Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2428: Visions of corruption (3)

The ending was expected.
Once the core of the robots left the planet, there was nothing to control the remaining robots.
At the same time, it wasn’t as if the remaining robots could do anything against the corruption energy when they possessed no divine energy.
In the end, it was a one sided affair as the corruption energy finished swallowing everything that was on this planet.
After it was done, the planet itself was turned into corruption energy before it collapsed in on itself. The corruption energy didn’t spread outwards and it collapsed in a way that made it seem like it was attacking each other.
For corruption energy that was supposed to seek out more living creatures to break down and turn into corruption energy, it was strange when it started attacking itself like this.
"Is it the distance?"
Even if there were other planets in this solar system, it seemed like they didn’t target them because there was nothing of interest there. As for planets with life, there was nothing like that as far as I could tell with my divine sense.
So it seemed like when the corruption energy didn’t sense anything that it could attack, it actually collapsed in on itself and attacked each other like this.
Is it because there were traces of matter that were inside of the corruption energy that it wanted to break down even more?
Regardless of what it was, I didn’t get to see the rest of this as the scenery changed.
In the blink of an eye, I was in a completely different place.
However, it wasn’t as if I didn’t recognize this place either.
"So now it’s the fate of this world? But this world is actually supported by a god, so it should go differently, right?"
This was the world of the rock creatures, which meant that there was the god Morak behind them. As long as there was a god behind them, they should be able to draw out divine energy to fight the corruption energy.
Not far away from where I had appeared, I found that there was already corruption energy that was gathering.
This wasn’t really that surprising since the whole point of these visions was to show me what happened when the corruption energy appeared in these worlds. So it was only natural that I would appear where the corruption energy appeared in these worlds.
It also didn’t take long for the rock creatures to find the corruption energy.
I thought that since the corruption energy had appeared above the ground and away from the habitat of the rock creatures, it would have taken them a while just to find it. But it turned out that there were things above ground that were designed to detect these things.
It really made me wonder why they didn’t flag me as soon as I appeared.
Was it because I was a completely different lifeform or was it because they had already seen something similar before that they didn’t deem me a threat?
But that didn’t matter right now as I watched the rock creatures fight against the corruption energy.
Nothing that the rock creatures did had an effect on the corruption energy monsters that were coming out of the corruption energy. However, it did seem like they had some kind of natural defense against the corruption energy monsters.
It seemed that they were able to peel off layers of the rock that made up themselves before the corruption energy spread too far. That was just the advantage of being a race that had disposable parts like this.
So in the end, they were able to delay the spread of the corruption energy.
But in the end, there really wasn’t anything that the rock creatures could do when the corruption energy spread like this. Even if they wanted to fight, they didn’t have a weapon that could restrain the corruption energy.
"Why isn’t Morak showing itself?" I couldn’t help wondering when I saw the rock creatures fight like this.
The more that I watched the rock creatures throw themselves at the corruption energy like this, the more certain I was of one thing.
"It doesn’t know how to fight against the corruption energy monsters."
If Morak knew how to fight against the corruption energy monsters, then it wouldn’t be sacrificing the rock creatures like this. Even if there was only a trace of divine energy given to each of these rock creatures, then it would have been a much more productive fight.
Since it didn’t know what to use to deal with the corruption energy monsters, the only thing that Morak could do was hide away like this.
A god that didn’t even care about its followers...
It seemed like in other places, the gods just didn’t care about the ones that followed them. Other than making the dominant race and allowing them to worship, it didn’t seem like they cared at all what happened to their followers.
In a way, it was almost as if the followers were nothing more than items to these gods.
It was strange to see the difference between gods, but I knew that there were all kinds of gods that were out there.
When the wave attack didn’t work, it seemed like the rock creatures could no longer keep fighting the same way. There were only so many of them and there were already so many that had been thrown at the corruption energy monsters without avail.
So in the end, it wasn’t as if the rock creatures would just keep throwing themselves at the corruption energy monsters.
Even if they wanted to, it wasn’t as if Morak could allow them to keep doing this.
There was a limit to how much cannon fodder it could give up to the corruption energy monsters. Once that reached a certain point, it would start running out of followers to give it power.
So in the end, it seemed like Morak had been pushed to the limit.
