Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 550 Humbled

Smog arrived to take Teresa Ford away on the Oracle's orders, threatening her family if she refused. Vritra, Teresa's husband, shocked everyone by seemingly agreeing to hand her over, even providing a chain to bind her for the journey. However, it was an illusion, and another woman was dragged away instead. Afterward, Vritra lashed out at Sir Giant for trying to prevent Teresa from leaving, delivering a devastating punch that sent him flying.

Teresa sat in the car, her mind filled with peaceful thoughts of a future with her husband, completely oblivious to the violent struggle happening outside.

Vritra shifted through space once more, appearing directly in front of the battered old man. Sir Giant was coughing violently; though his injuries were severe, they were not yet fatal.

Bending over, Vritra seized Sir Giant by the head and hauled him out from the debris.

“Since you are so confident about being able to protect her, then let's see if you truly can.”

With those words, he triggered an innate power belonging to his new race.

[Devouring the Giant's Physique!]

The area was immediately drowned out by Sir Giant's agonized screams. His physical form began to waste away as a surge of essence poured into Vritra’s own body.

This wasn't mere mana; it was the fundamental energy that constituted his very being. His unique constitution was being harvested.

“S- Stop, cough…” Sir Giant struggled to find his voice, coughing up crimson sprays as he felt his vitality drain away.

Vritra considered extracting his core as well, but he knew doing so would end the old man's life instantly.

He decided to leave the core intact for the time being.

Utilizing Null, he generated a localized field around them where time flowed significantly faster than the world outside.

Before long, Sir Giant began to look withered. Though he maintained his status as a lord, his power had been drastically diminished.

It was his specialized physique that had granted him such immense strength, but now, it was gone.

[You have successfully stolen the Giant's Physique!]

[Your Physique grows stronger.]

Vritra finally released his grip, allowing the old man to collapse weakly back into the ruins.

As he processed the change, Vritra noted that this acquisition surpassed even Dago's physique. The sensation of his power expanding, even by a small margin, was deeply satisfying.

“Oh Grandpa, what happened to you? Who did this to you?”

A look of mock concern crossed Vritra’s face. He knelt down and produced a high-grade healing potion brewed by Diana.

He forced the liquid down the throat of the dazed elder, and the effects were instantaneous as the wounds began to seal.

Within a minute, the old man's color returned; he was still a lord, after all, and possessed a resilient foundation.

“Are you okay? At your age, you should be resting. What are you doing going around and picking fights with young people?”

Vritra assisted Sir Giant to his feet, though the old man was now paralyzed with terror.

‘W- What sort of monster is he?! D- Did we make a mistake by marrying Teresa to him? He is a complete psycho…’

Watching Vritra act so helpfully sent a cold shiver down Sir Giant’s spine.

In a short time, the physical damage was gone. While he appeared more aged and fragile, his life was no longer in danger.

However, his combat strength had plummeted.

“Hurry up and get changed. You can't send off your dear granddaughter like that, right? And make sure to behave properly, or the Fords might become extinct.”

Vritra remarked, giving the man a casual pat on the shoulder.

He then turned and strolled back to the car, leaving a trembling Sir Giant in his wake.

“…Did Grandpa agree?” Teresa inquired as Vritra climbed back into the vehicle.

“Why wouldn't he? I just showed a bit of my super strength and he allowed it. Who could protect you better than me?”

Vritra replied, meeting her dark gaze.

A minute later, Sir Giant showed up again, having changed into a fresh set of clothes.

The onlookers had been frozen in place during the confrontation between Vritra and Sir Giant.

They remained ignorant of the brief skirmish that had resulted in the Ford family's strongest warrior being utterly humiliated in seconds.

‘Just who is he? His strength is terrifying. Is he someone from the Divine Kage or some powerful hidden organization?’

Sir Giant’s hands shook as he came to a halt beside the decorated car.

“Teresa, take care of yourself. I- I will come to meet you soon. J- Just promise me that you will protect her.”

Sir Giant spoke, his eyes darting nervously between Teresa and Vritra.

“Of course I will. Goodbye, enjoy your rest.”

Vritra dismissed him, and the convoy began to move shortly after.

“Great Grandpa, what's wrong?” Rich asked, observing Sir Giant. The elder seemed to have aged years in a single moment.

“…It is nothing, I am just sad about her departure.”

Sir Giant answered, glancing back at the shattered building.

Vritra had purposefully demolished Teresa’s old room, a clear sign that she would never return to this place.

Smog was flying at his maximum velocity, leaving Shen unable to close the gap between them.

The arrogant seat only pushed himself harder when he saw Shen, assuming the man was trying to interfere with his objective.

“Wait, wait, that's not Teresa!!” Shen screamed, watching his wife being battered against obstacles as they flew.

Sakshi’s screams continued until they finally reached the Golden Moon headquarters.

“Oracle, I have brought Teresa Ford along with me, the Stealer of Fate. But her brother won't stop following me.”

Smog announced loudly as he stormed into the building, dragging Sakshi behind him.

By now, she was foaming at the mouth and twitching uncontrollably, her skin a map of bruises and cuts.

“Oh, good job—”

The Oracle, who had been deep in his divinations, stepped out into the hall.

He stopped dead when he saw the woman Smog was holding. Without a word, he delivered a sharp slap to Smog’s face.

“You idiot! I told you to bring her here respectfully. What the hell have you done? Why did you drag her here?”

The Oracle roared in frustration.

Clutching his face, Smog looked back, confused. Wasn't she supposedly a lord?

How was it possible she couldn't even fly?

“Wait, are you Teresa Ford?” The Oracle asked, stepping closer. He sensed nothing remarkable from this disheveled woman.

She hadn't even reached the Ford realm.

“Of course she is not. She is Sakshi Ford, my wife. I was trying to stop him but he wouldn't listen to me.”

Shen finally caught up, his blood running cold at the sight of his wife's condition.

SLAP

The Oracle struck Smog again. These fools were incapable of following simple instructions.

“We are sorry for the confusion. I will properly punish him. Please take your wife back.”

The Oracle spoke with forced politeness, mindful of Sir Giant’s lineage.

“Sigh. You people… Sakshi, are you alright?”

Shen clicked his tongue in annoyance and unfastened the chains from her ankles.

“…h- hate him, k- kill him, ughh cough, s- save me…”

She rambled incoherently, her voice cracking. With a heavy sigh and a final glare at the two men, Shen carried her away.

Inside the vehicle, Vritra and Teresa sat close together, their hands entwined as they watched the landscape pass by.

“Hubby, I am finally done with work here. Sigh, I missed such a good show.”

Yasmine’s voice echoed in his mind via transmission.

‘Yeah, but there will be more to come for the Ford family. Anyway, we are now returning to the Yate realm, let's meet there directly.’

Vritra sent back, leaning his head against Teresa’s shoulder.

“Alright, I am missing you already. Plus I need you to fill me again. Don't forget your first wife. Sob, poor me has to fight for your affection against so many women.”

Yasmine teased in a dramatic tone.

‘Yes, yes, my queen. We will do as you say.’

Vritra thought, mentally shaking his head.

“Husband…” Teresa whispered, a hint of homesickness touching her voice.

Vritra gave her hand a reassuring squeeze before lifting it to his lips, kissing the back of her hand tenderly.

“Hmm.”

He hummed softly. His affection for her had grown after seeing her choose him over her own kin.

Now that she belonged solely to him, he intended to shower her with endless devotion.
