Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven Chapter 462: How can it be him?

~5 minute read · 1,170 words

Everyone in the upper VIP area had a look of deep despair slowly forming on their faces when they saw the man who had just appeared.

The man was dressed in highly simple clothing. He wore an eerie grin, and his eyes were completely pitch black, looking as if they could devour anything in their path.

The instant the man appeared, he smiled brightly and snapped his fingers.

"I heard from certain people that the Pan-Cosmic Human Alliance Tournament was going on. It would be a huge shame if the youth from the Abyss did not participate, would it not?"

Following his snap, more and more world-breaking Source Power erupted across the Origin Planet. Out of the dark portals walked several young Abyssal beings.

Tian Yuan, who was sitting on the highest floor, almost lost his cold composure seeing this scene.

"How can it be him?" Godfrey Azureheaven shot up from his seat in sheer disbelief. "It is him."

"Who is he, Father?" Oliver asked his father, the Emperor of the Aeonic Divine Kingdom.

Emperor Theo was visibly shaken while staring at the dark figure.

"He is the one... he is the root of all evil. The source of all corruption. The Abyssal God."

"No one truly knows his name, but those who do never see another day. The cosmic world itself actively censors his name when uttered. He is the one who shall not be named."

The instant he dropped that forbidden title, many experts across the stadium went completely pale.

The Abyssal God was a terrifying legend. He would descend into the main universe occasionally and cause mass-scale destruction. The only people who could ever stop his descent were the ancient human ancestors.

The Grand Arbiter swiftly took out a highly secure communication device and began to type away frantically.

However, before he could finish, a lazy voice cut through the tense air.

"Do not even try. The Null Zone makes it impossible for your signals to reach them," the Abyssal God said with a mocking smile. "Besides, do you think those old fossils would concern themselves with a small phone call? They are far too busy trying to forge a Chaos Body. Hahahaha!"

The Abyssal God burst out laughing. Seeing this, the young Abyssal teenagers standing behind him also burst out laughing.

"Of course, if one of those old coots sees this livestream, I will be in a bit of trouble. So how about we wrap this up quickly? I will generously grant the winner any wish they desire. And maybe if I am in a good mood, I will even lessen the effects of the corruption fields in this universe."

The experts in the stadium all wore deeply grim expressions, including the Patriarch of the Dragon Clan and his elders.

They might be prideful creatures, but this man was an unfathomable being they simply could not defeat. They knew his mere existence fully descending into this world could crush reality completely. The only thing stopping his true body was the chaotic force outside this universe.

"What are your true intentions, Abyssal God?" Matthew, the Grand Arbiter, asked. His expression was deathly pale.

"What are my intentions? Just a highly friendly match with the top talents from the Abyss, that is all. If you guys cooperate, then I will leave peacefully. If not..." The Abyssal God broke into a devilish grin.

"And on that note," he continued, turning his gaze upward. "Tian Yuan, what are you doing here? Do you have a habit of making clones everywhere you go? Are you not supposed to be in the past right now?"

"Mind your own business, #####," Tian Yuan, who had been silently observing until now, finally spoke up.

This immediately caught everyone’s attention. The Grand Arbiter had his jaw hanging wide open. It was not just him. The entire stadium fell into a dead silence when Azathoth’s true name was casually uttered by Tian Yuan, only to be violently censored by the world’s laws.

"Miss Juli... That is the Abyssal God." The head of the entertainment commission, Gepard, the same man who had recruited Alissa a year ago, spoke in a highly fearful tone.

"The Abyssal God." Alissa’s eyes silently flashed upon hearing this.

She had heard of his terrifying existence from the Dragon Clan. He was said to be the spawn of all evil and the core reason behind the deadly corruption fields scattered across the starry sky.

Why had a supreme being like this forcefully descended into this world? That was the vital question.

Miwa and Juli stared at the Abyssal God on the broadcast screen. That was when Tian Yuan spoke Azathoth’s name. The instant they heard the censored static, they violently flinched.

"I have sensed a terrible omen on this planet for a long while now, and I knew it had something to do with you," Tian Yuan spoke coldly. "Speak, #####. I know your intention is not just for a friendly tournament, is it?"

Azathoth smiled politely hearing this.

"Why are you being so reasonable right now?" he inquired mockingly. "The Tian Yuan I knew would probably start attacking me the instant he saw my face. But I guess it is fair. You are not even at the 6th Rank in that fragile body."

Azathoth laughed loudly. The younger generation of Abyssal beings also began to laugh mockingly at the Prime Judicator.

"Prime Judicator... what is the meaning of this? Why did some part of your words get violently censored by the world when you spoke?" Matthew asked in a heavily bewildered tone.

"Keep quiet." Tian Yuan looked at the Grand Arbiter indifferently.

In the following moment, he casually stepped onto the empty air. The instant he did so, everyone gasped in pure surprise.

"How is he doing that? All of our powers are completely sealed right now," Anderson, Angela, William, and his wife spoke in near unison.

They were not wrong to be surprised. They could not utilize their Domain Force at all. But Tian Yuan, the Prime Judicator, could walk on air just fine. And he also seemed to be fully aware of the true name of the Abyssal God. What was the hidden correlation here?

"Hahahaha! It seems like these local people are highly clueless as to who you truly are, Tian Yuan," Azathoth chuckled softly. "Well, it should already be highly obvious from your name."

The Abyssal God turned to the stunned crowd.

"Everyone, meet Tian Yuan, the supreme Lord of the Daoye Palace! Well, it is just a clone, but you get the point, right?"

"What?!" The Grand Arbiter showed a thoroughly stunned look.

So did the other Emperors. The rulers of the Cosmic Ascendant Divine Kingdom, the Archon Divine Kingdom, the Radiant Light Divine Kingdom, and the Celestial House Divine Kingdom all showed massive changes in their expressions. They all stared at Tian Yuan in utter disbelief.

"Y-You are that Tian Yuan?" The Grand Arbiter was stunned well beyond words.
