Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven Chapter 510: Star Spirits

Upon Grey's return to the Nexus Domain, its size had once again magnified exponentially. More structures dotted the landscape, and law enforcers maintained a constant presence. Everywhere, conversations revolved around the simulation tower, a place where individuals leveled up to acquire genuine power.
"It's a novel technological marvel, a testament to the Saint's brilliant creation. I had my clone cultivate there, and I must admit, I'm thoroughly impressed. It seamlessly blends virtual reality with tangible progress, and the most astonishing aspect is that one genuinely gains power from it."
"Truly remarkable."
Grey merely shook his head. "Masterpiece? It's merely a rudimentary trick involving reality manipulation and the mecha race's data energy."
Yet, he acknowledged internally that such an act was far easier said than accomplished.
The manipulation of the information layer proved exceedingly difficult.
Meanwhile, the Blue Star, now comparable in size to the other floating islands, was suspended in the air.
"Hey Gaia, would you like to merge with the planet? Manage it for me?" Grey inquired, a touch of curiosity in his voice. "It must be quite dull to simply remain idle, wouldn't you agree?"
"Indeed, it is," Gaia's voice responded as Grey materialized on the Blue Star. "However, I'm not interested in that."
"I wish to become a Star Spirit. Can you facilitate that for me?" Gaia's voice held a hopeful tremor. "I yearn to traverse the universe and witness its wonders firsthand."
"Becoming a Star Spirit, you say?" Grey mused, nodding slowly. "That is certainly achievable."
Star Spirits, it was explained, were not a distinct race but rather celestial bodies that had attained sentience. One could liken them to spirits residing within mountains imbued with dense spiritual Qi, akin to certain realms within immortal cultivation.
However, the number of Star Spirits had been dwindling significantly due to the pervasive influence of Solarians. Stars that developed sentience and managed to expel Hell's authority from their celestial forms would transcend and achieve the status of Star Spirits.
It was understood that not all stars naturally possessed sentience; cultivating such awareness was a challenging endeavor. The Solarians' innate power suppressed any nascent consciousness within stars that had been exposed to the universe's origin power over eons. Nevertheless, stars possessing sentience prior to their formation still held a potential pathway to becoming Star Spirits.
Presently, the Human Alliance and other allied factions commanded vast galaxies teeming with innumerable stars. They exerted a potent aura, capable of spanning multiple galaxies, to counteract Hell's authority and the proliferation of Solarians, thereby creating an environment conducive to stellar sentience. In essence, these alliances were actively aiding stars in their journey to becoming Star Spirits, as they faced gradual extinction under Hell's oppressive influence.
"But doing so would render you a being of frequency. Is that acceptable?"
"Frequency, energy – they are fundamentally the same," Gaia affirmed. "If you assist me, I shall be eternally indebted to you."
"Now that the planet is entrusted to your safe keeping, I have no lingering concerns."
"Hmm," Grey acknowledged with a nod. "I can make the necessary arrangements."
He promptly made his way to the designated gods' quarters, a space meticulously prepared by the mechas at the Mecha Forge. These sophisticated robots possessed the capability to manipulate space and time, which Grey leveraged to construct a secret realm specifically for the gods. Upon entering, he discovered a magnificent golden palace. He had granted the gods the autonomy to design it according to their preferences, and they had evidently opted to replicate the existing architectural style found elsewhere within the domain.
This was hardly an unwelcome development. He then proceeded to meet with Kaelith, and together, they set out in search of a Star Being.
Beyond aiding Gaia, Grey harbored a keen desire to observe the operational principles of Star Beings. These entities, spirits by nature, wielded the authority to draw power directly from their stellar essence. He was eager to comprehend the exact manifestation of this unique power.
Soon, Kaelith successfully located a star of immense proportions, vast enough to encompass an entire star region. This particular star was, in fact, a Star Spirit.
Whrmm!
The colossal star stirred abruptly, coalescing into a humanoid form resembling a human, crowned with luminous, star-like hair.
"W-What can I do for you, True Saint and 8th-rank god expert?" the Star Spirit inquired, its tone tinged with palpable fear.
"Oh? You recognize us?"
"Yes. We Star Spirits possess the natural ability to communicate amongst ourselves. We are privy to events unfolding across the universe, even the most trivial occurrences. With little else to occupy our time, we often engage in gossip or similar pastimes."
"..." Grey found himself rendered momentarily speechless.
His consciousness seamlessly merged with the information layer. Indeed, he perceived trillions of clandestine gateways surrounding the Star Spirit.
[Your comprehension defies the heavens! By observing the information layer frequency of the Star Spirit chat system, you have gained access to it.]
[Ding!]
[Grey Lockhart has joined the chat.]
[StarSpiritNebula: ???? What the hell?]
[StarSpiritNova: ????]
[StarSpiritQuasar: ????]
[Grey Lockhart: Hi, I am a Star Spirit starting today as well. Nice to meet you all.]
[StarSpiritVoid: Greetings mate, welcome to the Star Spirit channel. This was a channel created by the Origin Will so we can freely communicate with our fellow breathers in other domains and whatnot.]
[StarSpiritPulsar: Are you a newly ascended spirit? Why do you have the exact name of the newly born Saint that destroyed the dragon and the Immortal Sovereign Palace?]
[StarSpiritZenith: Dumbass, that is him!!!]
Even the Star Spirit before Grey wore a stunned expression.
"Saint, how did you manage to gain access to our secure chat?" the Star Spirit inquired, its face a mask of utter bewilderment.
"I am built different." Grey gave a solemn nod. "Well, this will come in handy."
"Anyways. I am here to take a look at your structure. Once I am done, I will be on my way."
"Look at my structure?" The Star Spirit blinked nervously. "Do I have to get naked?"
"NO." Grey’s expression instantly turned grim.
"Phew." The Star Spirit let out a breath of relief. "That is good then."
