Reborn as an Extra Chapter 807: The ’Fated Miracle’ And The ’Goddess of Life’. Part-5.

Due to extreme exhaustion, Bela remained in a coma for three days.
When she finally woke up, she found herself sleeping on a crudely made bed in a small hut.
"You are finally awake! I was worried that you might have suffered some kind of internal or mental damage from that miasmic corruption attack."
"How are you feeling right now?"
Hearing the familiar voice of Nova, Bela slowly came back to her senses as the memories of the recent event returned to her mind.
"I am fine. Just a bit exhausted... Used too much power in that attack to deal with the demons."
Although the attack had easily erazed four S-rank demons and injured Rahn in an instant, its consumption was massive, and the load it put on her mind and soul was tremendous.
Thankfully the people ambushing her were demons; otherwise, she would have had to fight a long brutal battle to escape from such a sudden ambush.
"We were too naïve; if we can sense the birth of the ’Fated Miracle,’ obviously there would be others who must have sensed it too..."
"Especially those powerful old demons that have all kinds of strange abilities..."
"They can easily guess the general location where the ’Child of Miracle’ might be living."
Bela couldn’t help but sigh thinking about this.
"Although it’s impossible for them to break the rules of the heavens and directly target the child of heavens easily, they can certainly lay an ambush around the area in wait of people who might try to seek the ’Fated Miracle’ like us..."
"Rahn and his group likely already knew that we will try to search for the child of heaven, and that’s why he decided to lay an ambush for us... unfortunately, we fell for his trap like fools..."
Bela was very unhappy about how impatiently and incautiously she had been acting recently.
In the world of powerful awakeners like them, where a single S-ranker can shatter mountains with his fist and reverse the flow of rivers with a mere swing of a sword, carelessness is a grave sin.
A single moment of carelessness can easily overturn even the most stable and experienced ships, causing them to sink straight to the bottom of the ocean!
"Sigh, you are being too dramatic, Bela. Although we were careless this time, that carelessness has actually helped us accomplish our greatest goal of this trip!"
"We have met the ’Fated Miracle’; if we can establish a friendship with him..."
"We will surely be able to revive the fairy race, protect the ones that are being constantly hunted, and can even fulfill your dream of saving the world and making it a better place!"
Nova’s eyes shone with excitement and a newfound sense of hope.
Seeing those bright eyes, Bela was shocked for a moment but then realized the reason behind this sudden change.
Originally, ever since the Kenorland Incident, Nova had been living in guilt and regret.
Although running away with Bela was the best choice in that moment, Nova still regretted that she couldn’t save her people and couldn’t do anything to stop the tyranny of the humans and demons.
Even after running away, she and Bela both kept being pursued by the demon and human race.
Every time they stopped somewhere to rest, that place got destroyed in order to find them. Any time someone showed them kindness or tried to speak up for them, they got either killed or tortured to death.
In the past decades, Nova and Bela have lived in constant fear and desperation.
Their shoulders were burdened with guilt and regret, and both of them were barely surviving only for the sake of living one more day.
Fulfilling dreams and ambitions was simply too out of their reach because they couldn’t even guarantee the safety of their own lives, let alone save their dreams.
Due to this constant life of desperation, their eyes that used to be filled with hope for the future were now starting to lose their color.
’Now that we have met the ’Child of Heavens’ the literal symbol of ’Hope’, it is only natural that Nova will be affected and will gain back her dreams...’
No one knew what it meant to be favored by the world better than her who had been blessed by the overwhelming favor of the ’World’ and had the support of the ’Laws’.
Bela instinctively knew from the very bottom of her soul that her destiny was intertwined with the child of heavens, and if she didn’t grab this chance, she would forever lose her ’Hope’ of ever achieving her dreams.
"By the way, you have been sleeping for three days. Would you like something to eat?"
"Although it’s night right now, I can cook something for you if you like..."
Hearing Nova’s caring words, Bela shook her head.
"I am not feeling hungry right now. Tell me about the current situation first; my heart won’t be able to calm down and rest properly until I know about the details of this matter."
As if noticing the excited look on Bela’s face, Nova nodded her head.
It wasn’t surprising that Bela was eager to meet the child of miracles and wanted to know more about him, because Nova had been the same when she met the other party face to face.
If not for Bela’s injury, Nova would have stuck to the child all day long, pestering him about various things.
For fairies, the ’Child of Heavens’ was like a sun in the dark void; it was a source of light, hope, and warmth. The thought of serving as the subordinate of such a great existence was extremely tempting not only for Nova but for other fairies too.
Nova was sure that if the royal fairies hadn’t gone extinct from the world, they would have likely been the first group to establish a fully fledged subordinate organization for the child of heavens!
"So, after you fainted, I introduced you and myself to the Child of Heavens and asked for his name..."
With a happy smile on her face, Nova spoke,
"His name is ’Allen Von Reinhart’!!"
