The protagonist triggered the base's defenses by destroying robot patrollers. A massive, bird-like mech emerged, designed for battle but equipped with seemingly outdated weapons like missiles and bullets. The protagonist easily deflected these attacks with divine energy swords and ultimately destroyed the mech by ripping it apart.

After the mech was ripped apart by the swords and dropped to the ground, it suddenly disappeared into a pile of loot.

I was disappointed seeing this since I had hoped that the mech itself would be considered loot. However, that was nothing more than a shot in the dark since it seemed incredibly unlikely.

Even the past trends were that only materials from the monsters were dropped, there had never been an entire monster corpse that dropped.

After all, the dungeon would want to keep as much mana as possible from the monster.

But it seemed like it wasn’t completely heartless based on the parts that were dropped.

"I have no idea what these things are, but at least they’re something to start with."

The loot that came from the monsters in this dungeon was usually parts of the monsters.

For a robot, the parts of it that dropped were parts that came from inside of the robot. These were the parts that were considered the main components of the robot, the parts that ran what would be considered its brain.

Only for someone like me who had never studied this before, it was useless even if I were to get these parts. After all, it wasn’t as if I had any idea of what I was looking at.

So in the end, the only thing that I could do was pack these things up and prepare to bring them back with me. It wasn’t as if it was guaranteed that someone would be able to understand these things, but at least they could try studying it.

If someone was able to crack it, then it would be good.

If someone couldn’t crack it now, there was always the chance that someone else would be able to crack it in the future.

Which was why I turned to look at the other robots.

I had ignored the rest of the robots that had been hiding inside of the base, but now it seemed like there was an incentive to take them down.

Even if these robots weren’t as powerful or complicated as the large boss robot, it wasn’t as if they were that badly made. These were complex robots that were made by whatever had destroyed this place, so they were valuable in their own rights.

If the large boss robot dropped these parts, then it was likely that the other robots would drop parts too.

These parts might just be the key to cracking the parts from the large boss robot. After all, those parts were from the same creator that created the large boss robot and the bases.

Since they were from the same creator, it was likely that these were simplified versions of the parts for the large boss robots.

With this link, it would be easier to crack the parts that came from the large boss robot.

The only thing that I could do was apologize to the robots in my heart as I moved towards the base.

But to my surprise, there were things that suddenly appeared from the base. Looking closely at how they were shaped, it seemed like these things were defense mechanisms that had been installed in the base.

It seemed like whoever was controlling the base recognized the threat that I posed after I took out the large boss robot. But the more interesting thing was that there was something still controlling the base.

I thought it had been the large boss robot that had been controlling the base, but now that didn’t seem to be the case. It seemed like there was some kind of system that was still installed in the base.

"Is it some kind of artificial intelligence that’s installed inside of the base?"

The more that I thought about it, the more likely that this was the case.

After all, it was usually things like artificial intelligences that would be the ones that were responsible for things like robot uprisings. So it wouldn’t be strange if there was one installed in this base controlling everything.

Perhaps this might even be connected to the other bases that I had seen as well.

With a flick of my hand, there were swords that appeared around me.

These swords were more than enough to deal with these weapons that came out since none of them were at the point where I had to worry about them. They were the same weapons that the robot boss possessed, so there wasn’t any resistance as my swords cut right through them.

Not to mention that with how quickly the swords went, the explosions that came from the weapons were close enough that they actually damaged the base itself.

At that point, the robots came out in droves as if the base was acting in desperation. Only there was nothing that they could do as the swords continued to rain down on them.

It was as if there was no end to these swords with how they continued to fly out. Though in reality, it was limited by how much divine energy I possessed.

If it was the me from before that didn’t learn the tricks to save my divine energy, I really wouldn’t have been able to shoot swords out at this rate. At the same time, the base amount of divine energy that I possessed had increased by countless folds with the titles from this dungeon.

With these tricks, it wasn’t a problem for me to continue shooting the swords out like a machine gun.

I only stopped when the robots stopped coming out of the base. Though I did make sure to keep swords floating in the air around the base just in case.

Slowly, I started moving towards the base while waiting to see what kind of reaction would come from it.

At the same time, I did have a few of the swords fly out to collect all the loot that had dropped. It really was hard to pick everything up with all that had been happening just now.
