My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 1190: New Discovery
Previously on My Talent's Name Is Generator...
My expression slowly became serious.
Ten percent of my Soul Sphere now contained a form of energy that was fundamentally different from everything I had possessed before.
I looked toward the remaining ninety percent of silver Soul Force and then toward the brilliant golden strands woven through it.
I had thought I had already reached the extreme of the Saint Realm.
Apparently, I had only just discovered another threshold.
The realization came naturally as I examined the golden energy circulating within my Soul Sphere. This was not simply a stronger variation of the Soul Force I had been using. Its very nature was different.
The silver Soul Force represented the culmination of the Saint Realm, while the golden Soul Force represented something beyond it, a level of condensation that could only be achieved once a Saint’s foundation began approaching the Demigod Realm.
I already knew that reaching the Demigod Realm required more than merely condensing Soul Force. There were other steps involved in completing the foundation and truly crossing that threshold, and I had not yet fulfilled them. Still, possessing even a small amount of golden Soul Force meant that I had already touched one of the characteristics of that realm. I had taken another step toward the boundary separating Saints from Demigods.
I exhaled slowly and looked across the battlefield.
Verilux was gone.
The eleven rods remained standing around the isolated region, and the Soul Sea had gradually returned to its normal flow. There was nothing else here that required my attention. I recalled the rods and stored them away before preparing Echo Reversion once more.
The contracts were still waiting for me, and every second mattered.
I locked onto the location of one of the regions and disappeared.
When I reappeared, I found Knight already engaged in battle with two Eternals. I remained several hundred meters away and immediately expanded my perception across the battlefield. The situation was heavily in Knight’s favor.
Both Eternals were covered in injuries, their bodies bleeding and their Soul Force severely depleted, while Knight had only a single wound across his body. What surprised me most was that he had not even released his Domain.
He was fighting entirely through his mastery of Space.
I established a connection with him through our bond.
’Verilux is finished. End this quickly.’
Knight’s eyes briefly shifted toward me.
He nodded and moved.
Space around his body distorted as he vanished from where he stood. The next instant, two enormous spatial claws materialized around the Eternals, crossing each other in an enormous X. The claws tore through the surrounding space and passed directly through both opponents.
Their bodies froze.
Then both Eternals exploded simultaneously, their remains scattering across the battlefield as their Soul Force dissipated into the surrounding air.
Knight didn’t even pause.
He raised one hand and made a clawing motion through the air. Space immediately split open before him, revealing a dark spatial rift. He reached inside and pulled something from the other side.
A scroll.
He flashed toward me and extended it without saying a word. I accepted it and immediately recognized the familiar aura.
One portion of the Contract.
A grin appeared on my face.
"Let’s go."
Knight nodded, and together we disappeared toward the next region.
The pattern repeated across the Prime Territory.
When we arrived at Lyrate’s battlefield, she had already defeated one of the Eternals. The remaining Eternal was barely holding on when she noticed our arrival. Lyrate didn’t give her opponent an opportunity to retreat. Creation Laws surged around her, and the battlefield itself seemed to obey her will as she brought the fight to an immediate conclusion.
The second Eternal fell.
Lyrate retrieved the contract and joined us without wasting time.
We moved again.
Then Ragnar and others.
One region after another, we descended upon the battlefields where my summons had been fighting the Eternals. Their improved strength had become immediately apparent. The transformation of my foundation had strengthened the connection between us, and each of them was now capable of unleashing power far beyond what they had possessed before entering the Null Realm.
By the time we finished the sixth region, the final Eternal had fallen.
Six scrolls rested in my possession. Six portions of the Contract.
Only one remained.
The contract that was with the Ironharts.
Throughout the entire process, I remained constantly alert. I had been expecting interference from the Demigods ever since I returned to the Prime Territory. Every battle, every teleportation and every encounter had been accompanied by the expectation that an overwhelming presence would descend upon us and disrupt everything.
Yet nothing happened.
No Demigod appeared. No Warden crossed into our path. That silence was almost more unsettling than an attack would have been.
Still, I couldn’t afford to stop and investigate.
The six scrolls were now secured, and only one contract remained.
I looked toward the others and Knight was the first to speak. His calm voice carried some excitement.
"Only one contract remains, and it is with the Ironheart settlement. You should go and retrieve it. We will move through the other regions and eliminate the remaining Phantoms and the administrator."
Aurora’s voice immediately followed, carrying a hint of excitement despite the exhaustion she had endured.
"Yeah. Since we’re clearing them anyway, we might as well clear everything properly. Let’s make sure nothing is left behind."
I nodded.
"I agree. Let’s finish it quickly. Once you’re done, let me know. I’ll summon you beside me."
Knight acknowledged the order with a brief nod, while Aurora’s lightning flickered around her body.
"We’ll handle it."
The six of them separated once again, each heading toward a different region to deal with the remaining abominations and phantoms that had been left behind. There was no longer any reason to conserve their strength, and their task was simple: eliminate every remaining threat and secure the territories before the situation could deteriorate again.
I watched them disappear before turning toward the final destination.
The Ironheart settlement.
Only one contract remained.
