The Holy Son declared his withdrawal from the racial alliance, shocking everyone present. He revealed that he would no longer cooperate with those plotting behind the alliance's back for personal gain. This decision sent a clear message, causing panic among the smaller kingdoms who had proposed harming Dorothy. Despite their pleas, the Holy Son stood firm, emphasizing that his family must never be touched.

"Thank you for taking the time to meet with us."

My response was silence as I offered no reply to their greeting.

Instead, a frigid gaze was cast upon the assembled faces before me.

This only deepened the palpable awkwardness that now permeated the air. Yet, they could not simply abandon the meeting, for they had been the ones to initiate this request.

More importantly, they were the ones in dire straits, the ones who desperately needed something from this encounter. Their predicament would only worsen if this discussion yielded no conclusion.

Therefore, they were left with no alternative but to proceed, despite my unresponsiveness.

"I understand this is a difficult matter to address, but I believe we must discuss it thoroughly. The fate of the entire continent, along with all its inhabitants, hangs in the balance. This is not a decision to be taken lightly. I feel..."

"Is that all you have to say?" I interrupted the representative before they could finish their sentence.

At my sudden question, scowls contorted their faces.

It wasn't just the primary representative; every individual present wore a similar grim expression, trapped by the circumstances.

Yet, there seemed to be no other recourse available to them.

They were, in essence, cornered, with the other party holding all the leverage in this negotiation.

"What is it that you want?"

After a prolonged silence, the representative finally uttered these words, a sigh escaping their lips, signaling their capitulation.

Without delay, I laid down my demands, deeming further negotiation a waste of precious time.

As I articulated my terms, I observed their expressions grow increasingly displeased.

The conditions I presented offered them no escape; they were designed to strip them of everything.

Consequently, their acceptance of such terms was understandably difficult.

The looks on their faces suggested a strong desire to contest some points and perhaps mitigate the penalties imposed upon them.

"I don't care what you have to say. This isn't a negotiation. It is a sentence, and you may either accept it or refuse it," I stated in a frigid tone once I had finished outlining all demands.

Shock registered on the faces of all the representatives. They had clearly not anticipated such unwavering resolve on my part. They had presumed this was a genuine negotiation, affording them an opportunity to voice their thoughts.

However, with the unilateral declaration of terms, there was nothing left to say or do. Their only remaining options were to accept or reject the conditions presented.

"This is tyranny."

"Indeed, it is."

My swift affirmation plunged them back into a state of stunned disbelief.

It was evident that they had formed a preconceived notion of me, upon which they based their negotiation strategy. However, that perception was now outdated, as I too had undergone changes during this period.

I came to understand that while aiding the continent's people was crucial, it did not necessitate yielding to their every whim.

In the past, I had been overly idealistic, merely following the directives of the gods out of necessity. But now, having inherited a significant portion of the God of Creation's legacy, I possessed the autonomy to make my own decisions.

I refused to allow those I cared about to be harmed.

"Even so, we cannot possibly hand over individuals who do not..."

"This is a compilation of all identified individuals thus far, and the process of identifying more is ongoing. Your cooperation is not mandatory, but should you refuse, I must warn that the consequences will be far more severe for you."

At this juncture, the stunned expression seemed to have become their default facial state.

They wished to refute the information I presented, but it proved difficult when they knew the list was accurate. The names on it were obtained through our intelligence networks and information extracted from captured soldiers.

I ensured that the soldier divulged every piece of intelligence he possessed before dealing with him.

As for the data from the intelligence networks, it originated from the networks of the other three empires and various races. Thus, nothing could truly remain hidden when practically the entire continent collaborated to uncover it.

By this point, they had been utterly subdued, with all their defenses dismantled.

Their only remaining recourse was to plead and hope for mercy.

"We accept these terms."

On their faces, a multitude of expressions flickered as they scrambled to find words, yet no viable option remained. Consequently, they were left with no recourse but to acquiesce to the conditions I proposed. My own agreement was a simple nod, a confirmation of what I had anticipated from the outset. What remained concealed from them, however, was the intricate machinations already underway behind the curtain. Those harboring such intentions presented a peril too significant to ignore, necessitating their clandestine removal. This, in essence, formed the crux of my subsequent encounter.
