Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven Chapter 509: The Scale of endless reality

Alan Benson was indeed the most suitable individual for the task.
"Understood, Master. I shall prepare a reality ship immediately. I am currently outside of our universe."
"What?" Grey exclaimed, utterly confused by Alan's statement.
"This is merely a sliver of myself that I left behind in this particular reality," Alan explained patiently. "I will reach you shortly."
"..." Grey regarded Alan Benson with a newfound perspective.
Naturally, this revelation shouldn't have been entirely unexpected. How could the progenitor of the Esper Path be an ordinary individual? It was clear now that he was a traveler of the multiverse!
"Do you traverse the multiverse using World-Breaking Source Power?" Grey inquired, his curiosity piqued.
"Not exclusively," Alan Benson replied, shaking his head. "However, I am surprised you are aware of it, Master. It is said to be a power that originated from an ancient entity which once gave birth to the infinite realities."
[Indeed, it originates from the Core. World-Breaking Source Power is intrinsically linked to the Ascendancy Domain, which explains your ability to navigate diverse planes of existence. Within the Ascendancy Domain, however, World-Breaking Source Power serves a distinctly different purpose.]
Finality's voice echoed lazily within Grey's mind.
Alan Benson continued his explanation.
"When it comes to traversing the multiverse, World-Breaking Source Power is not the optimal choice. That particular energy is typically employed for ascending to higher-tiered worlds or, under sufficient application, for forcibly breaching into them. The reality we perceive is, in truth, boundless."
"It comprises numerous tiered planes of existence, beginning with Tier 1 planes, where the most potent beings might only achieve the pinnacle of the first evolutionary rank. An unending stream of Tier 1 planes is created every moment. Even as we converse, over a million new worlds within the Tier 1 plane have already come into being."
"From there, the planes of existence ascend in tiers. However, it is not truly infinite. This is precisely where Finality comes into play; its role is to maintain equilibrium. The ancient power that birthed the infinite realities constantly strives to generate more planes, but Finality intervenes to prevent an excessive proliferation, thereby preserving balance. If more worlds are born, more will inevitably perish. This constitutes Finality's fundamental purpose."
"Regardless of the circumstances, equilibrium is absolutely paramount."
"Returning to our discussion, we currently find ourselves within a Tier 10 plane of existence. We possess our own distinct multiverse, surrounded by an immense multitude of worlds."
"To journey between these planes, World-Breaking Source Power is not an absolute necessity. What is required is what we term a 'reality ship' – a vessel capable of withstanding the pervasive chaos that exists beyond the confines of the universal structure."
"The chaos?" Grey questioned.
"Precisely. In all worlds, without exception, a singular, unyielding truth prevails externally: chaos. This chaos is, in fact, a vital catalyst for breaking free from the limitations of a universe."
"Chaos is the domain of the ancient races who follow the Primordial Path. Naturally, to locate them, one would need to venture an extraordinary distance, reaching the ultimate boundary of a plane's existence and perhaps even venturing into higher planes."
"Are there tiers above ours?" Grey inquired.
"Indeed, there are two. Beyond those lie the truly superior worlds."
"These worlds can effortlessly give birth to and sustain beings of the 11th and 12th ranks."
"Naturally, the fundamental principle of evolution remains operative even there."
"It is possible you are unaware of this particular historical detail, Master Grey."
"The very concept of evolution originated directly from our universe."
"What?" Grey was utterly stunned by this revelation. "How can that be possible when two universes above us still adhere to the path of evolution?"
"Well, to put it plainly, that is the prevailing belief, even within those higher realms."
"As for the absolute truth, I confess I am not entirely certain myself."
"You might need to consult the Origin Will," Alan Benson suggested with a meaningful glance. "I've perceived her presence frequently in your vicinity."
"Huh?" Grey was flabbergasted upon hearing this.
"Are you present, Origin Will?" Grey queried internally.
To his astonishment, a prompt response followed. "Hmph, I am merely observing to ensure you don't stir up more trouble. I have no desire for you to cause further disturbances in my universe."
The Origin Will conveyed this with a fleeting image of her sticking out her tongue before vanishing quickly.
Grey was rendered speechless.
Wonderful. Now he had two distinct voices residing within his consciousness.
"Incidentally, while we're on the subject, is what Alan stated accurate?" Grey asked.
"It could be true, or it could be false," the Origin Will stated, reappearing with a mental shrug. "I am unable to reveal any specific details about the universe to you. To disclose the ultimate truth would be a direct defiance of the heavens."
"Tch," Grey clicked his tongue, a hint of annoyance audible.
"Naturally, you are a detestable being. You wouldn't concern yourself if I were harmed by the Heavenly Dao, which is why you find me bothersome. Hmph," the Origin Will retorted, crossing her arms with indignation.
"However, I will impart this one piece of information. What he spoke of... it might possess a kernel of truth. Though, I confess, I am not entirely certain myself."
"Huh? How can you be unsure about your own history? You are the Origin Will," Grey questioned, his confusion evident.
"I cannot elaborate further. But as I mentioned, our world boasts an exceptionally long history. It stands as one of the rare worlds that were active during the era of the previous Heavenly Dao."
"Legend has it that the Chaos Emperor originated from this very place."
"Eh?" Grey was completely taken aback by this monumental revelation.
"Indeed. The reason I did not materialize beside you when you were causing a disturbance in the Milky Way Galaxy was due to his residual power. His remnants are still dispersed throughout this universe. The turbulence observed in that particular galaxy was instigated by one of his remains – perhaps his source or something akin to it. It appears, however, that someone has already claimed it. Likely that fellow, Tian Yuan."
"To be perfectly candid, I harbor a greater animosity towards him than I do towards you."
"Oh," Grey responded, a flicker of surprise crossing his features. This was indeed a remarkably intriguing piece of intelligence.
