The transformation did not stop immediately. The Time Origin within Sovereign Eternal Time continued surging through his existence as the power contained in the three branches was gradually refined.

I carefully observed every fluctuation, and my expression slowly became serious as I watched his resonance climb higher and higher. Thirty-five percent. Thirty-eight percent. Then finally, it stopped at forty percent.

My eyes narrowed.

Sovereign Eternal Time looked toward the isolated Space-Time prison where Sovereign Annihilating Lightning had disappeared, then turned his attention back to me with a faint smile.

"Are you afraid?"

His tone carried obvious mockery. "Is that why you separated him from me? Don’t worry. He will break out soon enough."

He paused, his smile widening.

"But you do not need to worry about him. I can deal with you alone."

He raised one hand toward me.

The moment his palm faced me, the surrounding void began to tremble. A deep golden light gathered above his hand, condensing into a narrow beam that carried an extremely dense fluctuation of Time Origin.

"Eternal Stasis."

The ray shot toward me.

I immediately recognized the technique and responded without hesitation. My own Time Origin surged, and a deep golden ray erupted from my hand, carrying the full force of my thirty-two percent Time resonance.

The two rays collided halfway between us.

The void exploded.

An enormous wave of Time fluctuations spread outward from the collision point, causing the surrounding debris to tremble violently. So did Eternal Time.

For a brief moment, the two forces remained locked against each other. Then a crack appeared in my golden ray.

My expression changed slightly.

The crack rapidly spread across the attack before the entire beam shattered.

Eternal Time’s ray continued forward.

It struck me directly. My body froze. The movement of my Soul Force, the circulation of my Origins and even the flow of Time around my existence became completely stagnant. I could not move a single finger.

Eternal Time laughed loudly.

"Hahaha! Did you really think that was enough to oppose me?"

His figure disappeared.

The next instant, he was already rushing toward me. He crossed the distance in a blink, and when he was less than a foot away, he raised his hand.

A sword formed within his grasp.

It was not an ordinary sword.

The entire weapon was condensed from Time Origin, and the moment it appeared, the blade began expanding within my perception.
