A flight cancellation forces Dexter and his mother Victoria to accept a ride from Aunt Maya on her private plane. During the car ride to the airport, Maya's suggestive attire and proximity make Dexter uncomfortable, while Victoria confronts Maya about her relationship with Dexter. Dexter attempts to ease the tension by suggesting Victoria and Maya become sisters, which Maya vehemently rejects, causing further awkwardness.

I didn’t actually feel any real pain from the pinch, but I still put on a smug little smile and looked straight at Victoria. The expression made her cheeks flush a deeper pink. She immediately nudged me hard with her elbow, clearly annoyed.

I pretended to lose my balance from the push and tipped sideways toward Maya. My upper arm pressed firmly against the soft, full curve of her breast through the thin fabric of her red dress. The warmth and softness of her body registered clearly for a brief second.

Maya let out a small, startled sound, her voice soft and slightly breathless.

"Aah..."

I quickly sat up straight again, putting on an innocent, apologetic expression as if the whole thing had been an accident.

"Aunt Maya, are you okay? I’m sorry... I lost my balance for a second."

Maya’s face had turned a soft pink. She shook her head slightly, avoiding my eyes for a moment.

"It’s fine, Dexter... really."

Victoria’s voice cut in from my other side, sharp with irritation.

"Sit straight, Dexter."

I caught her thoughts clearly, laced with both anger and resignation.

At the same time, Maya’s own thoughts reached me, more confused than angry.

The car continued driving and soon entered the private runway area. A sleek private plane was already waiting on the tarmac, engines idling quietly. Rachel stood near the bottom of the boarding stairs, tablet in hand, waiting for them.

Maya opened the door and stepped out first, the high slit of her red dress shifting with the movement and briefly revealing more of her long, tanned thigh.

I followed her. Victoria went out through her own side of the car, her expression once again composed and elegant. The three of us walked up the steps and boarded the plane without further delay.

Inside the cabin, an air hostess approached with a polite professional smile.

"Please fasten your seatbelts. The plane will be taking off shortly."

She moved between the seats and helped secure the belts for each of them. Rachel and Maya sat together on the left side of the cabin, while Mom and I took the pair of seats on the right, facing them across the narrow aisle.

Once the plane had successfully taken off and reached cruising altitude, the seatbelt sign switched off with a soft chime. Maya turned toward me, genuine curiosity in her eyes.

"What kind of business ideas do you have, Dexter? Are you planning to start something new of your own?"

I shook my head, keeping my tone casual and a little self-deprecating.

"Aunt Maya, I’m not as capable as you or Mom. I don’t have the same drive for business. I just want to relax and enjoy life for now."

Maya looked clearly surprised by the answer. Her eyes flicked toward Victoria, who was quietly smiling to herself. I read Mom’s thoughts in that moment.

Maya’s thoughts turned more complicated and slightly guilty.

She leaned forward slightly, her tone becoming firmer, almost earnest.

"No, Dexter. You can’t think like that. There are so many things young people can do... ideas and opportunities that we older people can’t even imagine. You have to trust yourself more. Don’t give up before you’ve even started."

I smiled at her.

"Aunt Maya isn’t old at all. She looks young... and beautiful."

Maya’s eyes lit up for a brief second at the compliment, but she immediately glanced at Victoria, clearly watching for her reaction. Her voice carried a hint of playful testing.

"Am I? You’re just trying to make me happy, aren’t you?"

"No," I said honestly, meeting her gaze. "I’m telling the truth. Don’t you think so, Mom?"

Victoria blinked, caught off guard by being pulled into the conversation so directly.

"...What?"

I repeated the question with a faint teasing edge, fully aware of the effect it would have.

"Don’t you think Aunt Maya is young and beautiful?"

Victoria looked at Maya. Maya was clearly waiting for the answer, her expression hopeful despite her best efforts to keep it neutral. After a short, tense pause, Victoria gave a slow, almost reluctant nod.

Maya’s face brightened instantly. The small, genuine smile that appeared on her lips made her look even more striking in the soft cabin lighting.

I stood up from my seat and excused myself with a polite smile.

"You two chat for a bit. I’ll go to the washroom."

I walked down the short aisle, opened the lavatory door, and locked it behind me. Inside the small, private space, I took out a specialized magical tool from the system storage.

With a thought, I transformed it into a tiny spider-like robot, no larger than a coin, equipped with advanced crawling abilities and a set of nano-bombs that could be detonated remotely.

Sitting on the closed toilet lid, I opened the live map on my phone. The plane was currently flying over open ocean. Only a few small, uninhabited islands dotted the vast blue expanse below — the perfect stretch of empty sea for what needed to happen.

I guided the spider robot out through a narrow ventilation gap and directed it through the plane’s internal ducts with precise control.

It moved silently until it reached the main engine compartment. There, the robot carefully placed a single nano-bomb in a critical location and armed it with a five-minute timer. Once the task was complete, I recalled the robot, transformed it back into an ordinary-looking ring, and returned it to system storage.

I flushed the toilet for appearance’s sake, washed my hands thoroughly, and stepped back out into the cabin as if nothing unusual had occurred.

I returned to my seat beside Mom and settled in calmly, the five-minute countdown already ticking silently in the background while the plane continued its smooth flight over the empty ocean.
