The protagonist arrives at Rumble Valley, a dangerous region of the void known for its deafening rumbles. He prepares for a potential confrontation with Sovereign Eternal Time by creating a complex formation using millions of runes infused with various Origins. He then instructs his summons to focus on the Origin of Time to learn from their impending battle.

I did not have to wait much longer.

After some time had passed, I suddenly felt a very faint fluctuation outside Rumble Valley. It was so subtle that an ordinary Demi-God might have overlooked it entirely, especially with the constant thunderous explosions caused by the natural formation surrounding the region. But my perception had already spread across the area, and the moment that fluctuation appeared, it immediately caught my attention.

I slowly turned my head toward the left and smiled.

My vision crossed the endless darkness of the void and eventually landed on a figure standing far beyond Rumble Valley. Sovereign Eternal Time had arrived.

He was standing quietly in the distance, and the moment my gaze fell upon him, he also looked toward me. For a brief moment, neither of us moved. Then he took a single step forward.

Space seemed to lose its meaning beneath his feet.

His figure crossed an enormous distance before finally stopping, but he deliberately maintained a considerable gap between us. Even after coming closer, he remained far enough away that neither of us could launch an ordinary attack without first closing the distance. It was a small detail, but it revealed his cautious nature. He had clearly not come here carelessly, and despite believing Amun had sent him, he still did not intend to place himself within easy striking distance.

"Sovereign Origin," he greeted calmly. "Amun told me that you had encountered some trouble in Rumble Valley and needed assistance. I came here to help you deal with the traitor."

I smiled faintly.

"So Amun told you that there was a traitor here?"

Eternal Time nodded. "Yes. He said that you had discovered someone suspicious and wanted additional support before confronting them. Since I was already nearby, I came here immediately."

I slowly stood up, brushing the last traces of dust from my clothes even though there was nothing actually clinging to them. I looked at him for a few moments before letting out a quiet chuckle.

"Amun was right."

Eternal Time’s expression relaxed slightly.

"You really do need assistance."

His eyes narrowed a little, but before he could say anything, I continued.

"Unfortunately, you misunderstood one thing. The traitor I am talking about is not someone else."

The faint smile on Eternal Time’s face disappeared.

I looked directly into his eyes.

"It is you."

For a moment, the surrounding void seemed unusually quiet despite the constant thunder of Rumble Valley.

Eternal Time did not respond immediately. His eyes narrowed as he stared at me, and I could see the surprise spreading across his face.

Then I continued before he could pretend otherwise.

"There is no need to play stupid anymore. We already know that you are in cahoots with the Eternals."

His expression changed completely.

I smiled calmly.

"Sovereign Abyssal Darkness told us everything before he died."

His eyes narrowed.

He stared at me without saying anything, and for several seconds the only sound between us was the continuous thunder rolling through Rumble Valley. I could see his mind working as he tried to understand exactly how much I knew and how his plans had been exposed.

Then he chuckled. He slowly shook his head.

"So that is how it happened."

His calm expression disappeared, replaced by a strange mixture of amusement and disappointment.

"I suppose I should have expected this eventually. Amun has been suspicious for a long time, and now it seems he finally decided to stop pretending that he trusted me."

He paused before continuing, his voice becoming colder.

"But what I cannot understand is why he would send you here alone. Did he really believe you could deal with me?"

His smile widened.

"That was a foolish decision."

He began speaking more freely now, as though he had finally stopped seeing any reason to hide his intentions.

"Amun has always been too cautious, but this time he has gone too far in the other direction. He has become so desperate to remove us that he has started believing in every piece of information that reaches him. Did he truly tell you that he was coming here to assist you? Did you actually believe that I would come here without making my own preparations?"

I remained silent.

Sovereign Eternal Time laughed softly.

"You really are quite naive if you believed everything Amun told you. He may be a High Demi-God, but that does not mean he is the only one capable of making plans."

He suddenly raised his hands and clapped them together. The sound echoed through the void.

The Space beside him immediately began trembling.

A ripple spread outward, and another figure slowly emerged from it.

My eyes narrowed.

A man appeared beside Sovereign Eternal Time, surrounded by violent fluctuations of lightning.

Sovereign Annihilating Lightning.

So the second traitor had come as well.

I looked at the two of them standing together, and everything suddenly became much clearer. Eternal Time had never intended to come here alone. He had already anticipated that Amun might eventually move against him, and rather than walking into a trap, he had brought another Demi-God with him.

Sovereign Eternal Time noticed my reaction and smiled.

"You see? I did not come here relying solely on Amun’s words. I made my own preparations."

He spread his hands slightly.

"You think we are stupid because we have allowed the war to continue for so long, but you should understand something. We have survived for just as long as you have, and we know how dangerous Amun can be. Did you really think we would simply wait for him to decide our fate?"

He chuckled again.

"We have always prepared for the possibility that our identities would be exposed."

Then he waved his hand.

Three strange black branches appeared in his palm. The moment they appeared, my expression changed.

I could feel it immediately.

Time ripples.

Not ordinary fluctuations of Time Origin, but extremely pure and concentrated Time energy that seemed to have been accumulated over an unimaginably long period.

I stared at the branches.

"What are those?"

Sovereign Eternal Time smiled when he noticed my reaction.

"They were gifted to me by the Eternals."

His fingers slowly tightened around them.

"These branches grow within the Origin Expanse of the Eternal Universe. They come from the Eternal Tree of Time."

My eyes narrowed slightly.

"The Eternal Tree of Time?"

"Yes."

He looked almost proud as he explained. "It is an ancient existence rooted within the Origin Expanse of the Eternal Universe. The branches that grow from it contain extremely pure Time Origin. For someone who has already comprehended the Time Origin, consuming one can greatly increase their resonance and deepen their understanding."

He lifted the three branches slightly.

"These are not ordinary treasures. Even the Eternals do not hand them out casually."

I continued watching without saying anything.

Sovereign Eternal Time suddenly smiled.

"You wanted to see how much preparation I had made?"

He crushed the three branches in his hand.

The black wood shattered instantly, turning into countless particles of dark dust. An incredibly dense wave of Time Origin erupted from the fragments, causing the surrounding void to ripple violently.

Before the energy could disperse, Eternal Time opened his mouth and inhaled.

The entire cloud of dust was pulled toward him.

He swallowed it directly.

The moment the dust entered his body, his aura erupted.

Time ripples spread outward from him in every direction, growing stronger with each passing second. The void around his body began moving strangely, with moments appearing to accelerate and others seeming to slow down as his Time Origin absorbed the power contained within the branches.

I watched the transformation carefully.
