Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2359: Solo kill (1)
Previously on Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure...
The speed that I moved through the dungeon with, that was enough to demonstrate how familiar I was with this place.
Though there was a part of me that was relieved since the dungeon was just like how I remembered it.
It really would have been awkward if I had confidently entered this dungeon only to find that it had completely changed compared to before. If I had somehow gotten lost even though I had been this confident...
At that point, I really would have wanted to dig a hole to hide myself in.
As I continued along, I could see that there were other groups that were fighting the monsters in this dungeon.
None of them were weak since in the first place, they were able to fight these monsters that spawned in this dungeon.
Monsters were considered stronger than humans in the first place, which was why they were known as monsters. So anyone that was brave enough to come into a dungeon to hunt monsters had to have a certain level of confidence in their abilities.
But I just ignored all of them as I headed for a certain location.
I knew exactly what my prey was, so it wasn’t as if I was going to waste any time with other things.
Though in the end, it seemed like I was a step late.
"So there’s someone already here." I said with a sigh seeing the ones that were currently fighting in front of me.
This was even a hidden place with a hidden boss, so normal people shouldn’t have been able to find this place. The fact that they were already fighting the hidden boss meant that they must have found this place earlier.
Watching them fight, I could even see that they had made their preparations to fight this hidden boss. Not only that, they had prepared for quite a long time to fight this hidden boss.
It was a large wolf that this group surrounded, but this wolf wasn’t the leader of a pack.
Rather, it was so strong that it didn’t need to lead a pack which was what qualified it to be a hidden boss.
The group that surrounded it was attacking it from different angles, but they did it from close range. They didn’t let the wolf get anywhere as they fully surrounded it.
It was as if they didn’t want to give the wolf any room at all with how hard they were pressing it.
Of course, I knew that this was their strategy for defeating the wolf and it was actually the best strategy that they could use. After all, the specialty of this wolf was its long range attacks.
As long as they pressed it from close range and prevented the wolf from using those long range attacks, then it was simply a wolf that was stronger than most.
The most that it could do right now was use the wind that it would have normally shot out as wind blades to protect itself. It wrapped the wind around itself like a kind of armour, but that wasn’t enough to stop them.
This team that was attacking the wolf had already long prepared for that and used weapons that were able to break through this wind armour.
However, it really seemed like a back and forth battle.
After all, there was a reason why this wolf was known as a hidden area boss.
It was much stronger than most of the other monsters that lived in this place and it was able to dominate this area so that no other monsters could approach.
Eventually, the team was able to land a decisive blow that slowed down this wolf.
As soon as they landed that decisive blow, the boss started slowing down more and more until they finally landed the final blow.
Once the sword stabbed into the head of the boss, its corpse suddenly exploded into a bunch of items that dropped to the ground.
This was just how it was in the dungeon, even the corpses of the monsters that lived in this dungeon were not spared from being swallowed. The mana that was used to create these monsters were given by the dungeon core and it was taken back by the dungeon core when they died.
But the items that dropped belonged to the ones that had taken down this wolf.
"Damn, it didn’t drop the thing that I wanted."
"At least it dropped something valuable or else it would have been a waste of all these resources."
"Let’s go back and tally everything, there’s no telling what else will show up if we stay here."
Watching them leave like this, I couldn’t help shaking my head with a smile.
After all, they reminded me of players in a MMO that had just finished off a boss.
It seemed like it didn’t matter which world it was, those that explored the dungeons were the same.
Even though the boss had been taken down by this group, I wasn’t actually worried since I knew that it would come back soon.
I had already confirmed that this dungeon still functioned the same as the dungeon from the game, so it was just a matter of time before the wolf respawned.
Though the way that the wolf respawned was surprising to me.
I thought that the dungeon would just pour out mana until it formed the wolf again, but it seemed like this wasn’t the case.
Once the group left this area, there was movement that came from the ground.
It was a small wolf that came out of a hole in the wall that moved over to the center of this boss area. Once it was there, it suddenly laid down on the ground and started growing bigger.
I could tell that it was the dungeon that was pouring mana into this wolf, growing it into the hidden boss that it was going to be.
But this certainly wasn’t what I had expected to see.
