Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2351: One with nature (1)

"This really is a freeing feeling."
Seeing the ocean spread out all across me without a single thing blocking my view, it felt like being in the middle of nowhere.
In a sense, it felt like I had the freedom to do anything that I wanted to do.
However, I knew that this wasn’t the case since this was an ocean that was filled with all kinds of hidden danger. If I were to suddenly swim off in a random direction, there was no telling what would be hiding in the darkness waiting for me.
After all, this was nature in its most raw form.
There was no telling how many dangers were hiding in the darkness in front of me.
There could be countless predators that were waiting to hunt me and swallow me whole.
The form that I was currently in was one that was quite enticing for these predators.
I was nothing more than a simple fish swimming through the sea.
It was only by taking this form that I was able to witness nature in its more simple form. At the same time, I would be able to experience what it was like to be a part of this life cycle.
Though it certainly wasn’t easy maintaining this form.
To do something like this, it required quite a bit of divine energy.
What I was using was a potion that I created with my creation divine energy, but that potion wasn’t something that lasted forever. To ensure that I remained in this form, I had to keep feeding myself the same potion with divine energy.
Though it certainly wasn’t easy to feed myself a potion under the water.
Especially since I had lost my human arms and had nothing but a fish body.
The method that I chose was to directly use the creation divine energy to turn the water that I gathered inside of my mouth into that potion. This was a very delicate procedure, not to mention that it took quite a bit of creation divine energy just to make this potion in the first place.
After all, this potion wasn’t something that existed naturally in this world.
But even so, I felt that all of this was worth it.
After taking this moment to enjoy the feeling of being in the center of the ocean like this, I focused myself once more on the task at hand.
It was a simple task, but that didn’t mean that it was an easy task.
For a normal creature, it was a struggle just to live every day.
Since I was doing this, it was only natural that I would seal off my powers other than the creation divine energy that I was using to maintain this form. At this moment, I was no different from any other fish in the sea.
Swimming along in the ocean, I made sure to stay near the center of the water.
After all, the most dangerous things in the ocean were generally near the surface or hiding on the bottom. Which meant that this middle layer was relatively safer than those other two options.
But it wasn’t as if this place was completely safe either.
It really was a fish eat fish world and right now I was looking for something smaller than me to feed on.
It didn’t take long for me to find one, but the problem was the difference in speed.
With that smaller body, it had a much faster swimming speed than I did and I just wasn’t able to catch it.
Unless I used my powers, it seemed very unlikely that I would be able to catch up to that fish.
So in the end, I had no choice but to give up with a bitter feeling filling me.
This was just how it was in nature, so it wasn’t as if it was strange that I wasn’t able to catch it.
Those that were smaller would naturally have their own way to avoid being eaten and when it came to this small fish, it seemed like what it was confident in was its speed.
Since I was here to experience nature in all its glory, it wasn’t as if I was going to start using my powers to catch it.
Though if I really were to starve...
"For now, let’s see if I can find something that I can catch."
Unless I was truly desperate, it wasn’t as if I was going to break my own rules yet.
So that was why I started observing rather than rushing into it.
Swimming along, it didn’t take long for me to see other fish that were hunting just like me. There were even a few that seemed to approach me as if they wanted to hunt me, but I quickly scared them off with a few quick movements.
Instead of wasting time trying to hunt a crazy fish, it was better to hunt something easier.
Life was all about survival after all and wasting energy was counterintuitive to that goal.
After watching for a bit, I realized what it was that the other fish were doing.
"They’re all just waiting for each other to make a move."
In short, it was just all of them waiting for the right opportunity to strike.
They were all waiting for someone else to make a move and then play the role of fishermen, which was kind of ironic considering they were fish.
But learning this did make things much easier.
Even if I didn’t use my powers, I was still fundamentally different from the rest of the fish because of my developed mind. The reactions that I had were on a completely different level from the rest of the fish, so I was able to strike before they could.
By the time that they reacted, I was already holding the prey in my mouth.
It wasn’t as if they could do anything about it, so these fish had no choice but to give up in the end.
