Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2420: Hidden floor (41)

The rampage continued as I hunted down several other area bosses.
But in the end, the same thing happened where a voice suddenly appeared.
It wasn’t as if I was surprised that there was this voice that appeared, it was just that I was caught off guard by the tone of the voice.
"How...how did you find this place?"
The timid tone of this voice and the words that it said really didn’t suit the status that it possessed at all. This was the exact reverse of the last god that I had met.
But then again, it wasn’t as if every god was the same.
This was something that I had experience with since I had already met all kinds of gods in the past. I knew that every god had their own personality which was usually dependent on the attribute that they represented.
When it came to this god, I couldn’t help thinking of one thing.
"It’s insecure enough that it created a form of energy that only its followers could use..."
Perhaps this was the kind of god that liked to hide away and avoid causing conflict.
In this case, wouldn’t I be the bad guy since I was the one that was technically invading it?
"No, it isn’t me. It’s the one that created this hidden floor that invaded."
That was the excuse that I gave, but I knew that it wasn’t as if I could escape full responsibility from this. I was the one that had led the charge and the slaughter in this place.
But then again, this was only a small part of their world that had been copied over.
So it wasn’t as if it would have damaged the foundation of their domain.
If that were to happen, it wasn’t as if the god would be here talking to me like this.
"Who are you?" I calmly asked the bipedal creature surrounded in divine energy.
"You’re the one invading and you’re asking me who I am?" The indignant reply that came was only natural.
After all, this was technically correct.
But it wasn’t as if I was going to let the other side get to me as I calmly waited for a response.
Seeing that they didn’t say anything, I raised my hand and gathered a few swords around me.
As expected, the effect of this was quite good as they actually raised their hands as if they wanted me to stop and they even took a step back as if they were afraid that I would do something.
This god really had quite the timid personality, but it wasn’t as if it was completely submissive.
In the end, this was still a god.
"Alright, there’s no need to be this fierce. We can talk this through."
That was the extent of how much it seemed to be willing to back down, but it wasn’t as if it was saying what I wanted to hear yet. Which was why I narrowed my eyes to look at the god, while also putting pressure on it.
Seeing this, the god finally said, "I’m Idon and this is my world."
Though it was only two simple statements, there was a lot of information that was behind it.
As expected, this god wasn’t willing to reveal too much about itself to someone that it considered a stranger. But this was more than enough information for me since I hadn’t been expecting anything in the first place.
"Is that so? That’s good to know."
Idon looked like it was stunned when it heard this before its face twisted in a strange look and it said, "How can someone act like this?"
Of course, I didn’t care about what it was thinking.
After all, I wasn’t planning on giving it any information at all.
The other side was a god in the end and even if it was a timid god that liked to hide, it was still a god.
Letting a god know too much about me was dangerous, which was why I didn’t care at all what it was thinking about how I was acting.
I still waited a second to see what it would do and if it would let slip even more, but it seemed like it wasn’t going to say anything else.
It seemed like this trick would only work on this god once.
Which was why I just waved my hand and sent the swords out at the bipedal creature covered in divine energy.
It seemed like they tried to fight back with the way that they raised their hands, but it didn’t really matter as the swords were more than enough to penetrate their attacks. Even when enhanced with divine energy, my swords were just much stronger than their attacks.
"How is this even possible?" Idon also seemed surprised when its defenses were penetrated, but the key thing was that it reminded me of how that other god had acted.
It seemed like there was something about the divine energy that I possessed that made them this surprised.
Only it didn’t get to say anything else as the swords penetrated through its vessel.
The same thing happened where there was something that restrained Idon in the end, which allowed my swords to penetrate through it even more easily. It was as if there was something that had stopped Idon before it could reveal anything else.
I looked at the pile of loot on the ground with a complicated look, but it wasn’t as if it mattered.
After all, I was still far from being at the level where I would be able to do anything about this.
If there were other forces that were at work here, then I was nothing more than a small cog that was caught up in something that was much bigger than myself.
Which was why the only thing that I could do was keep moving forward and focus on what I had to do right now.
"But just how long is this hidden floor?"
