Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2370: Something familiar (2)

"Uh master, isn’t this a bit too much?"
That was the first time that Hans questioned me, but it wasn’t as if he didn’t have a reason.
The three of them were exhausted because of all the monsters that I had made them fight.
But I had a reason for this.
"Keep going, it’s good for you."
The three of them looked at each other with bitter smiles on their faces, but they still followed my orders as they continued fighting the monsters in front of them. Though even if they didn’t follow my orders, it wasn’t as if there was much that they could do.
They had to either overcome this monster or they needed someone to help them escape it.
Since I wasn’t making a move, it was the former rather than the latter.
Which meant that they had to go all out to face the monsters that were there.
The one thing that I did was make sure that no other monsters would approach since this was the limit of what they could handle.
I was pushing them to their limits so that I could see what kind of potential they had.
After all, the times that I had felt that familiar feeling from them was when they were pushed to their limits. So I was pushing them to their limits again and again to bring out that potential that was inside of them.
At the same time, I really wanted to see what the source of this was.
As they faced the high troll, I could tell that the sensation that was coming from them was getting stronger.
As long as they continued being pushed to their limits like this, then it would only be a matter of time before they reached a level where they could use relics.
But even still, I couldn’t think of who they were.
If they had this capability, then they should be NPCs of decent renown in the game. It would be impossible for them to be people that no one knew of.
So it had to be me that didn’t recognize them...
Only no matter how I tried thinking about them, I just couldn’t figure it out.
"Were there NPCs of this level that I just didn’t know about?" There was even a part of me that was dejected because of this.
After all, with the amount of time that I had dedicated to this game, it really was hard to imagine if this was the case.
I had to admit that it was something that I was even secretly proud of.
But now that this happened, it felt like that pride had been shattered.
That was until I remembered something about this game.
"It’s said that it runs like a real world and new things are generated all the time."
Not to mention that there were many things that had changed because of all the different things that I had done after coming to this world.
It wasn’t as if this world was following the script of the game world that it was based on.
"This is a completely different world...filled with all kinds of people."
Once I came to this conclusion, I realized that I had been mistaken in my line of thought. I thought that they had to be established NPCs of this world if they had the ability to use the relics.
However, it wasn’t as if they couldn’t be random NPCs that developed this ability.
After all, this world was one that was alive and there were all kinds of people out there.
So it only made sense if there was someone capable of developing this kind of talent.
There was a part of me that even felt a bit silly for trying so hard to figure out the identities of these three.
"It turned out that I was making a mountain out of a molehill." I said to myself with a sigh.
But it wasn’t as if the training was bad for these three.
"Thud."
With this large sound, the high troll collapsed in front of the three kids.
They had been able to combine their powers to take down this high troll, but it wasn’t as if that alone was all that it took to take this high troll down. During the fight, their potential had even exploded and led to them suddenly learning new techniques.
If I kept pushing them, then it was likely that they would even be able to reach a level where they would be able to directly use relics.
But there was no need for that.
Since they looked at me as their master, it wasn’t as if I was going to draw out all their potential in one go. If I were to actually do that, I would be harming these kids rather than helping them.
So as a form of apology to them for doubting them like this and pushing them this hard, I decided that I would just bring them up to a level where they would be able to fulfill their regrets.
Once they reached that level, they would be able to return home with their heads held high and then they would be able to get over this rebellious phase of theirs.
"Alright, there’s no need for you to keep fighting these monsters anymore."
When the three of them heard this, it looked like they were about to explode from joy.
However, there was a part of them that couldn’t help looking suspicious since I had announced this a bit too suddenly. They couldn’t help feeling that there might be something else that I wanted them to do.
Though it wasn’t as if that was false.
"I have a final test for you. Once you pass this final test, then I’ll have taught you everything that I can teach you."
Their eyes lit up when they heard this, but then they couldn’t help looking at the high troll once more before asking...
"What is this final test?"
