Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2110 2110: Princess?

Though the air bubble was quite compact, it by no means restricted my range of movement.
As I navigated through the depths, the bubble stayed perfectly in sync with my position. Its surface was remarkably thin, allowing me to observe the surrounding environment without any visual interference.
Yet, the surroundings remained eerily barren.
This entire body of water appeared completely desolate.
The lack of any tangible signs of life within these waters was rather unsettling.
Still, a different sensation began to permeate the space around us.
It felt as though we were being observed by some unknown entity lurking within the gloom.
Entering this domain immediately gave me such an impression, and I was certain that something was keeping a close eye on us.
Of course, I could easily deduce the nature of these watchful gazes.
Context alone made their identity quite predictable.
The only real surprise was how quickly they had managed to track us down.
Fully aware of their identity and potential intentions, I held my hand up to display the Mark of God clearly. Given my past encounters with various elemental groups, I expected this to be sufficient.
Surprisingly, they showed no reaction to the Mark of God on my palm.
Even with the Mark plainly visible, the surrounding water elementals seemed entirely indifferent to it.
A sudden, violent surge of current signaled the emergence of a massive water elemental.
Judging by the collective behavior of the smaller entities, it seemed as if they had been anticipating the arrival of this powerful figure all along.
The sheer scale of this entity left no doubt that it was the ancestor of the tribe.
I struggled to comprehend why the ancestor had chosen to manifest so abruptly.
That confusion dissipated the moment it spoke.
"Princess, is it truly you?"
A look of profound bewilderment washed over my face at the ancestor's query.
I scanned the area for anyone else before looking down at Undine, who was trailing behind me. She was standing in a way that suggested she was attempting to conceal herself behind my frame.
Initially, I suspected a stray water elemental had snuck into our bubble, but that was not the case.
Given the ancestor's fixed gaze, there was no denying that Undine was the 'princess' it referred to.
This fact only deepened my confusion, given what I knew about the relationship between spirits and elementals.
They were, after all, inherent adversaries.
Without another word, the ancestor turned and vanished. Upon its departure, the rest of the elementals also melted away.
A pang of regret hit me; since our primary objective was to track down these water elementals, their sudden disappearance presented a significant obstacle.
The complication proved fleeting, however, as more elementals converged upon us.
Four additional giant water elementals suddenly materialized, the one who had addressed Undine as 'princess' among them.
Their numbers caught me off guard.
Most other elemental tribes had only one or two surviving ancestors, yet the water tribe boasted five.
Upon closer inspection, it was evident that these ancestors possessed less raw power than those of other tribes.
It became clear that they did not rely solely on strength to withstand the forces of Destruction, choosing instead to prioritize unity and cooperation.
As the ancestors drew near, they bowed toward Undine in unison. "Princess, you have returned at last."
As those words resonated, the remaining elementals revealed themselves once more.
They didn't just appear; they erupted into a festive display, crafting elaborate water sculptures to honor Undine's homecoming.
Undine, however, seemed entirely unimpressed.
She buried her face in her hands, signaling her weariness with the whole spectacle.
Their enthusiasm remained undeterred, however. Their radiant expressions signaled their firm intent to celebrate until they received recognition.
The younger elementals, lacking the refined aquatic control of their elders, were clearly struggling to maintain their formations.
Observing their strain, Undine finally spoke. "Enough, that will do."
The elementals immediately ceased their display, fixing their eyes on her with eager anticipation, waiting for her next word.
Undine breathed a heavy sigh. "It has been an eternity. Can we please drop this whole 'princess' business?"
The five elders shook their heads in unison. "Certainly not. We would never forsake our princess nor betray her. We have awaited your homecoming for all this time."
I shot a sidelong glance at Undine with a raised brow, but she only returned an exasperated look, clearly offering no further explanation.
