Vritra's team pushed the gods to their limits, utilizing powerful attacks that subdued several of them. As the battle intensified, both sides became more coordinated, with Vritra's team slowly gaining an advantage. However, the gods, realizing the danger, prepared to unleash their final trump cards, which were granted by higher beings. The sun god contemplated which of two commanders to accept aid from, ultimately deciding to use both to their advantage.

"Back off," Vritra called as they all moved back, creating some distance, feeling great danger.

The atmosphere around the battlefield changed the instant the scrolls appeared. Even without knowing what they contained, the power within them was enough to make everyone instinctively remain cautious. No one on Vritra's side moved carelessly, and even the gods no longer looked as relaxed as before.

The sudden change in the gods' expressions made even those around them feel the pressure, and the battlefield became strangely quiet for a moment.

On the other side, the sun god took out two scrolls containing immense power. He could feel that once they were unleashed,

the other party would die right on the spot without any surprise.

"We have played with you for long enough, it is now time to end this charade. Don't hate me for using this, I am just depending on my own cheat." The sun god said calmly.

"Hahaha Finally! We should have used it from the beginning, there is no way some kids can take our positions." The baby god laughed loudly.

Pointing his candy towards the group of ten.

"Are you sure? Using both, isn't that too dangerous?" only the book god was somewhat solemn.

Feeling that something was wrong, he had missed something but he couldn't actually guess what it was.

"Yes, it is fine. This is a risk we must take, and a gamble this big, we will benefit greatly if those above us win. The ceiling will rise higher, so we will definitely have more space to raise our heads." The sun god coolly replied.

On the other side, the ten people had grim expressions.

"What are you doing? Isn't that against the rules? I set the rule that no external support obtained from others could be used." Vritra said, staring at the two scrolls.

"Haha." The gods gave a light chuckle.

"Kid, you are still too young. You all were in too much of a hurry to reach a place far out of your reach."

"Regret it in your next life—oops, there won't be a next life, haha."

"I would have loved to say this is nothing personal, but it is very personal. We all hate you, and would cherish the moment of your deaths very much."

One by one, all of the gods said something, especially the baby god who couldn't stop himself.

The sun god held the new commander's scroll in his left hand while the 9th commander's scroll was in his right.

He was planning to use the 9th commander's scroll first. If this could get the job done perfectly, then he wouldn't have to take the risk of using the other.

Yet just at that moment, a thought popped in his mind.

'Why not use the other scroll first?'

The moment this thought appeared, it began to take root in his mind.

Yes, the newest commander would be less dangerous and vicious than the old fox.

The new commander would give them more space to grow.

This was the best choice. Using the other scroll was such a stupid thing to do.

Why would he even think that? He immediately scolded his past self.

But the book god's feeling became more and more chaotic. He was feeling that something was very, very wrong.

Instinctively, his gaze moved towards the rules present on one of the walls, and he was startled to see that now there was one more law.

So negligible and minor that none of them had even noticed it.

But seeing that rule filled the book god with unspeakable horror, filling him with countless questions.

The book god stared at the tiny addition to the wall as though it were more terrifying than the battle itself. The other gods did not understand what he had noticed, but his reaction alone showed that the harmless-looking sentence carried a meaning they had completely overlooked.

How can that be? He knows? But why would this guy create such a law?

The new law simply stated.

[People new in their positions are often less harmless.]

No way!

'This rule, although it seems meaningless, is directly influencing the sun god to choose the new scroll. A trap!!'

It is a trap.

Just as this curtain was pulled off, many thoughts filled his mind and an unbelievable idea popped up.

Whether it was really true or not didn't matter, he needed to stop the sun god before that.

"It's a tra—" but right as he spoke, the injuries on his body worsened and he almost lost consciousness.

'What was happening?!!'

His gaze moved towards Vritra, who was smiling towards him.

[Forbidden Writ: Shouting is injurious to health!]

Vritra's body started to crack as he used forbidden, but this time he hadn't used it to affect the whole arena. Instead, he only targeted the book god.

So, the puppet body didn't explode on the spot, just got severely injured, and had no more strength to fight.

But there was no more need to fight, it was the end game!

The sun god glanced at the book god and saw him grimace, his injuries worsening as he screamed, and the worsening injuries made him scream even more.

'These damn ants used our own attacks against us and injured poor book this viciously, his field isn't even fighting.' The sun god felt pity.

To him it seemed the book god kept screaming in pain and grimacing while the book god was trying to shout at him to stop.

But that action only made him do it quickly.

Without wasting anymore time, having already mocked their opponents, much to the book god's horror and among the laughs of the gods,

he inserted his mana into the left scroll as it burst into tiny sparks.

In the next instant, shocking even the judges and waking up Fader and Adam, something unbelievable happened.

A flurry of explosive and lightning flew towards the sky, directly passing through the ceiling and revealing the hidden location of this arena.

Although the higher beings can enter, it was present inside the Vespera realm, hidden from everyone.

Yet now the location had been so openly revealed to everyone, the expressions of everyone changed to disbelief, then to anger.

BOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Instantly, as if responding to the 'signal', an explosion that shook the entire arena and outside place sounded.

Little by little, the entire place started to break apart. The arena that was so grand and made with such high-grade material failed to endure it.

Most of the higher beings who didn't fight and just enjoyed their life all panicked. They began to run here and there. They weren't afraid of the wall falling on their heads.

That was a small issue.

But what if another explosion like that came? What if enemies started a slaughter?

This scared them all.

Outside the arena, the sudden disturbance spread panic faster than anyone could react. Cracks continued to spread through the structure while the higher beings searched for safety, and the audience was now filled with confusion and fear. Whatever had just happened was clearly far beyond an ordinary attack.

"Father, it is the Holy Righteous Heretics! They have committed treason!" Just then Evelyn burst into the arena, an enraged expression adorning her beautiful face.

We are done for…

The gods fell back in a daze.
