It turned out that I really was some kind of prophet.

After all, the next room was completely different from every other room that I had been in on this hidden floor.

Instead of being a wide open space like the other rooms, this was a small room that only had a few things in it.

One of them was just too big to ignore and it was standing right there in the center of the room. It made it very clear that this was a boss and it wasn’t just any normal boss, it was most likely the final boss of this hidden floor.

Seeing this boss standing there, I couldn’t help turning back and wondering, "What was all of that for?"

But regardless, it was a good thing that I had made it to the end of this hidden floor.

After all, this journey had really taken a long time.

I had no idea just how long it had taken since it wasn’t as if I could see outside the dungeon, but I had an idea based on my internal clock and the clock that I had created to keep time.

It had been around a month since I had entered this hidden floor.

The one good thing was that at least I knew that nothing had happened on the outside since they didn’t contact me with the special method that I had prepared. As for whether it would still work, I naturally had my own ways of confirming this.

But there was a part of me that wasn’t looking forward to how they would act when I came out of this place.

There was no doubt that my wives would have some kind of punishment for me for going missing for this long.

Still before I could think about any of that, the first thing that I had to take care of was the boss that was in front of me.

From the large figure that it had, it was clear that it was some kind of large beast. But looking at it, I couldn’t really figure out what kind of beast this was since it was completely dark.

It wasn’t that there was no light in this place, it was more that this beast was completely black. It was so black that it even seemed to draw in all of the light that was around it.

It was as if the figure was swallowing all of the light that existed in this room, which made it hard to see what kind of thing this was.

Looking at it, it even felt like this thing was completely covered in corruption energy with how dark it was. But I knew that this wasn’t the case since I didn’t feel a single trace of corruption energy coming from this figure.

"What even is this thing?"

Since I couldn’t figure out what this thing was based on its appearance alone, the only thing that I could do was try to scan this thing with divine energy to see if there was anything that I could find.

It was just that the moment that I used the divine energy, the figure that was in the center of the room stirred.

"It can actually sense the divine energy?" My brows knitted the moment that I saw it standing up.

Since it had reacted, there was only one thing that I could do.

Converting all of the divine energy in the air, I created several swords that shot out at the figure in the center of the room.

But the moment that this figure stood up, it revealed the large stature that it possessed. At the same time, it revealed just how thick its skin was as it bounced off all of the swords that I shot at it.

None of the swords were even able to make a single dent in the skin of this creature.

I didn’t panic as I started controlling the space with my domain.

These swords had been created in haste, so it wasn’t as if they were the strongest ones that I could create. I still had time before the figure did anything, so I could still gather stronger swords before it attacked.

It was just that this was all futile as the swords were bounced off that thick skin.

"This creature is a creature that can even sense divine energy, so I knew that it wouldn’t be that simple. But how can it resist the divine energy swords like this?"

Those swords were created out of the strongest material that I could imagine, so it wasn’t as if they were weak. They should be more than enough to pierce most things in this world.

But even if I didn’t believe it, I had no choice but to accept it when it was right there in front of my face.

Since the swords weren’t working, I had to figure out another way to deal with this thing.

Which was why instead of using the swords that I normally used, I instead used different kinds of attacks.

Flames, ice, rock, and all kinds of other attacks rained down on the figure of the beast, but it didn’t seem like a single one of them had any effect at all.

These were attacks that were enhanced with the power of my divine energy, so it wasn’t as if any of these attacks were weak. It was just that this thing’s skin was much too thick for me to break through it.

It even felt like there was something that was protecting the skin of this creature, making it so that I couldn’t penetrate through it. So it didn’t seem to matter what I was attacking with, it just didn’t work at all.

"No matter what, it must have some kind of weakness." I said with a sigh which showed that even I didn’t believe my words, but it wasn’t as if I could just give up.

Which was why I started attacking desperately.
