Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2386: Hidden floor (8)

Other than the drops that came from the kraken, the biggest gain from this was the fact that my power surged from within.
I could tell that I was stronger than before after defeating this kraken and it wasn’t hard to guess why.
With how big and threatening this kraken was, it only made sense that it would be considered an area boss as well.
Which meant that defeating it solo should give me a title as well.
It was just that I was surprised by the amount that this kraken had increased my stats by.
"This sensation...it’s a three times...no it’s actually four times the normal stats."
Even the dragon king had only given a three times increase with the titles that they granted and they were supposed to be legendary beasts among legendary beasts. So for this kraken to actually give even more of a boost than the dragon kings...
"Well, it should be because the krakens were created with more care. In the end, it’s all about the will of the one controlling the dungeon to create these monsters."
I didn’t get the chance to think more about it as the water stirred once more.
It seemed like the kraken wasn’t the only thing that was down there, but it also wasn’t what I thought it would be. It wasn’t a second kraken that appeared out of the water, it was this large fish that looked like an eel that came out.
However, it definitely wasn’t any kind of normal eel.
"Is that a sea serpent?"
This was a fairly recognizable monster since it was quite famous to begin with.
But even so, that didn’t mean that it was hard to deal with this thing.
With a single thought, I gathered more swords around me that I prepared to shoot down at the sea serpent that came out of the sea.
Only the moment that these swords gathered, it seemed like the sea serpent started to hesitate.
One moment, the sea serpent had been charging at me with its mouth open as if it wanted to swallow me. The next moment, it seemed like the sea serpent was just too scared to approach.
It wasn’t completely terrified, but it was clear that the sea serpent was wary of the swords that were hanging in the sky above it.
"So it was watching the fight from earlier."
Seeing that way that this sea serpent acted, it wasn’t as if it was hard to guess what it was thinking. It was just that the pride of the sea serpent didn’t allow it to back down or it would have hidden away.
It was because of this that I was able to trap it.
With a flick of my fingers upwards, there were swords that came out from under the water.
Just because there were swords that were above the water didn’t mean that there couldn’t be swords under the water.
These swords were the ones that had fallen onto the kraken just now, but had remained under the water the entire time. This left them in the perfect position to surround the sea serpent and trap it amongst them.
When the sea serpent felt the swords stabbing it from below, it knew that there was no other choice. Even if it wanted to run away, the path to run away had already been cut off.
So the only thing that it could do was aim for the one that was controlling the swords.
Which meant that the top half of this sea serpent came out of the sea and reached up towards the sky. With its mouth open, there was only one goal in the mind of this sea serpent.
Swallow the enemy.
But of course, it wasn’t as if I was going to let it swallow me that easily.
Instead, there were swords that appeared in the path of the sea serpent.
If it wanted to reach me, it would have to penetrate this wall that was formed by the swords.
The only thing that the sea serpent could do was steel itself against these swords that stood in its path. It seemed to use magic to harden its skin, planning on using the size and strength of its physical body to resist these swords falling down on it.
"It’s too bad that my swords are far stronger than you can imagine."
There was nothing that the sea serpent could do when the swords rained down on it and cut right through its body. The only look that was on the sea serpent’s face was a look of regret.
"Why didn’t I run earlier?"
Perhaps if it had run earlier, it would have been able to avoid being surrounded by the swords under the water like this. Perhaps that would have been the only way that it would have survived.
It was just that this would have been impossible for the sea serpent since it was driven by pride and instinct.
As a monster and area boss of the dungeon, it certainly wouldn’t be able to run like that.
After the large sea serpent body disappeared, the swords that were under the water came up to catch the things that were falling down.
I didn’t pay any attention to the things that the swords brought up to me, instead I was focused on the water that was under me.
I wasn’t just looking at the water with my eyes, but rather scanning it with my divine energy.
After seeing both the kraken and the sea serpent, I knew that things weren’t as simple as they seemed.
It was clear that this ocean was hiding far more things than what it looked like from the surface, so I wanted to have a closer look at this.
"I’ve underestimated this place." I couldn’t help shaking my head with a faint smile, but there was a trace of excitement in my eyes as well.
With these many creatures hiding under the water, it certainly wouldn’t lack area bosses.
