"Who are you?"

I stopped the moment this voice rang out.

When I heard this voice, I couldn’t stop the strange look from appearing on my face. It was hard for me not to let out this strange look with how strange this voice was.

However, it wasn’t as if I didn’t recognize this voice. It was because I recognized this voice that I knew how strange it was.

Perhaps I would have been the only person in this world that would have recognized this voice. After all, the concept of a synthetic voice like this just didn’t exist in this world.

It was like those AI voices that were used to dub over those shorts I used to watch.

Hearing this ’familiar’ voice really was jarring with how long I had spent in this world.

But at the very least, this confirmed one thing for me.

"So there is an artificial intelligence controlling this place."

Instead of answering the question that this AI posed, I calmly asked, "Who are you? Isn’t it common courtesy to introduce oneself when asking for identity like this?"

There was no answer that followed after I said this.

It almost seemed like the AI was processing what I was saying to it. Only it didn’t seem like it was taking this positively.

So seeing that there was no response, I flicked my hand and sent the swords forward.

The moment that the swords started moving, that was the AI voice rang out once more.

"What reason do you have to attack?"

But I didn’t stop the swords from moving forward when I heard this.

"As expected, it really was stalling for time."

I had no idea what was happening inside of the base, but there was no doubt that things were moving on the inside. Whether they were trying to repair things or they were activating some kind of secret weapon, it really didn’t matter.

There was nothing that they could do to stop me from wrecking their base.

When the swords cut through the walls, I was able to see a bit of what was happening inside.

It was exactly as I suspected, there were many different parts inside of this base that were moving. It seemed like they were indeed preparing something to use against me, but that was ruined by the swords that cut through the base.

There was a part of me that hesitated at first seeing as how I wanted to take parts of this base back with me, but I figured that was impossible in the end. After all, there was nothing that I recognized about this place.

Even if I wanted to carve the base apart to take with me, I had no idea what would be worth taking. Not to mention that there was no telling if there would be some kind of virus or something else added to these things.

So I came to the conclusion that it was best to tear everything apart.

"Human, how do you have this power?"

This wasn’t a question that I had been expecting to be asked. I couldn’t help looking at the base in front of me with a strange look.

Then I slowly asked, "Am I the first of my kind that you’ve seen before?"

"Yes, you are a unique specimen."

There was a part of me that really didn’t like the fact that I had been called a specimen, but this wasn’t the important thing. The important thing was that what this AI just said confirmed that the humans that once lived in this place were normal humans like in my past life.

If the God of Creation was the one that built this hidden floor, what was this room based on?

Was it just something that the God of Creation came up with or was there more to this?

After all, it really felt like there was more to this robot empire than meets the eye...

"What reason do I have to tell you?" I calmly stated back to the AI.

"You...you’re the one talking about courtesy earlier."

I was surprised that the AI actually broke the mechanical way that it had spoken to me previously. It seemed like this AI was capable of learning more than just how to wipe out humans, it seemed like there was a part of this AI that was even a bit human.

Since I wasn’t answering its question, it seemed like the AI lost interest in me.

Instead, there were robots that started running in different directions from this base. From what I could see, they were running in the direction of the other bases.

"Did I knock out whatever network they were using to communicate with each other?"

It wouldn’t be strange if that was the case since I had already ripped up quite a large chunk of this base. It would already be amazing if there were parts of this base that were still functioning.

Still, it wasn’t as if I was going to let the robots reach the other bases that easily. If they were being sent to the other bases, then the most likely possibility is that they were being sent there with information.

It was likely that I had knocked out the communication network early, so they weren’t able to send any information from our conversation to the other bases.

It really was best that they had as little information as possible or else there was no telling what they would do.

Which was why I sent the swords to chase after the robots that were running away.

I wasn’t planning on letting even a single one of them escape from me.

Not to mention that every robot that was cut down dropped loot for me to pick up.

I just couldn’t let all of this loot escape.

"Are you still there?" I asked while not expecting anything.

As expected, there was no response that came from the AI.

It had long disappeared from this place, though the part of it that was here was no doubt just a fragment of the whole.

I couldn’t help wondering what I would see when I attacked the other bases.
