I didn’t know what to expect, but this certainly wasn’t what I had been expecting.

They didn’t even say anything as I entered the room. They just looked at me as if they were waiting for me to explain myself.

So in the end, I had no choice but to tell them what I had encountered.

Though I did leave out a few details regarding my past life out since that wasn’t something that I had discussed with them yet.

When I was done, it didn’t seem like they had any reaction to what I said.

Instead, Rose just simply asked, "Have you dropped off the items yet?"

I was surprised to hear this, but I gave a nod to confirm this before looking at her with a slightly confused expression. I just couldn’t understand what it was that Rose or any of my other wives wanted when they asked this.

In the end, it turned out that they were asking this because they wanted to discuss where the items would go.

For that, they asked me to provide a list to them for everything that had been dropped off. It was something that I naturally had, but it seemed like Max was completely focused on what I had left with him that he forgot to submit this.

After reading it, it seemed like they had differing ideas about how to use these things.

It was just that while they were discussing this, it didn’t seem like they were letting me in on the conversation at all.

In fact, it was as if they were completely ignoring me as they were having the conversation all on their own. The only thing that I could do was awkwardly stand there while wondering what I should do.

After all, I had come here with the expectation of being scolded by them and it didn’t seem like they were going to do that.

So I had no choice but to stand there on the side while they just discussed this without even looking at me.

"Why did they even call me if they were going to give me this cold shoulder?"

But while I was here, I couldn’t help feeling a bit strange about the plans that they had.

"Something that can be used to bind someone completely so that they can’t even move an inch?"

"Something that would cause discomfort to those that it was attached to?"

"Something that would make one uncontrollably turned on?"

They didn’t even try to hide it with this last one, which really made me feel even more awkward.

It was clear that everything that they were currently discussing was related to how they were going to punish me. The things that they were planning to develop were all things that would be used on me.

But even so, it wasn’t as if I could do anything other than listen to them.

In the end, it seemed like they did shift their tone as they seriously started discussing how they were going to use these things. It was just that this conversation also had an ulterior motive.

"They’re trying to guilt me..."

The way that they discussed this matter was as if they were trying to prove something.

Listening to them, I could tell that what they were doing was telling me all of the things that I had missed during this time.

It seemed like they were trying to guilt me with all of the things that I had tossed to them.

Though in the first place, it wasn’t as if I would have been involved in most of those things since they would have been handled by the prime minister and the chancellor. At most, I would have just shown my face as part of the ceremony and nothing more.

But they were doing this to use all kinds of different methods to attack me.

So in the end, it wasn’t as if there was anything that I could say in response to this.

Once they were done, it seemed like they weren’t satisfied as they started talking about another subject. It was just that this time, the subject was completely different from the past two subjects.

Instead of talking about work, they were talking about something that was far more personal.

"Did you see her walking the other day?"

"No, it’s a really big shame that I missed something so important."

A bitter feeling filled my heart when I heard this, but it wasn’t as if there was anything that I could say.

In the first place, they agreed to let me do this since it was for the good of not just our family and kingdom, but the entire world. But since I had broken the rules, all of that went out the window as they used everything to attack me.

I just couldn’t say anything since I really was a negligent father when it came to helping raise our children.

I didn’t even get a chance to take out my gifts since I didn’t get the chance to see them or even have the chance to say something. So in the end, I could only watch as they continued discussing our children and shared tips with each other.

This entire process took several hours before it seemed like they were satisfied, but I knew that it wasn’t that simple.

The real reason was that they had run out of time since they were busy people to begin with. The fact that they were able to get this time to come and do this meant that they had worked quite hard to segment this time from their schedules.

But even as they left, it didn’t seem like they were done with their punishments.

It wasn’t the fact that they left me there without a single word that I was afraid of.

It was the fact that they all looked at me as if they were saying something while they were leaving.

"Just you wait."

That was the look that was in their eyes.

"But what else can they do to me?" I couldn’t help thinking to myself in a bitter voice.
