After witnessing mysterious orbs vanish, Lu Ze found himself mercilessly pursued by a growing pack of deadly rabbits across a vast grassy plain. He was eventually mortally wounded by an unseen assailant and awoke back on Earth, confused and questioning the reality of his experience. However, he soon discovered an internal dimension containing the very orbs he once lost. Upon consuming them, he realized their incredible power to refine his body and dramatically enhance his physical strength.

Suddenly, a strange odor wafted toward Lu Ze. Glancing downward, he noticed a layer of dark, grimy substance oozing from his pores, emitting a foul, rancid stench.

His face twisted in disgust. So, the legendary marrow cleansing was actually a genuine phenomenon.

This was unbearable; the stench was so revolting he felt like hurling.

He scrambled up, dashed out of his bedroom, and sprinted into the bathroom to scrub himself clean.

As the hot water poured over him, Lu Ze released a sigh of relief. Enduring two transmigrations in a single night had pushed him to his limits, but as the water rinsed away the grime, his frayed nerves finally began to settle.

Once clean, he dried off and examined his reflection in the mirror. With the impurities purged, his skin now appeared noticeably fairer and more refined. It looked even better than his sister’s, he mused—would she be green with envy if she saw it?

A faint smile tugged at his lips at the thought.

Abruptly, the bathroom door swung open and a figure rushed in.

Lu Ze’s gaze swept over her instinctively. Flowing black hair reached her hips, framing an exquisite, porcelain face with long, expressive eyes and cherry lips. She possessed a graceful stature, a slender waist, and slender legs. She looked like a character plucked straight from an anime.

It was his sister, Lu Li.

Her eyes were still drowsy and her hair was tousled from sleep, but the moment her gaze landed on the stark naked Lu Ze, she froze mid-step.

Clearly, she hadn't anticipated finding him in the bathroom, let alone caught him studying his own reflection. Her eyes lingered on his physique for a heartbeat before realization hit. A deep flush crept across her delicate face as she pivoted and bolted out, slamming the door behind her.

“Lu Ze, we are going to spar later!”

Lu Li’s frigid voice echoed from the hall, laced with a hint of killing intent, which shook Lu Ze back to reality.

He never dreamed she would invade the bathroom at such an hour. In his haste to bathe, he had neglected to lock the door, leading to this awkward encounter.

Still, he didn't dwell on it—she was just his younger sister. Lu Li was beautiful, certainly, but he held no inappropriate thoughts. Only a barbarian would harbor such notions; it was ancient history when humanity relied on such things to preserve the bloodline.

Even if she had seen him, what of it? They had washed together plenty of times as children; there was no need to make a fuss.

Lu Li was gifted far beyond his own ability. Despite being a year younger, she had already advanced to a level seven martial artist and was currently tempering her six internal organs.

This disparity was precisely why Lu Ze trained with such intensity. Having a genius for a little sister put significant pressure on him.

“No way. You saw me naked, so I’m the one who should be offended. Why would I volunteer to get beaten up by you?”

Lu Ze shook his head to himself.

Even with his recent power boost, he was still outmatched by a level seven expert like Lu Li.

“You!” Lu Li sounded piqued from the other side, her chest rising and falling in annoyance.

Her confusion grew quickly. She knew her brother, a total martial arts addict, too well. Why would he say something so intentionally irritating?

More importantly, he had rejected a challenge. It went against everything he stood for!

Lu Ze usually avoided trouble, yet he always jumped at the chance to spar, even though he lost every time. If Lu Li were free, she would usually indulge his persistence.

“Lu Ze, you’ve changed! You actually turned down a match... did a bug eat your brain or something?” Lu Li questioned, sounding genuinely irked.

Lu Ze broke into a cold sweat. It wasn't his brain that had been eaten, but the truth was far stranger.

He rubbed his nose sheepishly, responding, “You don’t get it. I’m currently cultivating my mental state to be as tranquil as a stagnant pool. Soon, I’ll surpass you.”

Lu Li seemed stunned, her lip curling in a dangerous expression. “Oh? So you’re implying that I would lose against you?”

“Don’t believe me? Just watch. I’m telling you this for your own good—never underestimate the young!” Lu Ze declared with a dramatic flair.

This was one of the classic lines he had always dreamed of reciting from his youthful days; he wouldn't miss the chance.

He couldn't resist adding the next trope as well, gasping, “To think, this kid is this terrifying!”

He was not fighting today—not even if he were dragged out or fed to a beast. If he broke his promise, he’d be a mutt!

Humming to himself, he gathered his towel and dirty laundry, tossing the garments into the washing machine.

Suddenly, his face fell. He realized a dire issue: he hadn't brought a change of clothes into the bathroom.

He was completely trapped.

He awkwardly peered toward the door, where Lu Li was still waiting. With a forced, sheepish grin, he called out, “Uh, Li, could you give me a hand, please?”

Just as she began to retort, she caught the pleading tone in his voice. Her eyes lit up with a mischievous glint as she replied with a mock-sweet smile, “Brother, what exactly do you need help with?”

Hearing her gentle tone, Lu Ze felt a surge of warmth. She was truly a considerate sister.

“I forgot to bring fresh clothes,” he explained. “Could you grab some from my room?”

“Of course, just give me a moment,” she chirped, heading to his room. She grabbed some garments but felt too shy to touch his undergarments.

Returning to the door, she smirked, “Brother, your clothes are here.”

Lu Ze felt his hope rise. He cracked the door open and reached out. “Thanks, Li, you’re a lifesaver.”

She was definitely the most thoughtful sibling he could ask for.

Just as he felt a sense of gratitude, Lu Li’s sweet voice cut in. “Brother, if you want these clothes, you have to promise me one thing.”

Lu Ze stiffened. “!?”

He had a sinking sense of dread, but he had no leverage. “What is it, Li?”

Her tone grew sugary sweet as she replied, “It’s simple—just agree to a sparring match with me!”

Lu Ze’s expression soured. He wanted to take back every kind thought he’d had about her. Deep down, this girl was entirely blackhearted!
