we can talk things out in the future..."

Still, at least this meant that I would be able to take away these relics which was a good thing.

The problem was that these relics would still be linked to the ones that left them behind in the upper realm. So if Max were to destroy them like he wanted to, then it would become a problem...

"Maybe if we accidentally chip it?"

That was the only thing that I could think of before shaking this thought out of my mind.

I turned my attention to the journal that had been left here since I wanted to learn more about the factions of the Tong Tian Upper Realm.

The previous journal hadn’t mentioned anything, so I was hoping that there was something here.

"Xuan Tian Upper Realm? What is that?" My face filled with shock when I read this information.

Then I started flipping through the journal in hopes of finding something else, but there was no mention of it at all. From beginning to end, the only thing that this journal mentioned was the Xuan Tian Upper Realm.

There were no traces of the Tong Tian Upper Realm in this journal at all.

"This doesn’t make any sense at all, they should both be from the Tong Tian Upper Realm!"
