The protagonist confronts an artificial intelligence controlling a hidden base. After destroying parts of the base and questioning the AI's nature, the protagonist realizes the AI is a unique specimen. Robots begin fleeing the base, and the protagonist pursues them to prevent them from reaching other bases, all while collecting loot.

"They really are going all out." I couldn’t help shaking my head as these words escaped from my mouth.

It really was hard to ignore all of the robots that were coming at me.

It wasn’t just a single robot boss that was here, there were a bunch that had gathered together at a single base. It seemed like they were all coming together to crush a certain someone that was going against them.

Of course that certain someone was me.

But even if they gathered all together like this, it wasn’t as if they were able to do anything to me.

The fact that they gathered up like this actually made it easier.

Instead of having to track them all down one by one, it was certainly easier to wipe them all out at the same time.

It didn’t matter how many weapons they pulled out, there wasn’t a single one of them that was actually able to reach me. The swords that flew out from my side didn’t miss at all, all of them flew true as they pierced through all of the missiles that came at me.

Even the robots that were hiding on the ground under the explosions of the missiles weren’t an exception to this. The swords that penetrated through the missiles actually went down to the ground to penetrate all of the robots that were there.

It didn’t seem like there was anything that the robots could do to even lay a scratch on the swords.

Which was why it didn’t take long for all five of the boss robots that had gathered together to be cut down by these swords.

Near the end, there was a familiar voice that rang out.

"Why are you doing this? What do you gain from this?"

Hearing this, it wasn’t as if I could explain the concept of a dungeon to this AI.

It would be hard for the AI to understand that it was nothing more than a fake that had been created by a god in a different world. It had been created as a training opponent for me.

If the AI were to hear this, it would be hard to imagine what kind of reaction it would have.

There was a part of me that even thought that it would malfunction as a result of the scale of this answer.

So I just continued sending the swords out to wipe out the robots that had gathered.

Once all of the robots had been wiped out, I waited to see if there would be more that came to help. However, it seemed like the AI that was controlling the robots had realized that it wasn’t able to do anything to me.

The more robots that it brought together, the more losses it would suffer.

At this point, it even seemed like the robots were trying to avoid me.

I could see that in the distance, there were robots that were watching over this area. They were prepared to move the moment that I did, as if they were prepared to set up things that would prevent me from reaching another base.

I didn’t leave right away as I continued looking at the base, waiting for something to happen.

I was hoping that the AI would at least be willing to talk to me properly now that I had destroyed all of these robots under its control. I was hoping to get some information from it since it was the only thing that could talk in this dungeon.

After a while, there was this robot that came out of the base.

In terms of appearance, it looked the same as the other robots that I had fought previously.

The only difference with this robot would be the way that its eyes glowed.

But from those glowing eyes, I could feel this different sensation.

It really was as if there was something that had completely changed with the robot.

"So you’re the one."

The moment that this was said, I knew that this wasn’t the same AI that I had been dealing with.

After all, this was a proper synthetic voice unlike the fake AI voice that I had been hearing before.

"Are you the actual brain behind all of this?" I asked with a bitter smile, but there was no response that came.

In the end, the robot actually narrowed its eyes to look at me.

I was surprised that a robot could actually do something that looked this human or that it was designed for this in the first place. I knew that they had been designed with the idea of replacing humans, but this was certainly unexpected.

"This lower world actually has someone like you?"

A chill ran down my spine the moment that this was said and without hesitation, I sent the sword flying at the robot.

The robot didn’t seem to care at all that I was attacking it as it just let the swords pierce its frame. Until the very end, the robot had kept its eyes on me the entire time.

It seemed like this robot really was focused on trying to capture my image as clearly as possible.

When the light faded from the eyes of the robot, it said, "I’ll remember you."

A bitter smile appeared on my face as I hoped that it wouldn’t actually do that.

After all, the main part of this AI wasn’t even in this dungeon.

I had already searched this room and found that there were several bases just like the ones that I had taken down. I knew that there was no head for the AI since all of them were basically outposts.

When this room was replicated from whatever world it was from, only this small area with the different outposts was copied without copying the rest of the world.

But somehow, it seemed like the main part of the AI had found a way to connect to the parts of it that were copied in this world.

Even before leaving this world, it seemed like I had made some enemies...

"I really hope that they forget me."
