Reborn As Noble Chapter 1505: A Sleepy Start to the Day ( 1505 )

Javier smiled and shook his head, watching the officer walk away before stretching his body with a soft groan. He glanced back into his room, where his huge bed was filled with sleeping figures; Liana, Gloria, Felicia, Delya, Mimi, and Gracelle, all tangled together under the blankets, their breathing soft and steady.
Hmm... I wonder how I ended up in bed with everyone?
Javier rubbed his chin thoughtfully, his gaze drifting upward as he tried to recall the events of the previous night.
I was doing Liana inside the storage room.
And then Gloria came knocking, as usual, always seems to know when Liana and I are together.
Well... that’s what I love about her.
And then... err...
Javier let out a weary exhale, scratching the back of his head as his memory grew fuzzy.
I hope I didn’t walk toward the room while doing it. That would have been... awkward.
I better ask Liana once she gets up.
From the looks of it, I think I ended up doing everyone last night.
Javier shrugged, a faint, tired smile touching his lips before he stepped out of the room, closing the door gently behind him. He walked across the hallway to the room opposite his own, raised his hand, and knocked softly.
The door opened slightly, and a sleepy face peeked out from behind it.
"Oh... Brother-in-law... I thought it was Sister Liana."
Lyzia opened the door wider, her eyes still half-closed with sleep. She was wearing loose pajamas that slipped slightly off her shoulder, revealing a generous glimpse of her cleavage without her even realizing it.
Javier’s eyes instinctively fixed on the exposed skin, a sly grin spreading across his face as he wiggled his eyebrows.
"Nice view in the morning. Thank you~"
Lyzia narrowed her eyes, giving him a flat, unimpressed look before mumbling, "Pervert brother-in-law..."
"What?" Javier shrugged casually, his grin never fading. "You’re the one who showed it. And it’s not like every man in the world would miss an opportunity like that."
Lyzia tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, her expression still sleepy but now carrying a hint of mild annoyance. "I’m not going to show it to anyone else, so you should be grateful to see such a view in the morning."
She paused, her voice shifting to a more serious tone. "Now, what does my brother-in-law need?"
"Is Celine awake yet?"
Lyzia narrowed her eyes again, glancing up at him with suspicion. "Why do you need my best friend this early in the morning?"
She noticed his gaze was still lingering on her cleavage and gave him another sharp, narrow-eyed look.
Javier made a funny face before replying, his voice light and playful. "Your best friend is one of my future wives, of course I want to see her."
Lyzia rolled her eyes, mumbling under her breath. "You want to see your seventh wife, and yet you’re ogling another girl’s boobs. Not to mention, your own sister-in-law..."
Javier gave her another playful look, his grin widening. "Well, you should be the one covering yourself if you don’t want to be admired like that~"
Lyzia huffed softly, her cheeks flushing slightly. "She’s still sleeping in the bed."
"Oh... can you wake her up?"
Lyzia gave him a narrow, suspicious look before shaking her head. "Celine is your wife, so you should be the one to wake her up. It’s more romantic that way, isn’t it? Being woken up by your own husband in the morning."
"Ah, right. Ehehe~"
Javier was about to slip past her when Lyzia suddenly grabbed his arm, holding him back. He turned, glancing down at her with a curious expression. "Hmm? Lyzia?"
He grinned, wiggling his eyebrows teasingly. "What’s this? Are you trying to give me some morning service~?"
Lyzia puffed her cheek and shot him a narrow glare, then fidgeted slightly, her eyes darting away as she mumbled, "Um... Brother-in-law... are you busy after this?"
Javier crossed his arms, rubbing his chin with one hand while his eyes drifted back to her cleavage. His expression turned calm and casual. "What is this about?"
He let his gaze linger for a moment before continuing, his voice light. "If you want to be one of my partners, it’s best if you go directly to Liana. She handles those things."
Lyzia slapped his arm, her cheeks puffing out as she protested, "It’s nothing like that!" But her eyes glistened with something unreadable.
"Okay, okay! Sheesh. It’s just a joke." Javier raised both hands with a cheeky grin before clearing his throat. He straightened his posture, reached out, and gently tilted her chin up with his finger, his expression shifting into that of a cool, charming gentleman. "Now then, what can I do for you?"
Lyzia averted her eyes, her cheeks flushing as she mumbled something under her breath.
"Hmm? Say it clearly." Javier tilted his head, his smirk returning. "My ears aren’t like a beastman’s, you know. I can’t hear that."
"I... if you’re not busy... can... can you help me... with... with my training?"
Javier gave her another suspicious look before scratching his cheek, "Isn’t Liana helping with everyone’s training?"
Lyzia nodded softly, her voice dropping low. "She is... but I still can’t pass the first test before the actual test."
Javier narrowed his eyes, his tone curious. "You mean the carrying tray on the narrow bridge over the pit?"
Lyzia fidgeted even more, her cheeks flushing red as she stayed silent.
Javier rubbed his chin, mumbling thoughtfully. "That test was designed to train the mind, balance, focus, and emotional stability. It’s meant to teach control under pressure, to keep your movements steady no matter what’s happening around you. The tray, the narrow bridge, the pit below... it’s all about discipline and concentration."
He paused, turning his gaze back to her. "It’s the first test, but it was for maids transitioning into battle maids, to help them maintain their composure under pressure and move with precision."
He glanced back at her, his voice carrying a hint of surprise. "Wait... you can’t even lift the empty tray yet?"
Lyzia fidgeted further, her eyes glistening as she shook her head in silence.
"Whoa... really?" Javier pinched the bridge of his nose, letting out a slow breath. "Are you still activating your magic skills with incantations?"
Lyzia pursed her lips, her eyes glistening as she nodded, averting her gaze from him.
Javier exhaled softly before a warm smile spread across his face. He reached out, gently patting her head and running his fingers through her hair before leaning down to meet her eyes.
"Alright. I’ll see what I can do to help you with that."
Lyzia pursed her lips, her lower lip trembling slightly as her eyes glistened with emotion. Before Javier could react, she threw herself forward, wrapping her arms around him tightly and burying her face against his chest. Her voice came out muffled, soft, and grateful.
"Thank you, Brother-in-law..."
Javier felt her soft breasts press against his body, a cheeky grin spreading across his face as he let out a low, amused chuckle. "Ehe~ Eheheh~"
He rubbed the back of his head, enjoying the warmth of the embrace, before he flinched, catching a sharp glare from the doorway. He turned his head slowly, his grin freezing as he swallowed hard.
"Ah... L... Liana..."
Lyzia quickly pulled back from the hug, turning to face Liana and bowing respectfully. "Morning... Sister."
Liana smiled sweetly, her eyes carrying a dangerous glint as she tilted her head. "Lyzia, head inside and wake up Celine. I have something important to discuss with your brother-in-law."
She turned her gaze toward Javier, her smile never faltering as she reached out and grabbed his collar, pulling him close. "And you... I have something important to discuss with you."
Javier raised both hands, his voice shaky as he tried to explain. "Ah... L... Liana... I... I..."
The door closed behind them, and a moment later, Lyzia flinched as she heard Javier’s desperate scream echo through the hallway.
"Lianaaaa! I didn’t mean anything! Arghh!! My hair! My beautiful hair!!"
