Pocket Hunting Dimension Chapter 5: This person is definitely a demon

Upon hearing her words, Lu Ze’s expression shifted. Lu Li merely smiled, showing no inclination to rush him, yet the tension in the room thickened.
Ultimately, Lu Ze let out a sigh. Lacking the necessary shamelessness to simply walk out in his birthday suit, his instinctual embarrassment proved to be his salvation.
“Fine, I accept the conditions.”
Arghhh. That’s right! Today, he was nothing more than a lonely dog!
Woof, woof, woof!
A solo dog is still part of the pack, right?
For Lu Ze, whose years of being single matched his age perfectly, it really didn’t matter one bit.
Upon hearing his confirmation, Lu Li beamed with a victorious grin. “Brother, do go ahead and grab your clothes.”
In that instant, Lu Li’s gentle tone morphed into the siren call of a demon to Lu Ze’s ears.
This girl was absolutely demonic.
Lu Ze scrambled to pull on his garments and exited the bathroom, casting a wary glare at Lu Li. She simply chuckled and stepped inside, allowing him to retreat to his room. He needed to make sure he put on underwear; going without it left him feeling far too exposed and vulnerable.
By the time Lu Ze was dressed, Lu Li had finished tidying up. A glimmer of realization lit up her eyes, though her expression remained fixed in that same slight, sweet smirk.
The mere sight of that smile sent a shiver down Lu Ze’s spine. He felt as if the warmth had completely vanished from the world.
“Lu Ze, let’s head downstairs.” Lu Li chimed happily before bounding toward the lower floor.
With a resigned sigh, Lu Ze followed in her wake.
The Lu family enjoyed a comfortable life. Lu Ze’s father, Lu Wen, had established a clothing brand that gained significant recognition throughout Lan Jiang. His mother, Fu Shuya, served as the firm’s lead designer, the two having built the enterprise from the ground up.
Naturally, their household never struggled with finances.
Because of this, Lu Ze and Lu Li were able to afford high-quality beast meat to assist in their physical cultivation. They inhabited a three-story estate surrounded by an expansive garden, including a 300-square-meter training facility specifically designed for the siblings.
Despite running a successful business, however, Lu Wen’s status lagged behind that of high-level martial artists. Consequently, the parents placed high hopes on their children to attain great strength, shielding them from the harsh realities of the business world.
Upon reaching the training room, Lu Li’s gaze lingered on Lu Ze’s pale skin, her eyes glinting. “Lu Ze, your skin refinement has reached a deeper stage.”
The sudden change in his complexion couldn’t escape the notice of someone who spent every waking moment by his side.
Lu Ze wore a knowing smile as he nodded. “Didn’t I mention the sudden epiphany I had this morning? It’s hardly surprising that I’m becoming stronger. Perhaps I’ll even surpass you soon enough.”
Lu Ze’s claim prompted a soft, amused smile from his sister. “Is that so? I certainly look forward to it. Come on, brother.”
With those words, Lu Li’s slender yet powerful legs moved in a blur as she surged toward him. A wave of light, floral fragrance preceded her as her white palms danced like butterflies toward his chest.
Lu Ze’s eyes narrowed instantly. She was incredibly fast!
Though Lu Li wasn't exerting her full capacity, her level seven strength was formidable. As a prodigy, her strikes carried extra weight, and Lu Ze quickly realized he stood no chance of dodging her assault.
Tensing his muscles, a faint glow rippled across his skin. He braced his arms in front of his chest, channeling every ounce of his power into his defense.
The metaphorical butterfly fluttered past and alighted gently upon his arms.
Yet, that seemingly delicate strike possessed the crushing impact of a falling peak. The force radiated through her small palms, bypasses his guard, and hammered into his chest.
Lu Ze’s heart lurched. He was forced back fourteen steps before he could regain his footing.
Even though he had been sent reeling, a grin broke out across Lu Ze’s face. He had successfully blocked the hit!
His deeper level of physical refinement had clearly bolstered his defenses. If this had occurred yesterday, the force of that palm would have likely sent him sprawling, but now, he only felt a dull numbness in his arms and a slight pressure against his ribs.
Observing that her strike had only pushed him back fourteen steps, Lu Li’s smile faltered into an expression of genuine astonishment. She blinked, staring at her brother for a long moment before murmuring, “You definitely wouldn’t have been able to withstand that yesterday.”
Lu Ze shook his numb hand and chuckled, “Didn’t expect that, did you?”
Lu Li offered a gentle, poised smile. “In that case, I won’t hold back at all today.”
With that, she lunged toward him once more.
Since Lu Ze only possessed basic martial techniques, Lu Li limited herself to the fundamentals. Still, her mastery of these rudimentary movements was vastly superior to his. She drifted around him, fluid and relentless.
As she attacked with newfound ferocity, Lu Ze winced. It seemed that because he could take a punch, she was now determined to beat him into shape.
His little sister’s intentions were truly diabolical!
Ignoring the pain, Lu Ze focused on her movement patterns. He was acutely aware of his own shortcomings; whether it was his cultivation grade or his technical proficiency, he was currently lacking in every department. He resolved to pour more effort into his cultivation going forward.
By observing Lu Li’s footwork while dodging, he began to adapt. While he was hit from every angle initially, he soon managed to evade a few blows. Steadily, his success rate climbed until he could deflect two or three palms out of every ten.
This rapid improvement shocked both siblings, especially given the three-level disparity in their cultivation.
“Is this guy some hidden martial arts genius?” Lu Li whispered to herself. “That’s impossible, right? He was so hopeless before...”
Lu Ze cried out triumphantly, “Hahaha! I really am a prodigy!”
...
After half an hour of intense sparring, Lu Ze had been struck by several hundred palms. Every muscle in his body throbbed, and he could barely remain upright.
Gritting his teeth, he complained, “Lu Li! I formally protest! I strongly criticize your methods! You’re just envious that my innate potential is outpacing your own!”
Lu Li kept her serene smile intact. “Brother, I am simply drawing out your hidden potential. Your fundamental movement technique has improved so drastically only because you were terrified of getting hit by me, weren't you? See? Now you have mastered the basics. It’s all thanks to my hard work.”
Lu Ze was left speechless. He certainly was in agony from the thrashing, and that pain was precisely why his reflexes had sharpened so rapidly. Although her logic held up, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was deeply wrong.
He felt a chill settle over him as he gazed at Lu Li’s sweet, innocent expression.
“Here,” Lu Li tossed a small vial of pale blue serum toward him. “Drink it. You shouldn’t let any hidden traumas fester.”
This was a DNA serum. At the current level of martial artistry, one still hadn't fully tempered their internal organs, meaning the body’s natural recovery rate remained limited. Failing to treat such injuries promptly could result in permanent, internal damage.
Lu Ze caught the bottle and drained it in a single gulp. It tasted sweet and sour, reminiscent of strawberry milk. It was surprisingly pleasant.
