The protagonist fished in the monster-filled ocean, using slain monsters as bait. He easily defeated several powerful sea monsters, including an Aspidochelon and a leviathan, with his swords, but felt disappointed by the lack of challenge. After dispatching the beasts, he sensed the powerful auras in the sea were gone and decided to test his spatial manipulation abilities before leaving the area.

"I don’t think normal people would be able to do anything in this place."

Looking down at the drop that was in front of me, I really didn’t know how to feel about this room.

Though there was one thing that I did have to say about this place.

"How did it create this kind of environment?"

The wide open skies, it really felt like there was no land at all in this place.

No matter how I looked down, I couldn’t find a single place to land.

This room looked like it had an endless space with how there wasn’t anything here. But at the same time, it felt like it was in the middle of the air since there was an endless sky spread out in front of me.

"It doesn’t seem to be an illusion, but there’s no way that this is a bottomless pit..."

Even if I was certain about this, there was a part of me that felt doubt staring down at the empty space in front of me.

In the end, I raised myself up with the wind and started flying through this place.

But the moment that I left the ledge of the doorway that I had entered this room from, I heard the sound of something closing. Before I could do anything about it, there was a wall that formed at this entrance that blocked me in.

Even if I wanted to turn around, it was already too late for it.

When I reached out towards what seemed to be the open sky, I did feel something that was there.

It was as I expected, there was still a wall to this room. It was just that it was covered by something that made it seem like it was a part of the landscape.

It certainly was something special that it was even able to fool my senses, but it wasn’t able to fool the divine energy if I released it. After all, the divine energy was like a sonar that hit the wall.

When it was directly hitting the wall like this, it really was hard to hide away.

"So that means that there should be a bottom to this place still, it’s just too far away that it takes a while for my divine energy to hit it."

I couldn’t stop the sigh from escaping as I realized this.

After all, whatever was controlling the dungeon core to create this space really was on a completely different level.

Out of all the dungeons that existed in this world, there wasn’t a single one that had a room like this. There wasn’t anything that could even come close since there was nothing that could create a room with this kind of environment.

It was all from a lack of mana.

There was no dungeon core that had this much mana.

Mana of this level might even seem like it was on the level of the gods...

"Does that mean that it’s a god that’s doing this? But if that’s the case, why would they do something like this?"

The more likely guess was that this was something created by the forces of Destruction.

But so far, there was nothing that came out even though I had been aggressively clearing this hidden floor.

With another sigh, I continued flying forward.

Out in the distance, I had seen something that seemed like a dot and as I expected, it was land. It was this pillar of rock that was raised up from a bottomless floor, reaching all the way up here to form something that was similar to an island.

But there were no land animals that seemed to live in this place.

The only things that actually seemed to live in this were birds that migrated from place to place.

None of them seemed to set up a home on this island, it just seemed like they laid down wherever was comfortable to rest and then moved on.

It didn’t even seem like there were any monsters that lived in this place.

But I knew better than that.

After all, the monsters were already out there in the open.

They were the birds that were flying around in this place.

Even though they seemed like normal birds, it would be impossible for there to be normal birds in this dungeon. Not to mention that they weren’t even hiding the mana that was coming from them.

However, it wasn’t as if I was interested in these birds in the first place.

The ones that I was interested in were the area bosses that lived in this wide room.

So that was why I ignored all of the birds and searched this island.

Only no matter how I looked at the island, it didn’t seem like there was anything here. It seemed like this place was nothing more than a normal island in the middle of this sea of emptiness.

But there was no way that this would be the case.

For something like this to exist in this place, there had to be a reason.

"What if I stirred up trouble? Will that be enough to make them show themselves?"

Even though I had decided to just ignore the birds that were here, it seemed like there really was no other choice. If I caused a commotion, whatever was hiding here should show itself to me.

With a sigh, I raised my hand and created swords all around me.

But before I could actually do anything to the birds, there was this commotion that came from them.

It wasn’t that they had realized that they were about to die, it was as if there was something that gave them a command that caused them to fly away.

Seeing this, I knew that there was no reason for me to keep going.

It seemed like the thing that was here was showing itself to be because I threatened the birds of this place.

"But why would it care if I threatened them?"
