Vritra consoled Teresa after she misunderstood his telepathic conversation, reaffirming his feelings for her. They exchanged rings, solidifying their bond, and she prepared to leave the Ford palace with him. However, Sir Giant and Shen opposed Teresa's departure due to safety concerns. As the debate continued, a masked figure emerged from black smoke, announcing his intention to take Teresa.

"Are you Teresa Ford?" Smog demanded, his eyes fixed on the woman who was completely hidden beneath her layers of clothing.

"Sigh, she isn't going to go with you," Sir Giant interjected. Despite being retired, his knowledge of the Golden Moon was extensive, and he had no intention of letting his granddaughter be taken there.

"These are direct orders from the Oracle; I have no choice in the matter," Smog replied. Seeing the way several people moved to shield the woman, he was now certain she was indeed Teresa.

"Bring him here if you wish, but my granddaughter is staying right here," Sir Giant declared with unwavering firmness.

'I cannot overpower Sir Giant with my current strength, especially with so many other lords present. It seems a different approach is necessary.'

After a brief moment of deliberation, Smog decided to address Teresa herself.

"Teresa Ford, come with me willingly or your entire family will suffer the consequences. Given your status and unique abilities, a normal life is unfortunately beyond your reach. For the sake of your kin, come and simply have a conversation with the Oracle," Smog urged.

"Oh, are you threatening us now? That Oracle brat has certainly grown bold. Return to him; I shall be paying him a visit personally very soon," Sir Giant retorted, his voice trembling with fury.

They were all aware of Teresa’s gentle nature; she was a soul who lived to help others and abhorred causing pain.

Sending her there would result in a fate worse than death—either a life of forced labor or a swift end as they harvested the misfortunes of others through her.

"You are misunder—" Smog began, unable to leave empty-handed, but he was abruptly cut off.

"You wish to take Teresa? Fine, go ahead. But tell me, how exactly do you plan to transport her?" Vritra asked, a question that left everyone in the vicinity speechless.

"What are you saying—" Shen shouted in disbelief.

"You realize we stand no chance against the Golden Moon or the Divine Kage. If we refuse to comply, both our families will be annihilated," Vritra explained, his gaze shifting toward one of the seats.

"Oh, uhm, a wise decision. You must be her husband. I’ve heard of your strength, and it appears you possess intellect as well. As for the journey, she can simply follow me through the air," Smog replied, nodding with a sense of satisfaction.

Finally, a path to success had opened up.

"No, no, that won't do. You are aware of how frail Tess is; do you really expect her to fly such a distance? Not to mention the catastrophe that would occur if she accidentally brushed against anyone," Vritra said, shaking his head as if her well-being was his sole priority.

"Oh? Then what do you propose?" Smog inquired. He hadn't considered the logistics and wasn't even sure he would succeed until now.

Shen, Sir Giant, and Gunter all attempted to protest, but Vritra silenced them with a sharp gesture, refusing to let them intervene.

"Do not fret, I must ensure my wife is properly cared for, so I have already devised a method," Vritra stated. He manifested a long, heavy chain from dust, transmuted it into solid metal, and held it out.

To the onlookers, it appeared as though he had simply retrieved the item from his inventory.

Walking forward, he fastened one end of the chain around Teresa’s feet while she watched him in total confusion. He then handed the other end to Smog.

"Use this. Fly at your maximum speed. With your assistance, she will be able to keep up," Vritra instructed as Smog grasped the chain.

Smog felt a nagging suspicion that something was amiss, yet he couldn't quite identify the problem.

Nearby, Vanessa and the others watched the scene, barely able to suppress their laughter.

"What do you think you're doing? Weren't you just bragging about protecting her? And at the first sign of trouble, you're just going to—"

Sir Giant reached out to grab the chain, but Vritra shoved him back.

"Old man, stop buzzing around. You don't have much life left in you anyway. It wouldn't be right if you died the day after our wedding, would it?" Vritra remarked before turning back to Smog.

"What are you waiting for? Move now before they try to interfere. Go as fast as you can, and do not stop until you reach your headquarters."

Upon hearing those words, Smog was overcome with joy. He had completed such a vital mission with ease.

Infiltrating the Ford realm and taking their daughter was supposed to be a suicidal task, yet he had triumphed.

Smog turned and ascended with all his power. Within seconds, he had soared out of the Ford realm.

"Aaaaaaaaah! S- Saveeeee meeeee!"

The illusion shattered. Teresa was still standing exactly where she had been.

The chain was actually pulling someone else; the force nearly tore a leg off as Sakshi was dragged away, her face slamming into the dirt.

She tried desperately to anchor herself, but only succeeded in mangling her fingers and nails. Her strength was nowhere near Smog’s level.

Under the stunned gazes of everyone present, Sakshi vanished from the Ford realm, skidding across the terrain and colliding with every obstacle in her path.

"Now that the matter is settled, we are leaving," Vritra announced, returning to his spot and taking Teresa’s hand.

She was just as bewildered as the rest of them. Teresa hadn't been under the influence of the illusion and had seen exactly what her husband was up to.

Contrary to what the others assumed, he had protected her once again.

"T- That!" Shen cried out, hurriedly flying off in an attempt to rescue the woman.

However, her screams continued to echo from the distance, growing hoarse as her throat gave out from the strain.

Gunter, Ava, Fiona, Diana, and the rest boarded the vehicles. Vritra’s women decided to travel together with them.

Vritra and Teresa remained outside for a moment, as they would be departing in a separate transport.

Recovering from his shock, Sir Giant turned to them and spoke, "You saw that, didn't you? Now that her secret is out, more people will come hunting for her. She must remain here."

"Haa, that's enough. Do you view her as some tool to be locked away and forced to work for you? If you obstruct me one more time, I will make you regret it," Vritra said, his expression turning cold and empty.

"Let's just go," Tess whispered, tugging at his sleeve to prevent a fight.

Vritra gently helped Teresa into the vehicle and sat down beside her.

But Sir Giant, driven by both concern and the fear that the Ford family’s power would wane without her, refused to let her leave.

"No matter what happens, she is not leaving this realm—" he started, shaking his head.

His sentence was cut short as Vritra suddenly blurred, appearing directly in front of Sir Giant. A seemingly light punch was launched toward the old man's chest.

The strike looked slow, yet it reached its target in an instant.

Sir Giant had no time to evade; he could only focus on maximizing his defense.

Immediately, his skin took on a greyish hue and his muscles expanded slightly.

BOOOOOOM!!

The moment the "light" punch connected with Sir Giant, his formidable defenses shattered instantly.

A massive hole was blown through his torso, and the shockwave leveled a significant portion of the palace behind them. His body was sent hurtling dozens of kilometers away.

Vritra had barely exerted any effort; the chasm between a Demi God and a Lord was simply too vast.
