"Don’t just attack it directly, get around and attack from behind. Make sure to use the blind spots to your advantage."
I had been teaching these three over the past few days on how to fight against the monsters of this dungeon.
As we walked past other groups, they looked at us with strange looks.
After all, it would seem like we were a party with how similar our ages were.
But in reality, I was walking around with them following me and I was offering them advice from time to time. With our group acting this way, it made it seem like I was the teacher that was walking around with a bunch of students.
Which technically was the structure of our party.
Even now, I was teaching them how to fight the monsters that were on this second floor.
For each floor that we went down, the monsters would become stronger.
I had already taken care of the bosses on the first floor alone while they had been sleeping which was why it was the perfect time to come down to this second floor.
But once we reached the second floor, that was where they reached their limits.
I knew that this would be the case since the second floor was the floor that was considered the gate of this dungeon.
Once one came to this second floor, they would face higher evolution monsters.
These were monsters that were much stronger than the average knight, they were even stronger than average knight captains.
So these noble kids really weren’t able to keep up unless they had someone guiding them.
If it wasn’t for the warnings that I gave at just the right time, then they would have fallen to the monsters that they were facing.
But with my support, they were able to put up a good fight.
However, there was something strange that came from these three while they were fighting.
It wasn’t something that I was feeling for the first time, this was something that I had already felt previously. It was just that I hadn’t thought about it too much before this.
When it happened previously, I thought that it was nothing more than a mistake.
But now that it happened again, I realized that this certainly wasn’t a mistake.
In fact, it felt like it was only happening when they were being pushed to the limit.
Just like the time they fought the minotaur and this time that they were fighting this hobgoblin warrior.
It seemed like when they were being pushed to their limits, they started drawing on some kind of latent power that was deep within them. It helped with their growth and allowed them to reach the level of power of the monster in front of them.
After a while, I finally figured out what it was.
It was just that the moment that I figured it out, I couldn’t believe that these kids were giving off this kind of feeling. After all, it was only those special individuals that could give off a feeling like this.
I had never heard of these three before, even with my knowledge of this world when it was still a game.
So it just felt strange that they would give off this sensation.
Once they had taken down the hobgoblin warrior, I couldn’t help coming over to take a closer look at them.
The three of them looked confused that I was looking at them like this, but they didn’t say anything as they just let me do what I wanted.
First was Hans the swordsman.
He was just a normal swordsman from what I could see, there weren’t any special techniques that he used. In fact, I even recognized his technique as the Imperial Style that was commonly used across the continent.
So as far as I was concerned, he really was just a normal swordsman.
Then there was Lily the magician.
She wasn’t even a special magician as most of her spells were still basic spells.
From time to time, she would shoot out one or two special spells, but she would always be drained because of it. She was clearly someone that was just starting out on the path of magic.
Finally, there was Annie the knight.
At first, I hadn’t been able to figure out that she was a girl since she had been completely covered in armour.
But later on, I found out that she was indeed a girl and she was a beautiful one at that.
Yet even so, she fought with this heavy armour that was clearly a lot for her.
From what I could see, she was a clumsy knight that was tripped up by the armour that she wore.
None of these three seemed like the kind that would be able to become a relic user.
That was the feeling that I got from the three of them.
I was certain that it was this feeling since I had already spent quite a bit of time with other relic users and knew what kind of feeling they gave off.
In the end, I decided to use the one test that I knew would work.
Secretly, I released my divine energy and sent it towards the three of them.
If there was a resonance that came from this divine energy, then it was confirmed that they had a connection with divine energy that would allow them to use relics.
As the divine energy approached them, I couldn’t help feeling conflicted over this since they were just kids.
But in the end, it was confirmed that they did indeed have the capabilities to become relic users in the future.
The resonance that came from the divine energy was weak, but it was still there.
That meant that as long as they trained with relics in the future, they would be able to use them.
"Just who are these people?"
The more that I thought about it, the more confused I was about all of this...
