"Is that the smell of saltwater in the air?" I muttered to myself as I moved through the corridor.

Since I had spent quite a bit of time in the Merman Kingdom, this was a smell that I was quite familiar with.

It was just that I didn’t know why this scent had suddenly appeared here.

That was until I saw what was in front of me.

"Well, if it could create a forest, it would certainly be able to create a mini sea." A wry smile appeared on my face as I said this.

Looking into the distance, I really couldn’t see the end of this place at all.

Though I knew that there would be an end to this since this was just a dungeon. It was impossible that this dungeon had created a space that was actually an ocean.

So there had to be something that was blocking me from seeing the other side.

Looking down into the ocean, I could see that there were things moving under the surface. I could even see that this body of water was much deeper than I thought it would be.

It was already amazing that the dungeon could replicate the forest like that, but now it was even able to replicate the ocean like this.

No matter how one looked at it, this wasn’t a normal dungeon floor anymore.

The largest question was where did all of this mana come from?

Since there was this large ocean that was formed, then there had to be some powerful monsters that were lying in wait under the ocean.

In that case, there was no reason for me to hesitate.

I was here to cause as much trouble as I could to draw out whoever turned the dungeon into this out.

As such, there was no need for me to stop my path of slaughter now.

Since I was going all out, it was easy for me to create a bubble around me while surrounding myself with swords created with divine energy.

But the moment that I entered the ocean, I was surprised by the sheer number of shadows around me.

I had already guessed that there would be a large amount of monsters hiding under the water based on the presence that I felt. But it turned out that I had completely underestimated the number of monsters hiding under the water.

It was almost dazzling seeing just how many monsters lived here.

Seeing them like this, I couldn’t help thinking of the environment that I had seen when I had been swimming around under the ocean as a fish.

It really seemed like there was a proper cycle of life in this place with how many fish monsters were swimming around.

But once they saw an outsider like me appear, they no longer attacked each other.

Instead, all of them turned their attention to me.

I just calmly waved my hand and let the swords fly out.

With the instincts that I learned from the fish under the ocean, I was able to let the swords fly out without any thought. It was almost ironic that I was using this power to slaughter all of the fish monsters that came at me.

But it wasn’t as if I was going to let myself be surrounded by the fish monsters.

At the same time, it was a good thing that the corpses of the fish monsters all disappeared once the sword passed through them. Though I did have to make sure to collect all of the loot that dropped.

With just how many fish monsters there were, their corpses alone could have easily crushed me if I left them be. Even the loot that was left behind was already enough to crush me as well if I didn’t collect them.

Which was why I diligently collected everything that they dropped, even if some of what they dropped wasn’t really worth it.

This was the first place on this hidden floor where there were a bunch of normal mobs, but that was just how it was in this place. After all, it would have felt a bit wrong if such a large body of water was completely empty.

But just taking down all of the fish monsters that came at me like this felt a bit empty.

It felt like there was just something that was missing.

"Something big is coming."

I didn’t let my guard down for a second even though I was fighting these fish monsters.

As I was surrounded, I made sure to keep an eye out for anything that might try to surprise me.

It turned out that there really was a big surprise in this room.

Only I found that I had underestimated how big that surprise was.

"Just how big is this thing?"

The only part of it that I was seeing was the tentacle that was coming forward to grab me. The rest of this creature was completely hidden in the depths of the ocean where I couldn’t see it.

This tentacle reached around me as if it wanted to grab me, so I sent the swords out to cut through it.

When the swords hit the tentacle, I found that it was actually too thick for me to cut through with one single slash. In the end, I had to send out several swords and slash several times before I was able to cut a piece of the tentacle off.

The rest of the tentacle went right back into the depths of the ocean.

However, that lull didn’t last long as there were more things that came out of the depths of the water.

It wasn’t just a few tentacles that came out, it was a bunch of them.

There were so many of them that it was hard to believe that they all came from the same creature.

With all of these coming up at me, I knew that I couldn’t remain under the water any longer or else it would be dangerous.
