"Is this your first time here?"

With a nod, I said, "That’s right, it’s my first time exploring this place."

As soon as the receptionist saw this, she immediately pulled out all kinds of things that she handed to me.

Seeing this, I couldn’t help revealing a faint smile.

Behind me, I could feel the impatience that was coming from the others. But it wasn’t as if they could do anything since they had to wait if they wanted to enter this dungeon.

This place that I was currently in was a special dungeon that was being managed by one of the four empires. Specifically, this was a place that was managed by the Sorcery Empire.

As such, they really couldn’t do anything when the receptionist acted this way.

After all, the receptionist was a powerful wizard to begin with.

Anyone that would want to do anything or complain to her would be crazy, so they had no choice but to wait for her to finish explaining things to me.

So after a long introduction to the dungeon, I finally said, "Can I go in now?"

The receptionist didn’t seem to mind that I was being blunt with her, instead she said, "If you want, I can go in as an escort."

When she was being this blunt, all I could do was say with an awkward smile, "I’m just heading in for a bit of exploration, I’m not doing anything special."

Since I was going this far, the receptionist let me off in the end since her superior was even looking in this direction now. The line that she had created with her actions had been enough to draw their attention over.

Seizing this, I quickly entered the dungeon.

The moment that I stepped into the dungeon, I could feel the traces of mana in the air.

A dungeon was formed when a dungeon core was born, it was a living creature that utilized mana in the air to create this dungeon around them.

As for why they created this dungeon, it was naturally to feed itself.

Dungeon cores were special beings that utilized the honey trap method to draw people in and then fed on those that died in their dungeons. They lured people in with promises of treasure and then fed on their corpses when they died.

But it wasn’t as if people weren’t willing to take this risk since the items that the dungeon gave really was worth it.

The items that came from the dungeon were expensive enough that they would be able to change people’s lives completely. Just a single item was enough to turn a poor man into a tycoon.

Which was why there were so many people that were willing to take this risk.

Though I wasn’t here for that.

I was here for something completely different.

After stepping into the dungeon, I couldn’t help taking a deep breath.

Even though I had never actually smelled the dungeon when I was playing the game that this world was based on, it did smell exactly like I thought it would.

Though this did make the others around me look at me like I was crazy.

There was actually a group that came over to me and asked, "Do you want to come with us?"

I could see that they didn’t mean any harm when they said this.

The way that they looked at me showed that they were worried about me, which was why they were asking me to go along with them. They were looking at me as if I was a newbie that had come to this dungeon for the first time,

It was just that I was anything but that.

With the number of times that I had run this dungeon, I was the last person that could be called a newbie.

Not to mention that the things that I was about to do, they just simply weren’t convenient for other people to see. If they were to know what I was planning to do, they would have thought that I was crazy.

Though that was only if they believed that I could do these things.

"Thank you for your concern, but I’m just looking around."

Hearing this, they nodded as if they understood what I was doing.

They looked at me as if I was some noble young master that was coming to this dungeon for the first time for experience.

Still, there were some doubts that were in their eyes since I didn’t come with anyone. If I was a noble young master, then I should have some kind of bodyguard following me.

Then it seemed like they understood something.

"He’s in hiding. This is a high class noble young master that we can’t even find their bodyguard."

Once they realized this, they quickly chose to retreat since they knew that there was nothing good about getting involved with me. Only I couldn’t help feeling a bit bitter seeing them act this way.

They weren’t wrong about my identity since I was technically a king, but the way that they acted really made me feel a bit strange.

Still, it didn’t matter since it got people to ignore me.

The others saw what happened and they recognized the group that approached me, they were actually quite the famous group to begin with.

Which was why they all knew to avoid me.

Regardless, I went deeper into the dungeon on my own.
