Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2427: Visions of corruption (2)

"It probably developed this on its own."
As I looked at the fight between the large robots and the corruption energy, I could confirm that it was proper divine energy that the robots were wielding.
It was weaker than the corruption energy, but the restraining effect that it had was not something that could be faked.
So in the end, there was this balance that appeared between the robots and the corruption energy monsters.
Even if the corruption energy monsters could revive themselves, it wasn’t as if more and more robots couldn’t be formed. Which was why there were endless robots that replaced the ones that were taken down.
It really had become a fight of attribution at this point, but I knew that the corruption energy wasn’t simple.
Even if the core processor of the robots could keep creating robots, it wasn’t as if they had endless materials. As for the corruption energy, it could always break down more matter to form more corruption energy, so it really was endless.
In the end, the robots couldn’t keep pushing back the corruption energy and had no choice but to go all out. But this was really a last resort since once it was used, it wasn’t as if there was anything else that could be done.
All of the robots shot out canisters from inside of their chests that landed in a circle around the corruption energy.
It was the same thing as before, but it was also different since there was divine energy being infused into the barrier. With this divine energy, it was able to stop the corruption energy tide from charging forward.
But all of the robots that had fired the canisters fell to the ground.
Even the ones that followed had no choice but to drop their canisters as well in an attempt to stabilize the barrier.
There was one robot that was approaching that really shouldn’t have been approaching as it was surrounded by other robots. This was most likely the main processing unit of the robot army that had come out.
It was personally coming out to see what the corruption energy was like, but it was clear that the others were trying to get it to leave.
Once the main processing unit saw the corruption energy, the first thing that it did was raise its hand.
The robot that the main processing unit inhabited was just a simple one, so it didn’t have anything special in it. But the moment that it raised its hand, there was this divine energy that was gathered around it.
"So it really was able to figure out how divine energy worked and created its own path. It must be resonating with the corruption energy to see if there’s a way to make the divine energy stronger."
Even if corruption energy and divine energy were different, corruption energy was technically divine energy as well. After all, it was the divine energy of the God of Destruction, a special form of energy known as destruction energy.
It only made sense that the main processing unit would be able to figure something out from looking at the corruption energy since it was similar, but there was only so much that observation could do.
It was clear that the main processing unit wasn’t satisfied with this alone and wanted to get closer to the corruption energy, but this time the robots didn’t allow it to approach. Instead, the robots even went out of their way to form a defensive line in front of the main processing unit.
With the way that they formed this line, it was as if they would die just to hold it back.
Whatever their programming was, it really was quite strong that they would act this way.
In the end, the main processing unit also recognized that this was too dangerous for it.
Though the main reason was because there was something coming from the main part of the corruption energy. It seemed like there was something that was about to come out of the main part of the corruption energy.
The robots had no idea what it was, but I couldn’t be more certain.
"It’s actually an Apostle of Destruction."
This one was much weaker than any Apostle of Destruction that I had seen so far, but there was no doubting that it was an Apostle of Destruction. Even if it was weaker, it was still stronger than this main processing unit.
For a moment, it seemed like the main processing unit was thinking about attacking the Apostle of Destruction. It wanted to take down the Apostle of Destruction before it could completely form and take back anything that it dropped.
But that plan soon disappeared when the Apostle of Destruction started to move.
The main processing unit knew that it was out of time, so it didn’t waste any more time in this place as it left within the robot guards.
As I followed it, I found that there was this main building in the center of the city.
This was the main base of the robot army and it had already built a spaceship for its escape. This wasn’t something that could be built in a day or two, this was something that had been built a long time ago.
"So it was already planning on invading other planets..."
My guess had been right about the robots, they had run away from the corruption energy and had formed a separate colony on a different world. Or it was better to say that they invaded another civilization with their powers.
But that still didn’t explain where the corruption energy and the divine energy came from.
"Divine energy can be obtained as long as one reaches the end of their path and corruption energy exists naturally, so this must be something that must be happening in all kinds of different worlds."
I could learn from this, but I still didn’t understand why I was being shown this by the one who created this place.
