Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2190: High level meeting

A select few individuals, those wielding significant influence across the continent, were present at this pivotal meeting.
These esteemed attendees represented the other three empires, alongside various racial factions.
Such a grand assembly, incorporating the nations of the world into the racial alliance's discussions, was a rare occurrence in former times. Nevertheless, the summons for this particular gathering originated from me.
As the meeting commenced, an air of unfamiliarity pervaded their gazes as they observed me.
It was as if they were encountering me for the very first time.
I maintained my composure, unperturbed by their peculiar scrutiny, and awaited an opening statement from any of them.
There was a specific matter I wished for them to broach initially.
"So, your intention is to bring them under control?"
Their directness was striking; they certainly didn't hesitate to pull their punches.
Their blunt approach stirred a slight sense of awkwardness within me, a feeling I swiftly quelled.
Regardless of whether they chose to be forthright or indirect, my objective for the day remained singular. In truth, their directness was preferable, as it eliminated the need for any preamble.
"Yes."
A wave of surprise flickered across their faces once more.
While not completely blindsided, as some suspicions were already harbored, they were undeniably taken aback by my candid admission.
Regaining their composure after this momentary shock, their eyes narrowed as they focused on me.
The very act of admitting such a thing signaled that a matter of grave importance was on the horizon. They were keen to brace themselves for the next revelation I might unleash.
A pang of something akin to resentment stirred within me at their scrutinizing looks, but outwardly, I remained impassive as I continued.
"It has become a contentious issue within the racial alliance. In the past, their desires were of little consequence, as such was the established order, and we were all in agreement. So long as their actions did not impinge upon the collective interests of the continent's races, there was no cause for intervention."
My tone then shifted, adopting a chilling edge as I declared, "However, they have unequivocally crossed that boundary and have begun enacting measures detrimental to the racial alliance as a whole. It is for this reason that I have resolved to take a firm stance this time."
Once more, the assembled individuals regarded me with expressions as if they were encountering a stranger.
I could readily surmise their thoughts from their very demeanor, yet I met their gazes calmly, awaiting their response.
Following a prolonged silence, the pontiff of the Solista Religion spoke, "It is indeed true that their recent conduct has been quite unruly, so we find ourselves in agreement with this proposition. Nevertheless, another significant concern requires our attention."
This statement did not catch me off guard; in fact, it was precisely the point I had anticipated they would raise.
"The fact remains that she poses a considerable danger. It is not as though their actions were entirely without justification, even if they did overstep the bounds."
This was their position, and I held no ill will towards them for it.
They were correct in asserting that Dorothy, due to the immense power she wielded, was inherently perilous. This was particularly evident in her final transformation, which served as undeniable proof that she was, in essence, a ticking time bomb.
However, I countered, "But we cannot disregard the undeniable fact that she is exceptionally useful. Her unique abilities, which none of us possess, can prove invaluable in our struggle against the forces of Destruction."
No one contested this assertion, for they were fully aware of its veracity.
During the confrontation with War, had Dorothy not been instrumental in suppressing the corrupting energy seeping into him, my victory would not have been achieved with such relative ease.
Thus, in a certain sense, Dorothy could be regarded as one of the primary contributors to that significant accomplishment.
However, a careful consideration of the advantages versus the disadvantages was imperative.
Even with Dorothy's assistance in confronting the forces of Destruction, it did not entirely mitigate the inherent danger she presented. Her transformation, in particular, had signaled a potential threat even greater than the forces of Destruction themselves.
Observing their evident indecision, I stated, "There remains one more of the Four Omens, and it is prophesied to be the most formidable of them all. You have already witnessed the immense difficulty I faced in contending with War alone; therefore, it is impossible to foresee the challenges that lie ahead. For the present, it is most prudent to ensure her safety and secure her cooperation for future endeavors."
Despite my words, my actual intention was not to involve Dorothy in the impending battle against Death, the final of the Four Omens. My sole aim was to persuade them, to prevent them from creating unnecessary obstacles.
A flicker of guilt even touched me, stemming from the way I had to speak about Dorothy.
Stating that she was a resource we ought to utilize might not have been the most diplomatic phrasing, but in the prevailing circumstances, it was the most effective, compelling me to utter those words.
Gradually, a sense of persuasion seemed to dawn upon them regarding my assertion.
However, it also appeared as though they harbored certain stipulations before giving their assent.
"You must guarantee that she refrains from any further episodes of that nature."
A simple nod was my response, signifying agreement.
Provided they consented to the proposed strategy for handling the other nations, their minor request was of little consequence.
Indeed, it was a course of action I had already intended to pursue.
