It wasn’t hard for me to get out of the water, but there were tentacles that quickly followed behind me.

So in the end, I had no choice but to keep climbing higher and higher to get out of the range of these tentacles. There was nothing good that would happen if I were to get caught by these.

But as I rose up into the sky, I could see just how big the thing chasing me was.

Even though it was this big, it didn’t seem to fill this space at all.

"Just how big is this ocean room?" I couldn’t help wondering when I saw this.

However, now wasn’t the time to be thinking about this.

Especially since this thing was still chasing after me.

With the way that its tentacles came out of the water, it really seemed like there was no end to this thing.

Still, it wasn’t as if I was going to keep running.

With the space that came from escaping the territory of this thing, I was able to summon a bunch of swords. I had already stopped holding back, so it didn’t matter just how many swords I summoned at this point.

Not to mention that I really needed all of these swords.

If I didn’t have enough swords, it would be too hard for me to penetrate these tentacles.

Instead of shooting the swords down one by one, I had them come together to form groups of five. But even when the swords came together like this, it wasn’t as if they were getting in the way of each other.

They easily came together as a single sword that combined the power of all five swords.

Once the swords had been gathered like this, I waved my hand downwards at the tentacles.

With that, a rain of swords fell down towards the tentacles.

Since the swords had been combined like this, the weight had been increased by a decent amount. At the same time, the force of the swords had been shot out at were combined together.

So this time, there was no resistance that came from the tentacles that reached up into the sky.

Even if they wanted to resist, there really wasn’t anything that they could do as the swords fell down like missiles.

Blood splattered out from the parts of the tentacles that were cut off and it didn’t take long for the surface of the water to turn blue.

At the same time, there was a swell in the water right at the center of the tentacles. It seemed like there was something that was charging out of the water, as if it couldn’t take what had happened just now.

"So it’s giving me a target." I couldn’t help shaking my head with a faint smile when I saw this.

During this time, I had been gathering swords in a single mass right above me and I had been waiting to fire it.

Since this monster was willing to show itself to me, then there was no need to hold back at all.

With a single word, the giant mass that took the form of a giant sword fell down towards the face that came out of the water.

As expected, it was a kraken.

There was nothing that this kraken could do when it was hit head on by this mass of swords. It was even a bit too gruesome for me to look at directly since it was like the swords were crushing the kraken.

It was like a watermelon that had something very heavy dropped on it, causing it to shatter apart into many different pieces. Only this watermelon was the head of a living creature, so the things that were shattered were actual bits of that living creature.

For once, I was glad that the dungeon made sure that the corpses of the monsters in it disappeared.

Once the kraken’s head had been smashed, it immediately vanished and left behind loot.

I took out a few swords from the giant sword and sent those to grab it before they fell into the water.

If they fell into the water, there really was no telling where they would have been swept off considering how small they were.

After grabbing it, I flicked my fingers and sent the swords holding the loot flying back up to me.

Looking at them, it really was hard to believe that this was all that came from that giant kraken. After all, there wasn’t even one thousandth of the mass that had made up the giant kraken in this loot.

But this was usually how loot in games worked.

A giant boar would only drop a kilogram of meat as a drop.

For a kraken of this size, it was already good enough that this much dropped.

However, it didn’t seem like this dungeon was completely heartless as there were extra items that dropped from the kraken. These weren’t just materials from the kraken, these were special magic items that were quite powerful.

In the end, I just tossed them all into storage since it wasn’t as if I had any use for them.

Worst case scenario, I could use some of these things to make the prime minister, the chancellor, and the others that worked with me stronger. After all, I needed them to be able to protect themselves in the future.

If anything happened to them, then their work would be passed onto me.

Though I would also be sad to see anything happen to them since they were my friends and family.

But the main thing was that they had to live a long life and work for as long as possible for me. No matter what, I couldn’t let them die before I could pass on this position to one of my children.

That was the greatest ambition in my heart when I saw all of the magic items that I had been gathering from this hidden floor.
