Shadows of the Deep Space Chapter 1605 523: Thunder Angel (Part 4)
Previously on Shadows of the Deep Space...
"Everyone witnessed it—Mo Xiu is hell-bent on courting death. The major target has slipped away now. Unless we crush him completely, the Emperor's wrath will descend upon us!"
"Understood!"
Agolotto and his companions responded with icy tones.
...
Central control of the Wind Dome.
From the command chair, Mo Xiu rose and addressed Admiral Roches.
"Roches, the Wind Dome's command is yours now."
"Yes!"
To Mo Xiu, Roches gave a salute.
Directly beside him, Mo Xiu headed to the moving platform!
Ka!
Downward the whole platform descended.
Quickly, Hangar 0 was reached, featuring two stationed Mechas.
A sixty-meter-high Mecha occupied the left side, constructed from cyan metal armor fully, adorned with unique wind engravings, gripping two cyan Super Particle Light Blades via its keen metal talons, four cyan Light Wings sets installed on the rear, shoulders bearing a red sun, ten Red Moons, and thirteen Black Moons, the V Generation Pure Mechanical Mecha·Wind Messenger (top version) decorated with countless stars.
The right side held a hundred-twenty-meter-high Mecha, its humanoid metal skull forged from scarce dark blue alloy, etched with distinctive thunder motifs, clasping two Thunder Pattern Blades in its razor-sharp metal grips, a blue light circle set into the torso, six pairs of blue Light Wings on the back, the whole frame crackling with intense lightning bolts, the VI Generation Mecha·Thunder Angel.
Right then, beneath the two Mechas' bases stood a frail old man, his frame slender, head full of white hair, face etched with severity, gaze piercing, clad in cyan Symbiotic Armor, radiating an intimidating and perilous presence.
This elder was precisely General Helagar, serving also as Mo Xiu's instructor.
Slowly lifting his gaze, Helagar's dim eyes fixed on Mo Xiu as he inquired.
"Will you pilot the Thunder Angel, or should I?"
"Let me do it!"
To Helagar, Mo Xiu answered.
"Alright!"
In agreement, Helagar nodded.
...
Across the starry expanse.
Boarding hatches on the Blood Ridge Fortress, Wailing Spirit, and additional vessels opened one by one.
Myriad Mechas poured forth from those hatches, assembling into arrays amid the stars.
Next, a scarlet silhouette burst from the Blood Ridge Fortress, soaring to lead the vast Mecha fleet. An enormous hundred-meter Mecha sported a grotesque crocodile-like metal cranium inlaid with twin crimson orbs, a bulky form sheathed in dense dark red plating carved with warped designs,
clutching a Blood Gun rife with elaborate etchings in its icy talons, four pairs of red Light Wings sprouting from its back, exuding a horrifying energy—the Pseudo-VI Generation Mecha·Master of Blood materialized before all eyes.
Piloting this machine was Aus himself. Despite his prior humiliating loss, the Emperor spared any reprimand and bestowed upon him a fresh Mecha instead.
Then, a dark beam of light erupted from the Legendary Level Star Destroyer·Wailing Spirit's portal, hastening to join Aus. Agolotto was the pilot. Yet, his Black Soul Mecha had transformed dramatically, becoming a 100-meter-tall bio-Mecha encased in pitch-black plating, the chest-embedded eye now shadowy, pulsing with fearsome energy waves, nearby space warping, upgraded from a V Generation Biological Mecha to a Pseudo-VI Generation Biological Mecha.
Shortly after, Dixis, Maiwuer, Cafrolin, Lorina, and the rest surged into combat aboard their V Generation Mechas.
Now, Sky Dome City's Third Legion Commander, Fakadis, at the helm of a sixty-meter V Generation Pure Mechanical Mecha·Death Butcher (high-end version), draped in ebony heavy plating with embedded unique motifs, left hand wielding a round Giant Shield, right hand brandishing an ebony Mechanical Giant Axe, four pairs of ebony Light Wings on the back, shoulders displaying nine Red Moons, eight Black Moons, and myriad stars, guided his forces toward the Dark Star Empire's left flank.
The Luoqi Commander, steering the V Generation Mecha·Sky Splitting Apostle, directed a host of Mechanical Army Mechas from the right.
Just then, the primary hatch of the Legendary Level Star Destroyer·Wind Dome swung wide.
Swish swish!
Hordes of Mechas flooded out, swiftly organizing into ranks.
Following closely, two radiant streaks darted from the opening, positioning themselves at the vanguard of the Mecha legions.
Instantly, the Wind Messenger and Thunder Angel emerged into sight.
Upon spotting the VI Generation Mecha·Thunder Angel, Aus and his allies tensed up immediately.
Right then, Mo Xiu's cocky voice echoed through the open comms channel.
"Aus, come at me together if you dare!"
"Arrogant!"
Fury instantly gripped Aus, Agolotto, and the others.
All of them drove their Mechas straight at Mo Xiu and his group.
"Kill!"
Upon Mo Xiu's order, he alone propelled the VI Generation Mecha·Thunder Angel into the fray.
At the same time, General Helagar commanded the forces against the Dark Star Empire's Mechanical Army.
A brutal clash erupted throughout the starry void.
Now, Agolotto, controlling the Black Soul Mecha, parted its jaws, amassing a dread Kais Beam and firing it across vast distances at Mo Xiu.
With skillful control, Mo Xiu guided the Thunder Angel to evade the strike effortlessly.
Aus and his comrades fired their Mechas' beams at Mo Xiu in rapid succession.
Ultimately, Mo Xiu nimbly piloted the Thunder Angel, evading every assault at speeds rivaling lightning and light itself, then, akin to a thunderbolt, closed in on the leading Agolotto.
"Good timing!"
A guttural shout escaped Agolotto as the full Pseudo-VI Generation Biological Mecha·Black Soul's dark cells writhed, surging with savage black electricity, ready to clash head-on with the Thunder Angel.
In the cosmic expanse, the pair smashed together violently, sending out a colossal blast wave.
Like a shooting star, the Black Soul Mecha hurtled rearward.
