Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2422: Hidden floor (43)

"No, this isn’t working."
"It even got repelled before it could reach it."
"I don’t know what I was even expecting."
I kept muttering under my breath as I watched the results of the different attacks that I released hitting the skin of the monster. It was just that no matter how many different things I tried, it didn’t seem to have an effect at all.
Though I already knew that it was unlikely that anything would work since I was just acting out of desperation, I had hoped that one would have done something and given me a clue.
"This thing shouldn’t be immune to everything..." I was even a bit amazed at just how strong this thing’s skin was.
But it was a problem that it was immune to everything.
"How do I leave if I can’t take care of this thing?"
After all, this thing was clearly the final boss of this hidden floor and if I didn’t take it down, then it wasn’t as if the exit would appear. Dungeons like this only revealed their exits once the boss was defeated.
As I kept using different methods, this pressure was getting stronger and stronger.
It really felt like I wouldn’t be able to do anything to this creature even if I tried every method that I could think of.
If there was some kind of special method that was needed, I really didn’t know what it was since I hadn’t been able to replicate the things that I had encountered in this place.
But it was at least a good thing that this beast wasn’t that fast.
This beast had been chasing after me once it got up, but I was able to keep ahead of it with my speed.
In fact, it didn’t seem like this beast had any form of long range attack with the way that it continued to chase after me. It seemed like the only way that it was able to attack was using its body to do a physical attack.
At least the gods had been fair when creating this beast.
Even if it had a powerful defense, it wasn’t as if it had an equally powerful method of attacking.
"This thing, it’s a behemoth, isn’t it?"
I was able to figure out what this beast was in the end since it was something that had appeared in the game before. Though I couldn’t help thinking of how difficult the behemoth in the game had been to deal with.
The only way to deal with the behemoth in the game was to use a special method to seal it away.
The behemoth had the same kind of tyrannical defense as the one in front of me right now. But the problem was that I didn’t have that method of sealing the behemoth away with me right now.
I had to figure out a way to break through the defenses of the behemoth in front of me if I wanted to leave this place.
It really seemed like there was no hope at all until...
"Is that a scratch?"
This wasn’t something that I was certain of at first, but then I became more and more certain of it.
As I looked closely, I found that this was indeed a scratch that had appeared on the skin on the behemoth. The problem was that I had no idea what it was that had caused it, so I had no idea what I should use against this thing.
In the end, I had no choice but to go through all of the things that I used once more.
But I found that none of them were able to leave the same scratch that had been on the behemoth’s skin.
"You’re kidding me? Is that something that was left there previously?"
Only I quickly tossed out that idea since it was impossible for that to be the case.
If it was something that spawned in this place, then it would have been spawned in perfect condition. It was something that had been created by the dungeon completely new, so there wouldn’t be any past damage.
But I also wasn’t able to figure out what it was that was hurting this thing.
"There’s something that I’m missing, but I just have no idea what it is..."
In the end, the only thing that I was able to figure out was that it was some kind of combination. That was the only thing that made sense since it wouldn’t have been anything else that would have worked.
Which was why I started combining different attacks with each other.
"Finally, I found it..." An exhausted tone was in my voice as I muttered this.
It really had taken too long for me to figure this out, but I finally found the combination that did it.
It turned out that it was quite the simple one.
"It’s just fire and ice...really?"
I never thought that a simple temperature difference would be enough to cause an injury to this kind of legendary beast. But thinking about it, it shouldn’t be that simple of a temperature difference.
After all, what I was using were flames and ice made from divine energy.
Divine energy itself was a powerful form of energy that surpassed all other forms of energy, so using it to create flames and ice would mean that powerful flames and ice would be formed.
It could even be called some of the most powerful flames and ice in the world.
So it did make sense that this temperature difference would have an effect on the behemoth.
But I soon found that it wasn’t that simple.
"It’s not having the same strong effect as before. It seems to be weaker for some reason."
It wasn’t as if it wasn’t working, it was just that it didn’t cause as large of an injury as it did previously. It was as if there was a part of the puzzle that was missing from this.
