Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2360: Solo kill (2)

The wolf cub continued to grow as it absorbed more mana from the dungeon.
In the game, the monsters that were in the dungeon would just respawn.
But when it came to real life, it seemed like these monsters had to be nurtured by the dungeon core.
Though thinking about it, it didn’t really seem to make sense.
Where did the cubs come from in the first place?
If they could create the cubs, then why couldn’t the dungeon core just create the wolf directly?
In a way, it almost felt like putting the horse before the carriage.
Still, this did explain why there was a timer for the boss to appear again.
After all, it did take some time for this wolf to fully absorb the mana from the dungeon and grow.
Once it was done, the first thing that I did was release a barrier in the surrounding area. This was an illusion barrier that would muddle the perception of anyone that approached it, causing them to go the other way.
What I was about to do wasn’t something that I wanted others to see.
It wasn’t as if there was anything strange about the way that I was going to fight the wolf, it was just that this wasn’t something that others would be able to accept that easily.
Once the barrier was up, I didn’t waste any time in approaching the wolf.
While I was approaching, I didn’t hide my presence at all which was why the wolf noticed me right away. As soon as I came near, the wolf looked up at me with a wary look.
However, it didn’t seem like the wolf was afraid of me.
This wolf was an area boss that had been nurtured by the dungeon core, so it wasn’t as if it would be afraid of anything that easily. It had been raised by the dungeon core to fight against those that invaded it, so something like fear was unnecessary.
Though the bigger part of it was that I was hiding my abilities.
Even if it had its fear suppressed by the dungeon core, it wasn’t as if the dungeon core could completely suppress the instincts of a beast.
If I showed a bit too much, then the wolf would feel a fear that it wouldn’t be able to resist.
After watching me approach for a bit, the wolf was the one that initiated combat first by shooting a wind blade at me.
Of course, this wind blade wasn’t an actual attack from the wolf and was nothing more than a probe that was meant to test my abilities. It seemed like it was being wary because of the sensation that I was giving off.
However, that wind blade never reached me.
Before it could reach me, that wind blade was scattered by something invisible.
Even the wolf that had shot it didn’t seem to understand how the wind blade had suddenly disappeared. The only thing that was on its face was shock from the fact that the wind blade was gone.
I didn’t do anything other than continue moving towards the wolf at a calm pace.
But this time, the wolf was fully aware that I was dangerous.
The problem was that the wolf couldn’t run from this place since it was the area boss.
Though if it really did lose its mind from fear, then it would start running around the dungeon which would be another problem. That was why I was doing all of this to restrain the wolf until I was close enough to...
"Ao!" The wolf suddenly gave a howl as a whirlwind appeared around it.
When this whirlwind appeared, there were many blades of wind that were shot at me.
The wolf didn’t seem like it was holding back anymore as it was using all of its power to push me away. It spared no expense in trying to take me down before I could get close.
It was just that none of this mattered.
No matter how hard the wolf tried to push me back, I just calmly approached it while getting rid of all of the wind blades that it shot at me.
It didn’t matter how hard the wolf tried, it just wasn’t able to make a single wind blade that could reach me.
All of the wind blades that were shot out were scattered before they could even come close.
After a while, I was right before the wolf and it realized that it was in danger.
Only it wasn’t able to run away.
That was because this wolf noticed that there was something mixed into the whirlwind that it had created around itself. These things that had been mixed into the whirlwind had actually prevented it from controlling the whirlwind.
The whirlwind had actually become a trap that had prevented the wolf from running away.
At this point, the wolf’s instincts took over and it knew that it was completely outclassed. It was facing an enemy that it just had no hopes of winning against.
But at the same time, it was trapped by the whirlwind...
"Ao!"
The wolf seemed like it was going all out like a caged beast, but it wasn’t as if I was going to give it a chance to actually harm me. If I was going to trap it like this, it was only natural that I had a way of finishing it off.
The only reason that I had observed it for this long was, "So the area bosses in this place are the same as in the game. They even have the same attack patterns, so this should be easy."
With a single flick of my hand, there were shards of metal that came out of the whirlwind and hit the wolf right in the head.
The wolf’s body just wasn’t able to stop these shards of metal at all as they pierced right through its head and finished it off, causing the body to explode in a bunch of loot.
